Finally another Workshop done "SHECODES PLUS". More pretty advanced knowledge learnt with always amazing and fantastic educator Matt Delac together with the very supportive team who continuously encourage to extend our horizon and enlarge our coding experiences.
What I really like about SheCodes is that there's support for you on slack whenever you're stuck and also the weekly submissions that keep you on track.
I highly recommend the SheCodes workshops! I was always very curious about coding, but never really had the time to explore this world, when this course came up on my LinkedIn feed it felt perfect timing! I first went to the free coding class with Matt and in just that 1h I learned so much. The SheCodes Online Workshop is suited for students of all ages and for beginners, it's well-paced, and at the end of each lesson, we have the opportunity to also practice with homework and projects. We are fully supported, if we have any difficulties on the projects we can ask the technical assistants and fellow students, and Matt is a brilliant teacher! After this workshop, I'm thinking to continue my studies in coding!
I had a great time learning basic skills in HTLM, CSS and JavaScript through SheCodes. The instruction videos are very clear and elaborate and the support network consisting of tutors and students is super helpfull. Though SheCodes is solely online, you really feel the support of your peers. I would highly recommend anyone who's willing to learn to do the workshop. It's 100% worth your time and money! I've tried coding courses before but always struggled to understand and never completed them. The bytesize lessons are ideal and enabled me to progress quickly. The support has been brilliant and I look forward to moving onto ShecodesPlus! Thanks, Matt.
Absolutely recommend SheCodes! I wasn't sure if I wanted to - or even could - learn coding, but these workshops made it extremely easy to learn and put everything into practice. You get the right amount of guidance and support, while still encouraging you to search for the relevant resources.
I had a great time learning and doing all the tasks and projects. I'm satisfied and proud of myself with what I've learned, although I know I'm still learning. Having a great team of support like Joao and Lexi, of course, Matt and the rest of the team behind the scenes, made this course fun, easy to follow and learn. I have thoroughly enjoyed doing the SheCodes Introduction to Coding Workshop, and I'm very much looking forward to starting SheCodes Plus! Matt explains things clearly, and I think the course set-up is excellent - the challenges are very helpful, the homework is useful for helping cement the new knowledge, and the final project was a fun way of testing my new skills, and starting off my coding portfolio. The Slack community is also very supportive, and it feels so good when you can help others as well. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to get into coding, whether you are starting from scratch or have some very basic HTML knowledge like me.
I had a blast working through the problems! Once again I love the setup for each lesson and how self-directed the workshop is while providing you with the right amount of support at the same time!

I learned a lot during SheCodes React, It was challenging but the constant support from the team on slack made the process easier. The videos Matt made are detailed and easy to understand. I would definitely recommend SheCodes React!

SheCodes has been an amazing experience and am so happy decided to choose the React course! With the slack chat and the amazing community I felt supported every step of the way and knew that when I got stuck there was always someone to ask! Matt is an amazing teacher (with great taste in music 👌🏻) and the lessons are easy to follow but still challenging enough to motivate you and get the most out of your learning experience. I had a wonderful time during the workshop. I'm a graduate student in Plant Biology, and I was looking for expanding my skillset during the quarantine. Classes were easy to follow, and the support team on Slack very friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn to program, even those without much time on their hands.

I've always wanted to learn to code and with SheCodes, I have! Just a few weeks ago it was a dream, and now it is my life ❤ The workshops and courses are divided and organized into small manageable lessons that anyone can learn from. I had so much fun! The resources and community here are so welcoming, supportive and encouraging! I always had help and got answers to my questions and never felt like my questions were "stupid". I have learned so much and look forward to the next step, with SheCodes Plus! I appreciate the instructor, Matt Delac, for creating such a great tool for women to advance themselves in this field. I’m crying with one eye and laughing with the other. I loved this course. And I’m super happy and super proud that I finished the final project. I did it. I have no words to describe how SheCodes made me learn something completely new and from scratch since April. My first SheCodes Workshop was supposed to be in Porto (4-5th April) instead it was a full weekend online and it was awesome! Even far away i felt connected. This is a great workshop! Between the lecture videos and the challenges in each lesson, the material is delivered in a clear, concise way. Before any other beginner coding workshops or courses, and believe me, I've looked at TONS, I'd suggest SheCodes. It's the most beginner friendly workshop I've found and the community is so supportive and talented!
When I decided to learn how to code I found out a lot of free material available online but I was missing structure, support, and motivation. SheCodes made coding looks easier, colorful, and funny. On top of that, I just love their mission of reducing the gender gap in the tech industry. Can't wait for the next steps!
I've improved my coding skills beyond my wildest dreams! Even though parts of the course have been quite difficult, the weeks have really flown by. The support provided by the SheCodes team (Matt, João & Lexi) has been awesome and there's always a friendly helper to lend a hand. I'm so glad I decided to take the plunge and deep-sea dive into the unknown world of coding, as It's opened my eyes to potential career opportunities for the future.
I have had so much fun learning the basics of coding in this course! Matt and his team have developed a well-structured course that is easy to follow. My favourite parts are the little challenges that are very satisfying to complete and a really fun way to test the knowledge taught! 10/10 would recommend this for beginners wanting to learn to code (properly) but in a fun and supportive way.

Course was well organised and the support system available is amazing.
Although at times I felt like beating my head against a wall, once the lessons clicked, I experienced many "Halleluja!" moments. So worth it in the end! Even though it was only a 3 week course, I feel like I really accomplished something, and that I've left with the foundations to continue on my coding journey. The SheCodes Team and slack community are so supportive, it really felt like you had a great foundation to make it to the finish line!
It was a great experience that encouraged me to continue my personal development in this field. The workshop is well defined. Ordered classes, sufficient explanations, ease to follow logical path , slac support group encourage you constantly to not to give up and move forward. Esthetics of the website, workshop and videos is very high and well appreciated. Well done ! :)
I have completed a few courses recently and I believe SheCodes has the best set up I've seen. The online community on Slack is friendly, helpful, inclusive and you can find all the help you need if you get stuck on the tasks. SheCodes has found the perfect balance between providing support and giving the users flexibility to complete the course in their own time. Matt's videos are clear and easy to follow! I'm really enjoying the course and I am signing up for the React Plus as I want to keep learning. I also really love seeing everyones final projects!
SheCodes gave me the motivation I needed to get into coding. I've tried numerous free courses, and they never stuck. As soon as I joined SheCodes, I was part of the community and felt supported. SheCodes is a great platform in learning how to code. The lessons were easy to follow while the challenges helped you to break down the steps to practice and fully understand the concepts. The projects reflected the concepts taught in the lessons but also gave you the freedom to be creative and make it your own. SheCodes is so much more than a learning platform. The Career Handbook is helping me to decide the next steps to take after graduating the bootcamp and continuing my coding journey. They also have SheCodes Radio that plays different music depending on your mood to code to. The SheCodes team has been so helpful and supportive as well. What an amazing experience! I never thought I could learn how to code in three weeks, but because of the amazing lessons and the support, I now know the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript! Coding is fun and very interesting, so I'm sure this is not the end of my coding career!
I started on this course to broaden my skill set and so glad I did! Matt ensures each and every step is well-explained and the slack support group is very helpful with the coach checking on to help you in anyway possible. I had so much fun learning and completing each tasks! Highly recommend it.
Coding always looked intimidating, but after taking this workshop I realized that HTML, JAVA, and CSS are languages that can be learned! I am glad I have spent significant time on my final project, and I am thankful for all the support I have received during the workshop by my fellow coders!
Great course for building on the initial Workshop and pushing your coding boundaries. Videos were great, and I liked the support that was given on Slack, as things are not handed to you and sometimes you need help to put all the information together.

I loved the React course and have learnt a huge amount! I learned loads, I still cannot believe I have created a fully functional app all by myself!!! I was worried the online course would not be sufficient or lack support, but I am pleased to confirm this was not at all the case. The videos/tutorials are very clear and I am very thankful to Matt and the team (overall João) for all the assistance throughout the course!! I have looooved this course! I have always wanted to learn to code and done so many courses but just didn't get it or wasn't engaged. I enrolled in the SheCodes workshop to challenge myself with a new skill. I found the course content, instructions and homework really easy to follow and the team is very supportive and accessible if you have any problems or questions. After taking the Free Coding Class, I knew I had to enroll in the SheCodes Workshop right away. What a ride! From doing the very first free coding class, then completing my basic 3 week course and continuing to SheCodes Plus, I finally finished with the whole shebang and completed React as well. This was definitely challenging and I wouldn't have been able to do it without the support of Matt, Lexi and João who have all been very helpful and dedicated to make this a beautiful experience. The SheCodes community is amazing! I really enjoyed having access to the other students if I was ever in a pickle, and reading through other peoples contributions on Slack I learned a lot as well. I'm hoping to find a way to keep learning React and incorporate my new skill into the way I work (in my current field of urban forestry 🌲🌳)- and hopefully create tools to make the world a better place. I knew I was a driven person who was always interested in learning how to code, but had trouble staying motivated learning on my own with the various overwhelming amount of resources out there. SheCodes provides a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment with the right amount of guidance. I can learn at my own pace but still have the accountability of challenges, homework, and a project with reasonable deadlines - I am now more motivated than ever to continue my coding journey.

SheCodes is the best! I began as a novice with the intro to coding class and quickly fell in love with coding through Matt's easy-to-follow videos and Joao's helpful support on challenges and homework. After graduating from the intro workshop, I immediately enrolled in SheCodes Plus and then SheCodes React. Improving my coding literacy and building the weather app project from scratch has been such an empowering experience. If the SheCodes team ever offers courses on any other coding languages, I will be first in line to sign up!
SheCodes is an excellent resource for aspiring coders looking to start at a beginner's level. Each lesson was so insightful! The community introduced to me through SheCodes were also so supportive and helpful. Having completed my workshops, I feel empowered to pursue more coding lessons in the future.
With SheCodes Plus, the coding finally gets real! You build your first complex project, which is super satisfying. I won't lie; there are also frustrating moments––but Matt's step-by-step explanations and João's constant support really help to keep the frustration at bay. I learned a lot and can't wait to start with React!

After completing the 3 week introductory course with SheCodes, I couldn't wait to carry on coding with SheCodes Plus. In SheCodes plus I began to realise the power of what a few lines of code can really do in JavaScript! It is a jump up from the introductory course for sure, but as always the support is amazing. This 3-week beginners course has taught me so much, I highly recommend it! Matt is a great teacher and the 24/7 support within the community was very nice to have. Within the final project I thoroughly got to put into practice what I have learned. I will continue with the more advanced workshops very soon!

I never coded before and absolutely fell in love with it! This is a workshop that is super useful if you just want to learn more about coding in general. What I personally like most about it is that I can get creative with the websites I am designing. I highly recommend SheCodes because it has a practical approach to teaching and support is great!

This workshop is amazing! The learning structure is very easy to follow with very well paced video tutorials that explain everything step by step and challenges that make you replicate the tutorials to really instill the knowledge in you. Support is there 24/7 if you need it and the coding is taught in a really fun way, I would definitely recommend to anyone, you don't even need that much time set aside for it.
I made a website from HTML, CSS and even some Javascript. The teaching style is supportive, clear and engaging; I am a hug fan of the way the workshops are structured and the UI. Messaging on slack is painless, and best of all, SheCodes radio. I must have listened to all the songs 4-5x.
What a fantastic workshop! The introductory course is laid out really well and Matt explains topics very clearly, especially to those with no coding experience. I came across SheCodes as I was looking for a course to help guide me through the basics of coding. I was interested in boosting my existing skills as I possibly want to dive deeper into front-end development in the future. I had tried learning beyond the basics of HTML online but found it to be overwhelming and wanted some structure. This course was the perfect first step for me and actually went beyond what I thought I'd learn! Every lesson was clear but if I wasn't sure about anything specific the community of other students & SheCodes support was very helpful. I definitely reccomend this course and plan on taking SheCodes Plus next.

Super fast paced, but the program gives you ample amount of time to be able to complete all the work. The SheCodes Slack channel is amazing and supportive. I would highly recommend any woman wanting to get an intro to coding.
I never thought that I'll be able to learn so much in few months. The best part about this course was hands on experience which made me wanted to learn and explore more. I like the way Matt always encourages us to try out the exercises instantly. Above that, Matt and his team members have been really supportive through out this course. I really enjoyed the progression from the workshop, to SheCodes Plus. The step by step approach, support from the team, and the support from fellow coders, all made it a great experience. It was challenging at times- but having access to comprehensive solutions once you'd worked on it yourself, helped enormously!
The workshop is well guided and explained, and there is an excellent system in place for when/if you require support. Highly recommend!
It was a lot of fun these past three weeks and I highly recommend this workshop for women who are not sure where to start. The videos are fun and easily able to follow. I had zero experience coming into this workshop and I loved every minute of it. It was not overwhelming, the support system is amazing and because of it I was able to complete the assignments and enjoy making them along the way. 😃

I enjoyed a lot these last three weeks on SheCodes WorkShop! The tutorials and the challenges are easy to follow, interesting, and keep you motivated to want to do more. Changing careers could be daunting, but SheCodes has helped me to gain the confidence to switch gears towards tech. I intend to be a Full-Stack UX Designer someday. They made it possible for me to study whilst working full-time. Matt explains the subject well and challenges you to look for the solutions yourself. Plus, having a supportive and approachable team whenever I'm stuck is a huge bonus! I will definitely apply to SheCodes React, and I'm already hyping myself up for another 3 months of countless hours of learning, coding and debugging! 🎉 🎊 🍻
I loved the SheCodes Workshop! Coding is something I have wanted to try for a long time, but I have always been put off by the fact that you are always told at school that coding is only for the people who were the very best at maths. However, as this course has taught me, that isn't at all the case! If you put your mind to it, anyone can learn how to code. I fully support any initiatives to encourage girls and women to code, as we are very underrepresented in the tech sector. Thank you to Matt Delac and the team for helping me on the first steps of my coding journey -- I will be continuing to develop my front-end development skills.
I am very satisfied.The best coding classes on whole Internet.😍 I have change to study in my free time, no stress that i will miss class. Everything is explained in plain English so even for people who doesn`t have IT programming background can understand it. And I have to say, that student support was absolutely brilliant👍, very quick and super helpful.
SheCode's community is great! Matt's bite-sized videos really keep you motivated to continue learning and coding. Ive really enjoyed the workshops and am very tempted to sign up to the next workshops! Thank you to Matt and the amazing team at SheCodes, you all have been awesome! The SheCodes workshop has been amazing. The videos are great and really easy to follow. The online chat support in slack allows you to be fully supported during the course. It also creates a great community where women can help each other. This course has really expanded my knowledge and skills, and its just the beginner course! I love SheCodes!
