APIs have been a mystery to me for years, but things are finally starting to click. 🎉 I cannot believe how incredibly helpful and supportive the SheCodes team and my fellow learners are. When things get tough, the community is there to rebuild my confidence, offer support and/or helpful advice. A massive (continued) thanks to Matt for the easy-to-follow lessons. Excited to find out what the next course has in store for us!

These 8 weeks looked so daunting at first but with the help of the well explained videos and the team from slack, it was made easier to understand the work and learn along the way.

SheCodes Responsive taught me how to create responsive websites that could be accessed on a mobile and desktop device and respond to the size of the screen. This course allowed me to understand how developers can create amazing websites that can be used on various devices without any issues. I learned how to manipulate the placement of my images, text and other elements to design an efficient and beautiful website. I was taught to successfully use Bootstrap to create grids, CSS Utility Classes to design responsive websites for smaller screens, and practiced adding Bootstrap classes to my elements to easily and quickly add style without having to access the CSS file. The SheCodes Slack team was amazing throughout the learning process, because creating responsive websites can get confusing and frustrating. With their help, I was able to navigate through the lessons with little to no anxiety that I would be stuck and on my own.

Having completed SheCodes Basics, I felt I needed to continue with coding as I felt I was only getting started! In this week Add On, I learned how to create CSS grids which was something I was looking for in the Basics homework. Overall, I feel this short course has enabled me to keep my coding skills fresh in my mind whilst building more advanced HTML, CSS and Javascript. I really enjoyed making the Final Project and towards the end I ended up tinkering with the CSS code and understanding where to put certain classes or hovers - something I definitely wouldn't have been able to do 3 weeks ago. Thank you again to Matt and the SheCodes team, looking forward to continuing with SheCodes Plus!

What an experience this was. I learnt so much! If you want to take on a challenge and have fun while you are at it, you really should take these SheCodes courses. They are the best courses I have ever followed and I have followed quiet a few ... I am so happy I decided to take the Pro Course. Bravo SheCodes team. You guys are the best!

The SheCodes Plus workshop was a bit more advanced and challenging compared to Basics. However, the instructor, did an exceptional job of breaking down complex concepts into digestible chunks, making the learning process enjoyable and accessible. The support provided by the SheCodes team throughout the workshop was outstanding. Whenever I encountered challenges, they were quick to respond and offer guidance, ensuring that I stayed on track. One of the highlights of the workshop was the final project, where I had the opportunity to apply everything I learned to create a real-world web application. I completed a basic module of coding at university a number of years ago which I enjoyed yet I fully didn't understand it and how all the elements of coding languages interacted with each other. Now having dipped my toe back into coding with SheCodes, I have found exactly what I am looking for. Step-by-step videos which explain each topic with a short challenge using this knowledge, building your knowledge gradually. You have all the lessons to refer back to, the Slack community and also SheCodes Athena AI to assist you whenever you need it. Although at times it was challenging, it enabled me to go back, re-try and check my code and it's the best feeling when it loads and works which you have solved yourself! I really enjoyed creating the final project and definitely keen to look into coding further. Thank you Matt for all your lessons and the SheCodes team!

Definitely, my project gave me that feeling all the time; it was challenging, but I loved it. Matt is very patient and good at explaining everything step by step. After completing the previous workshops, I am starting to feel confident about adding, removing, and changing things in my coding. I am excited to see what is next and keep this journey. The Plus workshop truly challenged me and made me think hard about processes and programming logic, deeper understanding of JavaScript, and introduced APIs to the mix. This course is one of the best courses out there, I love the way that Matt explains things step by step and he keeps assuring us that its okey if you do not understand everything at once. At the beginning I was struggling to understand the concept of Web development but now I got to understand some of the things. This phase of the course was challenging but I'm happy I made it through. I kept going back and forth the videos to ensure that I understand the code ..I loved it all the challenges were worth it. The plus course was highly challenging for me, especially being able to manipulate and understand how the APIs work, it was very challenging but interesting at the same time. I recommend it, you learn a lot, and also the SheCodes team helps us from Slack in case we are blocked. Patience and persistence, are the keys to doing this course.

It is pretty challenging. But this course really motivated me to take on coding tasks and explore hackathons to challenge my skill and knowledge.
