The Basics Workshop was such a fun and rewarding experience. I realized that coding isn't as intimidating as it often seems, and that's all thanks to the SheCodes team for their excellent teaching and the support available on Slack whenever we needed help. I would highly recommend this platform to anyone, regardless of age, who wants to learn coding. It's the perfect place for absolute beginners like me. Attending this coding workshop was an incredibly enriching experience! Initially i had a lot of doubts about whether or not i would be able to see it through this challenge, since this is an entirely new field for me. I've really enjoyed learning the coding basics through SheCodes. The online workshops are very informative and easy to understand and were always available to review if a refresher was needed. It was a good course learning python basics, the format was easy to follow and support was good from the team. The only feedback I have is that sometimes found it a little clunky following along when replit changed it's UI and didn't match what the course demos showed.

Once again the workshops and support from the SheCodes team were amazing and I feel like I've learned so much in such a short period of time! The SheCodes plus workshop is a great follow on from the Basic & Basic Add-On, implementing new key concepts in an engaging and easy to learn format that anyone could follow. While I still have a ways to go, completing these workshops has given me a great boost in confidence and my goal of becoming a developer feels a lot closer than before!

This was such a great course and for me was well timed finding SheCodes as I am currently in recovery from an injury and I needed to do something to keep my mind active. I honestly never thought I could finish any coding course because they always seemed impossible to follow, but SheCodes Basics was surprisingly really easy to follow. Matt provided a fun and very well structured lessons and the challenges were well designed and fundamental to reinforce the learnings of each lesson. I completed the SheCodes Basics class and had a week to work on the add-on, despite my busy schedule. The team was very supportive, allowing me to continue learning when I was ready. I thought the other SheCodes workshops were challenging - not till I started Responsive Add-On! This workshop not only challenged me, it taught me a whole lot of techniques to help build a more sophisticated and responsive website. I learnt techniques like using css grids, html tables, css filters, css hero, and how to embed parts of other websites. I am really happy to see how far I have come in this journey and the skills I have acquired along the way. Thank you to the SheCodes team for this learning opportunity. I just finished a JavaScript programming course, and it was awesome! The lessons were clear and easy to follow, covering everything from the basics to more advanced stuff. What really stood out was the amazing team – they were always there to help and answered any questions I had super quickly. The whole experience really helped me improve my coding skills!

This was a fun little add-on, that built on and further advanced existing CSS, JavaScript and API skills we've learnt previously. I have been using the joke generator every morning in my team stand-ups!

This is my first project doing API integration with a third party and it's so cool. I've heard about Vanilla before this, and I have been believing on my own made-up myth that it would be something so sophisticated. As I progress week by week in SheCodes, it's not as hard as I feared. It is all doable and easy to understand. Including the term Vanilla. Wow. Thanks, team. Of all that, I love the support from the team. My homework is reviewed and each of my concerns are answered within 12hours so far. I appreciate that a lot Team! I really enjoy all the lessons here from week one to three as they are always simple and easy to understand. I also have a great time in doing the little challenges at the end of some lessons that really test my understanding of the lesson being taught. I had started my coding journey two years ago, a few months after giving birth to my daughter. My main motivation was starting a lucrative career that would allow me to spend more time with my baby. I have tried many workshops, online courses and bootcamps but none of them compare to SheCodes. Learning React and building a weather application was a long and complex process that required significant effort and support. The course was well-structured, providing clear explanations of React fundamentals while introducing practical skills that still demand ongoing practice and learning. The hands-on approach of creating a real-world project and applying my basic coding knowledge helped me solidify my understanding and gain confidence in my abilities. By the end of the course, I successfully submitted a weather app that reflects my learning, though I continue to refine it by adding responsive design and accessibility features aligned with WCAG 2.2 guidelines. I am very pleased with Matt and his team for supporting me in this new pathway!

As a complete beginner and definitely not at all tech minded i was concerned that this course would be beyond my abilities but wanted to give it a go. Imagine my surprise to have just been able to submit my final project, an actual webpage with an interactive button. I am beyond proud! Feedback for the SheCodes Team The tasks should not be overly difficult to ensure a smooth learning experience. If the level is too advanced, it may reduce confidence in the course. I would have preferred more exercises to reinforce my skills instead of focusing on advanced techniques early on. While I can produce a forecast in the end, the underlying concepts remain unclear. Additionally, I would have appreciated more privacy when obtaining the certificate, as it requires a photo and is publicly visible. Furthermore, the process creates an expectation to leave a positive review, which I find problematic.

SheCodes Responsive really took me on a coding adventure! I learnt a lot of new techniques in CSS (e.g. how to declare a variable in css to use in multiple pages) and html - how to build multiple page websites and navigate different sections using links. The most interesting aspect of this workshop was learning how to make websites responsive (across different platforms) and making it search engine optimization (SEO) friendly on google. It was a challenging but very interesting and rewarding workshop. Thank you once more to Matt and the SheCodes team for the lessons and weekly challenges.

As a beginner to front-end languages, I really enjoy & appreciate the bite-sized learning offered by SheCodes and the challenge comes after each course. This design allows me to put what I've learned from each session into practice right away and reach out to the team for help if needed. After SheCodes Basic, I know that I would love to continue and advance my learning in coding thanks to this interesting & interactive experience.
