I always had an interest in coding but didnt know the resources or basics. SheCodes made it way simplier for me to be more encouraged and continue with my interest in coding. The basics program was really fun and what i liked most were the challenges and positive feedback from shecodes team. Matt really is the teacher we all need for our coding journey and hes tutorials are simplified for us to enjoy and learn. I feel really blessed to have been chosen to attend this program.

Before, I watched other videos on coding, but found it too dry to continue learning. Years ago, I attempted a Computer Programming major, but had to change it, due to instructors' approach to instruction that was counterintuitive. Thank you Matt, for empowering many women, including myself, in our entry into the tech field. You are a great teacher! Of all coding programs out there, this is the most special and unique one. JavaScript was the most challenging to learn, but I still learned it better here, than from anyone else. Soon, I look forward to being paid to build landing pages.

Umm... It was a tough few weeks! It was way more challenging then basic one, Of course I should of known that. But it was fun. I got to learn how to make a "Weather App", now that was cool. I had never considered coding as a hobby or career option, now I can see both in my future. Coding is fun! I'm so glad to be learning coding with SheCodes and Amazing Teacher "Matt".

Starting these workshops is always intimidating but I am constantly pleasantly surprised at how challenging it is but also so figure-outable. Matt is a great teacher, the slack community is great and now we have athena our own personal AI assistant. It is challenging but there are so many ways to help you through it. So it ends up being quiet exciting and encouraging to be a shecodes student.
This was an amazing experience. This course really pushed me and allowed me to challenge myself a lot more. Matt was an amazing coach, teacher, and motivator. He made learning fun and I am glad that I took this course.

In the SheCodes React course I learned to develop web applications using the React library. The teacher explains the material well and clearly, making complex React concepts accessible even to those just starting to develop. His approach to teaching really helps you learn the fundamentals of React and put them into practice. I really liked that the course was completely practical, which made it easier to understand. I had a lot of fun during the 3 week SheCodes course, loved doing the challenges and the teachers were amazing making everything clear. I started from scratch and now I am building my way through coding... Thanks to the SheCodes team.
I am so grateful for this amazing opportunity to learn coding. I have experienced many educational programs in my life, I am a psychologist-coach, teacher and educational author, and I can honestly say that this was the best course ever. Course structure: The lessons are incredibly well structured, showing excellent insight in what the student is going through. For example, just when I felt like I needed to review the previous material because it was getting a little bit overwhelming, the next lesson - week 7- was a recap in which everything we had learnt was reviewed. Course content: Next to that, each lesson was a tiny step, so I never felt lost or confused. This is a key point to the course: it could seem incredibly overwhelming, but because of the small steps you suddenly arrive at the destination without realizing it! Individual learning path: The program also gives you the option to choose which level you want to engage in. For instance, the final project had two options, a basic and a more ellaborate one. And when working on the weekly challenges you can ask for help or get some hints if you want to. In terms of what we learn, I have consulted with software developers and they say it's a very complete program. Support! The SheCodes team is also very supportive and responsive: they are always available on Slack or email to answer any questions or help with any issues very quickly so when things got challenging it was nice to know that they were there. Their tone was always very friendly and they always put a smile on my face. Also, through Slack, other students help as well. SheCodes community: Last but not least, what really makes this experience unforgettable is the sense of community that the course creates. The SheCodes Radio we got from Matt just did it for me :) :). Thank you SheCodes! I enrolled in the Basic Course and then I immediately signed up for the Max course. Now that the Plus course is almost over, I am so glad I did, because I don't want to stop here! If you doubt whether to enrol or not, just DO IT! You will be so happy you did!
With all the workshops I achieved with SheCodes, I can tell I'm good in coding, already. 😅👩💻 But unfortunatly school is needed to get a serious job and at least 5 years of experience... 🫤 So I won't stop studiying after Shecodes but it really is the best way to learn and with the best teacher of all time. It's been a fun, challenging and humbling experience learning the basics of coding. I thoroughly enjoyed every step of the weekly challenges. Matt has been a phenomenal teacher by breaking down concepts to easily understand. These 3 weeks that i spent coding with SheCodes Basics has been absolutely exceptional. The information that i was able to learn was not easy but it definitely was doable and i enjoyed every single class provided. Javascript was a bit challenging for me but nevertheless, Matt Delac is the best teacher ever because i was able to understand the concept of it after a new times of re-watching the classes provided. Matt Delac is a very good teacher and illustrator and i find it very easy to learn from SheCodes than from places like youTube and Google unless i am researching one thing in particular. I love how the topics are lined up, makes them easy to understand. They are challenging yes but with SheCodes i stand a better chance of becoming a professional developer.

I learnt a lot from this course, initially I was afraid that I would not understand or be able to code an create anything through code. However Matt simplified everything breaking down each section of code and understanding how it works and how to read code. I have watched other tutorials for code but they did not make sense or help one grasp the concept of code. Matt is an excellent teacher and is great at sharing knowledge. I am happy that I can understand and code now. It has been a great experience.

For a long time i wasn't sure what i wanted to do and i tried so many things. I knew always that my love was towards computers and technology. I tried a couple of times to learn programming by myself, but sadly it was so overwhelming and chaotic. Also i didn't have anyone to share my questions or my troubles which made it very frustrating and underwhelming. After 2 years and my life being not very easy i was thinking about my future and what i really love. And the answer was always there: Coding. But i was afraid and i didn't know how to start, till i found out about SheCodes and this amazing community with a really friendly CEO and an incredible teacher, Matt, who helped me found my passion again and this time in a very solid way. My journey won't stop here with the Basic Course, rather the opposite. My journey has just started. ☺

The SheCodes React workshop challenges me a lot and I realized it's very easy to make mistakes and get frustrated. What worked for me is being able to go beack and debug. Overall, I gained a lot, Matt is a great teacher and thank you SheCodes for the opportunity.
When I started this course I thought it would be hard. Having no background in web development made me feel like this would be a very challenging task but what I soon learnt is that Matt is a great teacher.
