I'm glad I decided to sign up for SheCodes Plus! This course challenged me (in a good way) and I learned so much over the past 8 weeks. Matt explains things really well and the other staff members are very supportive and helpful. I am excited to signup for SheCodes React!
I really enjoyed the structure of this workshop. The lessons were short and very easy to follow, with challenges after each lessons which were pretty engaging. When I have questions, the student support team was super helpful and supportive. It taught me a new and valuable skill that will be beneficial to my career, and I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone who's interested in learning new things. Thank you for the opportunity!

I really like the structure of Shecodes: bite-sized, digestible lessons; challenges after each lesson; homework each week and a big project in the end. The course is demanding, yet not less interesting and fun. Matt's instructions are really insightful and easy to understand. In only a few minutes, each lesson manages to tap into a new useful area. I really like the networking opportunities with SheCodes as well. The student support team here is also super fast, friendly and helpful. This is my first Coding Course and I highly recommend SheCodes to any rookies out there!!
I went from total zero to total hero in my first three weeks! I am floored at what I have learned and couldn’t be happier to have landed my two feet in this program! This workshop was great to start learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript! The tutorials were short and sweet and the exercises helped to apply the learnings. In addition, you get live support through the Slack Community so you are definitely not alone - I would encourage all women that have an interest in coding to give it a try, it's definitely worth it and makes a ton of fun! 🙌🏽

As a newbies in coding, the workhop was really well paced and easy to follow. I have learned a lot of stuff in a short period of time.I liked the support in Slack and all the exercises offered :)
This course was great to start learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I understood everything from this course, it is easy to follow and we always had the Slack chat for support.
I found all of the videos easy to follow and the exercises challenging without being frustrating. I appreciated how I could go at my own pace and the support that was available on Slack. I work with developers every day, and while I always knew what they do is difficult, this workshop helped me understand on a deeper level just how difficult their work is. I'm thankful to this workshop for not only giving me introductory programming skills and knowledge but also allowing me to better understand and appreciate my colleagues and their work.
The SheCodes Plus course was a great next step following the Introduction to Coding workshop. It allowed me to build on the skills learned in the introduction while challenging me to improve my coding knowledge further. The structure of the course is very easy to follow along and provides very clear demos and instructions. Having the slack channel for when I got stuck was also super helpful! The SheCodes Plus course was a great addition to the Introduction to Coding part. It challenged me on a daily basis and motived me to keep going on and learn more. The structure of the course made it possible to pick up skills and work in a framework that I have never imagined to be able to do before! :) And when I was struggling with the challenges, it was comforting to know that I have support, should I need it. I especially like SheCodes, because Matt is always keeping it real and the platform itself is very intuitive. Shecodes has been so informative and easy to follow. The lessons are bitesize yet full of substance. With a very busy lifestyle, I was still able to fit the course into my life, even doing extra hours just getting lost in the possibilities of code. Lots of support and a great community to be a part of.
So far very good! There is so many different online choices but this makes a difference: workshop way of working (with homework, deadline and homeworks to submit) and possibility to have support from the SheCode team if you have some issues (kind of mentoring on demand). Continue offer great product & service! Small future suggestion: as some videos were done in the past, update new info/changes eg. What is the difference between JavaScript 6 and the newest one.

Learning to code for the first time ever from scratch is a very intimidating thing. However, Matt and the support team provide such simple teaching and great knowledge to get you through the course. I never realized how much I love coding until now. I am excited to take coding to the next level and apply it to my career!

I have thoroughly enjoyed doing the 3 week introduction to coding, I feel confident to adjust and upgrade my sites and business with the skills I have learnt. I am dyslexic so thought it maybe to difficult follow and read the code however Matt explained everything clear and concisely so it was fast to pick up and put in to practice. Thank you so much for introducing me to something I think I have fallen for ! The constant support from the team was also wonderful so thank you all!!

I always thought of coding as part of an elite, something that was so far outside my grasp. However, it has always been something that has really triggered an interest within me. But my main problem was not knowing how or where to begin, and that's when I came across SheCodes, a course that provides with all the tools and help you need to get started. Without a doubt, I signed up for my first 3 week workshop, and I was not disappointed! I have now changed career course and would love to explore the coding world even more! With the help and support from SheCodes, nothing is outside my grasp. I want to thank the SheCodes team for the support network they have set up for all of their students, and how they have enabled and opened up a world I didn't think "was meant for me".
Easy to follow lessons and very useful support on the Slack channel as the challenges got more difficult. I'm looking forward to starting the React workshop - I never thought I'd learn so much from this course! Would definitely recommend to a friend!

This course is wonderful, you overcome the fear of coding in a very practical and didactic way. The teacher's explanations are excellent and at a pace that neither bores nor loses you. The support in the chat is also constant and very friendly. Without a doubt, a good choice that I would recommend to my friends.
If you are looking to venture into the world of coding, this is a highly recommended workshop. Over three weeks you learn a tremendous amount of information about HTML, CSS, and Javascript. The SheCodes platform was user-friendly and it created a great learning environment that challenged me to get out of my comfort zone. An added bonus, is being in a community of like-minded individuals which was supportive and uplifting. The instructor and staff are knowledgeable and are quick to provide assistance when you are stuck. Overall, it was a great experience!
I highly recommend this coding workshop even to people who don't have any basic HTML or CSS knowledge. It's easy to follow and there is a lot of support!
My SheCodes adventure has been a fun & delightful one. Like all good things, It has now come to an end, but i will hopefully keep in touch with the team & fellow students through Slack. I thoroughly enjoyed discovering & gaining some basic skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript & React. It will help me continue to learn on my own, but i'm not ready to apply for a development job yet. Skills would need to be further developed & honed for me to feel confident enough to hold a position in this field. ~ I'm grateful to Matt for the clarity & practicality of his lessons very suitable for beginners, & i also would like to give a special shout-out to João who's always been so quick to answer my questions & help me figure out what's wrong every time i had an issue with my challenges or projects. Thank you also to Daniela for checking on me on a regular basis & for her kind messages of support. I had tons of fun. Yes, there’s definitely some frustrating times but all the support you get from the community and Matt alike, just gets you going! I knew zero to zilch about Code and now I feel like a competent ninja, inspecting different websites to identify what we learn throughout the workshop. It’s a great place to start if you want to figure out if you’ll like coding or not, and venture this vast world. I’ll be upgrading soon and I absolutely recommend it to anyone.

I'm glad I've chosen to join the team SheCodes for learning web-programming online. It has been fun, interesting, challenging and engaging. Everything in this workshop is just perfect organized. SheCodes has been an amazing learning experience from start to finish. When I discovered this workshop, I was directly attracted to it and I have absolutely no regrets. This workshop is very well done. Because of my background, I knew "more scientific" programming languages, but here I was able to discover a whole other side of computer programming. Loved the easy to follow bite-size lessons which I could fit comfortably around work and family. The assignments were challenging at times (in a good way) but the support from the other ladies in the group was great.
I enjoyed every second of Matt's lessons. Coding used to be super scary to me. I never thought I would be creating and understanding code. The most amazing thing is becoming part of this community of women empowered to enter the world of coding and supporting other women get there as well.
Amazing course, I have thoroughly enjoyed doing all of the workshops and will definitely continue to learn coding! Hi! I had no coding experience prior to SheCodes and I got surprised how much I could learn about it! I always thought coding is super difficult, but thanks to Matt's didactics I was able to build my first website! I've tried so so many courses to try to get into coding and ended up quitting everyone of them. I have always been interested in coding. However, I also thought that it is kind of a mystery and hardly possible to learn without sacrificing years to it. Well, then my friend mentioned SheCodes and all my prejudices fell while watching the free class. These three weeks were so much fun and informative. Matt´`s instructions and the material provided alongside the workshop were very clear and helpful. This paired with the communication on Slack and the support by the SheCodes made the workshop so enjoyable. I am very happy to have joined. 🤩☺
Being a complete beginner in coding, I found this workshop easy to follow. Matt explains everyting in a comprehensive and interactive way. The React course was a great overview to learn about this JavaScript library. I understand now the logics and feel ready to jump in a more advanced challenge, adding more languages to my toolbox and levelling up everything I learned these past months with SheCodes! Matt has a very practical way to teach things, and the support on the Slack channel has always been on top!
SheCodes gives a great opportunity to achieve new skills! I faced a lot of challenges throughout the course - some easier some tougher, but that was not an obstacle because they provide an on-line support for all the coders. Highly recommend those classes!

Learning to code has never been so fun! I was an absolute illiterate in coding but thanks to the simple, easy-to-follow video tutorials and online support I was able to get through the workshop with success. It's a coding course for everyone! Whatever level or ability it is so easy to follow and gives you such confidence after every successful challenge completed. This is also such a relevant skills and to learn at home in your own time with support through the online chat, is perfect.

I joined the free class and I loved it! It seemed to be built in a more accessible way than other programs. I found that I was able to truly gain a solid coding foundation with SheCodes! Matt’s instruction had documentation, videos and we had all the support needed by using Slack where we could get all of our questions answered. If I had to go back in time and the opportunity to choose from a course to learn to code I would not hesitate in choosing SheCodes again. Both Matt and the team deserve recognition for their great work in creating this course!
I thoroughly enjoyed my SheCodes experience. Matt is a fantastic instructor, who I couldn't recommend enough; the way he takes you through the code step by step makes the general learning experience seem easy. Throughout the course you feel like you have plenty of support, Lexi checks in regularly and then there's the Slack chat, where you can go if you hit a sticking point. I can't believe it's over. I plan to continue learning with the end goal of changing my career
The course is very well-structured, Matt explains everything in a very clear (and fun) way. I found every homework very challenging: you have really to think about solutions and possibilities. I love learning by doing and this is the only useful way to learn for me. I am working as an Email Marketing manager, but I’ve never attended a proper coding course before this. This coding workshop could be beneficial for all digital marketers out there (I've already recommended to some colleagues of mine). Also, it’s possible to follow the classes in a very independent way and, at the same time, working full time. Last, but not least: thanks to Daniela and Lexi for their support!

This course was amazing and definitely worth the money! I found it so useful for providing me with a helpful structure and good foundation for beginning my journey on learning how to code. I really felt that I progressed much faster as a result of this course than I might have done through pure self-directed study. This was a great and rewarding experience I would really recommend to anyone curious about coding. I was a total beginner and a little sceptical about the claims that this course can kick start a career as an actual coder. However, I feel it's a really effective foundation and there are lots of really useful tips on resources that I would not be able to get from anywhere else given I don't work within tech nor know any developer and internet is so full of information, this really strips it down to what you ACTUALLY need to know. I definitely have more to learn, but it's really fulfilling, fun and you get all the support to achieve a lot in a very short time. I did this course so that I can look back to 2020 and feel I've achieved something, and I can happily say this has definitely delivered on that ambition :)

Matt Delac is an ampathy and well-organised teacher. He knows how to teach those who have zero knowledge about coding. I really enjoy his step by step lessons. To hit each challences is also good motivated. I feel so pround of myself! All credit to Matt. The team at the slack program also help me feel warm welcome and sure that I always have support from them whenever I needed.
I found SheCodes Plus to be a great course. It's a similar set out to SheCodes Workshop, just with a bit more content! Thanks so much again to Matt for the brilliant, straight-to-the-point videos that continue to inspire me to learn more, and to Joao and Daniella for their amazingly consistent support on the Slack chat.
It was a very difficult and challenging time, but the SheCodes Plus Workshop course pushed me more than ever before to keep going and to not give up in my coding journey. In several weeks I was able to learn so much more about vanilla JavaScript with the supportive team at SheCodes than I could ever have done learning just by myself. Even though my final weather app project is quite basic, I tried my hardest and best with what I could manage now, and again I'm so very glad and thankful I didn't give up. I especially love the fact that we will always have access to course materials, videos, and the Slack group even after graduating the workshop, so I am going to look over the course again and again to solidify my knowledge. I look forward to improving my skills greatly in the next workshop (SheCodes Plus React)!

The structure of the workshop was great for someone who hasn't have much experience with HTML/CSS or JavaScript and having the learning content in bite-sized chunks made it so much easier and engaging for me. I would definitely recommend this course and I hope to continue when I come back for SheCodes Plus! I have really enjoyed the SheCodes courses and would recommend them to anyone wanting to learn to code! As someone with no prior knowledge of coding I feel I have learnt a lot - the tutorials are informative and broken down into manageable segments which prevent the feeling of being overloaded by new concepts. I have always felt supported during my time on the course and would encourage anyone to give it a go!
This was the first time I've ever coded anything, EVER! SheCodes makes it so easy to learn though. I especially appreciated the real time support. My favorite part is that I can do this at home on my own time, however and whenever I choose. Most classes I've seen offered have set times & require participation in live classes, even online. This worked much better for my lifestyle & schedule. This was a great way to introduce me to coding, I can't wait to learn more!

Three weeks ago I knew nothing about coding, and now I've created my own landing page. 😎 The SheCodes lessons were clear and easy to follow. Homework and weekly challenges were scaffolded and helpful, and I appreciated receiving fast and reliable support-- not to mention connecting with women all over the world via slack! I had a lot of fun building my final project and will be back for another workshop soon. 👩🏼💻

Perfect for everyone! As an industrial designer I was very new into coding, but the course was very well explained, the support from SheCodes staff was always nice, and overall I am very confident into continuing with this path.

I started this workshop with 0 knowledge of coding and programming but after doing this Workshop I am so much more comfortable with it and what it entails. I loved that this course truly was for beginners, the classes were bitesize which made it easier to fit in, the community was super supportive and Matt was just brilliant as a teacher!
