I have truly enjoyed the SheCodes community, workshop, and assignments. Each week I've been gaining more and more confidence. Being able to see the results of my work was inspiring and motivating to learn more and explore the world of coding. When I started working in the IT industry, I didn't feel like I belonged there. After the SheCodes workshop, I want to continue developing my skills and explore new avenues of my career. Big thank you to Matt, the team, and all wonderful women supporting me along the way!
When I started SheCodes Workshops, I was unemployed and had quite low confidence in my professional abilities. However, I decided to give coding a try seeing as I had time on my hands and it seemed to be such a coveted skill. Since starting, I have found a new job and I have put these coding skills to use in making a database for my team. Thank you SheCodes - your high quality classes, supportive mentoring and content structure has helped me a lot. I would recommend to all.
A great journey that I had in SheCodes! I finished my final project in React and I really loved it! I had zero knowledge in coding but thanks to SheCodes, now I have knowledge in coding. Coding is not easy indeed, although with the right classes, exercises and chat support will make it easy and SheCodes has those qualities. I highly recommend SheCodes because Coding is and will be the future in our world.

I've absolutely loved studying this workshop and never thought coding would be as fun as it has been. The format is excellent & the balance of supporting but also encouraging me to find out the answers on my own has helped me learned a lot in a short time. I'll be booking a space on SheCodes Plus React, asap.
The React course was definitely a lot more difficult than the other SheCodes workshops. Matt always does a great job of explaining everything as simply as possible, but I definitely still struggled a bit to conceptualize React. I had to do some more outside studying to help understand the context and how to best make React work in my project. I also felt like with this course, sometimes it was better to watch several videos at a time before making changes, instead of adding changes for each video, as sometimes something would "click" better after seeing the connections between several steps/concepts. All in all, SheCodes React was by far the most challenging, and frustrating at times, but not impossible with determination and with the Slack community support.
Another fantastic workshop led by a great teacher! The final project has given me great insight on Javascript, React and API's. SheCodes is not your typical coding/web development course - you have to come up with solutions and not just copy and paste code. When you are really stuck there is great level of support on Slack.
It was great fun completing SheCodes workshop. Matt is a great instructor that explains everything in a concise and understandable way and the support on Slack is quick and efficient if you ever get stuck. Would highly recommend it to anyone who's interested in codding, because it's a good foundation to understand what's going on. I can't wait to continue with the SheCodes Plus!
I started to learn coding by myself, which was sometimes not very motivating, specially when I had thousands of questions. When I joined SheCodes, I started to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Matt's explanations and examples are super clear, and the community and the SheCodes technical support is a big plus. I am very grateful that I joined and I can only encourage every woman, who has an interest in coding (no matter your background) You can do it!
Each assignment increased in difficulty, as it should, but the SheCodes staff was extremely supportive throughout the process. They don't just give answers but tries to help you narrow your focus, so you can identify and fix your own errors.
The course was amazing for beginners: an intuitive setup with great, short and easy understandable videos to learn all essential basics of coding combined with hands-on tasks and projects and a very logical and useful program structure. I loved that I could do everything at my own pace and was still motivated with the fixed deadlines and could get support whenever needed.
So far this was the best programming experience related to front-end development. Matt is an amazing teacher, the videos are well made and very well explained. The support that we receive on slack is good and I was happy that I also could help another students with doubts. I'm excited to finish this workshop, to add this project to my portofolio for future references and also excited to join the last workshop: React. Thank you all for your efforts in teaching us the joys of frontal-end development. :)
SheCode is the extraordinary course where anything can be possible. I never imagined I could create a weather app! The work team is fantastic: the video lessons held by Matt are super precise and easy going, Joao gives an answer to every doubt, (thanks for always being ready to help!) and Daniela with her support was also really great! I'm ready for the third part, I hope it's just as interesting as the previous ones. I recommend everyone to try, you will not be disappointed!
I had so much fun with SheCodes Plus and I'm so proud of my weather app! Thumbs up for the great content organization during the course, as well the support on Slack! It really gave me the foundations and for sure the curiosity to develop some extra projects and explore even more this amazing coding world! :)
This has been a really fun and challenging course - I've absolutely loved learning new things each week (and it's amazing how much is in each lesson)! The help and support from the staff is amazing, and it's great being able to see what other classmates are creating. So happy I did SheCodes Plus!
I'm so glad I took a chance and did the first tier of workshops with SheCodes. It was a great way to learn as a semi-beginner in coding and it allowed me to add on to what I already knew slowly while learning new things. I'm considering taking the classes all the way to SheCodes Plus React in hopes of pivoting my career! Matt is a great instructor and having the slack channel as support was very helpful. I also liked that the courses are fluid enough to let you figure out solutions on your own. I appreciated that each lesson is bite-sized and the timing worked very well with my schedule and full-time job.
Bootstrap, API integration or DevOps workflow are some of the features that I have learned in this SheCodes Plus. After this challenging weeks, I have finished my Weather App with proud!! All the support team are always ready to give us a crucial hint!!
The most wonderful coding workshop! I attended one of the free workshops and decided I wanted to progress further. The broken down lessons were clear to understand and the challenges ensured you knew and understood what you had just learnt. Honestly would recommend to anyone I know and I hope to carry on further with the advanced workshops at a later date. The slack platform was very helpful and allowed peers to help and support each other as well as the key staff on hand to help. Can't thank you all enough! 💜
I would always recommend the SheCodes workshops. Even if I'm not an English native speaker or had any previous knowledge in coding, the lessons were understandable and easy to follow. The instructor Matt does a really good job! And if you need further support with your code, the slack community is awesome and helps you out. Well, at some points the SheCodes Plus workshop made me cry, desperate and hopeless. But at the end of each lesson and every challenge I was just happy and so excited to make the codes working and I'm looking forward to the next workshop!
Great course and great instructor! Matt Delac makes each concept easy to understand, and the challenges help retain the information in a more hands-on way. And although completely online, you will always have the resources, and support from the SheCodes team. Definitely recommend this course!
Highly recommended to anyone wishing to learn some basics on coding or anyone looking for a refresher. I've tried to teach myself some coding before, but it's different having someone to teach you and knowing that you have support when you get stuck on something. What I love about SheCodes is that it's more practical and doesn't give too much emphasis on theories. From working in a tech company, what you need more is the practical application and not the theories. I really enjoyed this workshop, and so I'd definitely recommend it!
SheCodes Plus gave me a really complete overview of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. By understanding the fundamental rules and concepts, I am now able to come up with ideas of my own. The classes were very clear and I received very reliable support on Slack!

Coding and things like bootstrap or GitHub can be very overwhelming at first but Matt does an amazing job in teaching the learnings very well with an effective mix of theoretical, explanatory videos and practical exercises. Besides, I always felt very supported by the SheCodes Team in case of questions or doubts. So happy having found SheCodes and completed two of their workshops already!! :-)
Wanting to learn to code from scratch can feel very overwhelming with hundreds of different courses available online, so I'm really glad I found SheCodes! Matt is a great teacher, the lessons are engaging and easy to follow, and the community of women coding alongside you feels like a real support network. The beginner course SheCodes is great for those they have no clue what is programming about. It was good they have homeworks, deadlines, a final project. Big support on Slack. Their videos are very helpful and easy to understand. I am happy for stepping into this new world online.

SheCodes is the best investment I have made in my own personal development. It is a really relevant and engaging topic. The training modules have been built in a way that makes coding super enjoyable! The step between each module on the Plus course can be challenging at times but they are manageable and there is a tonne of support and guidance available from the SheCodes team. Special mention for João from the SheCodes team, who was incredibly helpful when I found myself stuck a few times throughout the course!

Matt's instruction is easy to understand and follow, I was intrigued by this on the free workshop and registered on the same day. However, without the support from the technical consultant, his name is Jaoz, in SlackChat, my motivation bubble would have deflated tremendously. Nothing is more depressed than when you wanted to venture out to things that is not introduced yet and got stuck there in your own mess and no one but you shed any lights onto how to untangle it.
I have definitely enjoyed the extra 6 weeks working with React app. I am sure I will continue on this exciting path that SheCodes has opened for me. Thank you so much for your continue support.
This course was amazing! I loved the workshop with SheCodes. Even though they provide you with a lot of material and resources they also challenge you each week. I never thought learning code would be so fun...not easy though! Matt explains everything but you really need to commit. If you have a full time job as I, you may need to plan ahead. But for real the structure, the content and the homework is to the point, not to mention the exceptional support in Slack app. Thumbs up! 😁
I will say this again, shecodes is a fantastic course. There is nothing quite like it. I have taken many coding courses in the past for school and none of them were as fun or effective as shecodes. I highly recommend shecodes for anyone who is interested to learn. Shecodes is very easy to learn, has great support and overall is really fun.

I loved SheCodes, and the whole journey from the beginner workshop to the final React workshop. It was challenging but broken down into manageable pieces, and the support available from the SheCodes team was so valuable.

I started the course with a little knowledge, but I learned in three weeks a lot of things about HTML, CSS and JS. The course was very simple and easy to understand. My SheCodes experience so far has been fantastic. It's the perfect mix of challenging, interesting and very well structured. Before SheCodes, I had tried to self teach myself Python several times, however I could never progress very far and I think the main reason is because I didn't have access to a community that supported one another nor a structured lesson plan to learn the concepts thoroughly. The SheCodes experience is well worth all the hard work and you're bound to find something you like about it. 100% recommend this program!
SheCodes has been a great experience! I just completed the Workshop and am very excited to continue on in the Plus curriculum. I had very little experience in HTML and no experience in CSS or JavaScript when I registered for SheCodes, and now I feel confident in all three! Also, having a platform made up of all women has been super supportive & encouraging especially with tech being a male-dominant industry. If you're looking for a career change, or just want to learn more about coding, there's a workshop for all learners!
I absolutely loved this bootcamp! The workshops were simple and easy to follow. Other bootcamps make coding seem hard and daunting, but Matt does a fantastic job of breaking down the concepts and the logic! The slack group is also great as everyone is willing to help and support you. 100/10 would recommend!!
I honestly am shocked. I took this course as an Operations Manager for a start up. I manage one tech teammate and I remember her inspecting pages and finding errors almost immediately. I just got tired of feeling like I was managing someone whose work I didn't understand and I wanted to become someone who she could go to for support. I looked at code today at work in our email marketing and what used to be SO scary to click was now total cake and made sense. I can't wait to take the next level in SheCodes. It's so fulfilling and Matt and his support team are unmatched. I also made friends and I am a TOTAL introvert. I'm so proud of myself.

Learning about vanilla JavaScript has finally demystified the "complexities". Before this course, I was very confused about how JavaScript worked. I knew that it is incredibly powerful and in fact powered most of the internet or websites. But I just didn't how it worked. This course gave me the wonderful gift of finally understanding and loving JavaScript and having a ton of fun with it. I finally understand that it is a language of functions and you create those functions to bring features to life. And incredibly so, learning JavaScript empowers you in understand other languages as well. It's truly incredible. Once again thank you to the whole SheCodes Team and Matt for this wonderful journey and all their support. It truly wouldn't have been possible without all their help, understanding, and passion for their incredible impact on the tech industry and on women's education. Proud to be a SheCoder! 😉💖

Very good. Whilst I appreciate that React is comprehensive and this course certainly teaches you a lot, and I'm sure certainly covers the basics, there were many times during the development of the App through the teaching that other aspects of React were alluded to but were not fully covered or explained. I only wish these were elaborated upon. Otherwise, a fantastic course with a great online support team and brilliant intructional videos made by Matt.
I consider SheCodes as the most powerful teaching platform. Matt customized the course material while putting himself into our shoes and this was the main reason I could manage to complete the course. (I started from Workshop, took Plus course, and this was the most challenging one.) Matt can teach very complicated information into a simple but sophisticated way and thanks to him I could carry on my interest in coding and motivation to learn more towards all the way down to the end of this course. I would like to recognize countless and continuous supports that I got through Slack group chat platform. While observing other peer students` success such as completing weekly tasks (exercise or projects), I gained positive vibes from those who already moved to the next stage and I tried again with never-give-up spirits. Programming is a combination of simple coding. Human created programming to control (or perhaps communicate with) the machine in a simpler way. While celebrating the completion of SheCodes React course, I would like to consider SheCodes as the well-structured stepping stone that I can always refer to. Last but not least, I would like to show my appreciation to Matt who kindly followed his value, inspired by his mom, sharing the professional knowledge to empower women on the IT field. Even though I did not have much interaction with peer students who are located all over the world, I do consider the feeling of the solidarity with them. It would be interesting to have an interaction with alumni by having a reunion or graduates` association to check how alumni are doing after the graduation. Matt`s core passion and his power of execution motivated me to take step forward my own version of contribution to the world. Thank you SheCodes staffs, Matt, Joao, Sara!

I am beyond happy I took courage and did this workshop. I was nervous because I didn't have any previous experience in computers or programming but Matt's way of teaching step by step was perfect for me. I'm a stay at home mom with three girls (8, 5, 2 years old) and the fact that I could do all the classes and challenges on my own time really helped a lot. From beautician to front-end developer!!! A year ago I couldn't imagine changing my career, but the pandemic pushed me to evaluate my current position. It was the best decision I've ever made. SheCodes course was exactly something I was looking for to accelerate into a different industry. I am currently working in the Sales Department at a Tech company and I signed up for SheCodes as a way to up-skill and broaden my technical knowledge. I started as a beginner since all the knowledge that I had was based on my MySpace HTML time, from about 15 years ago 🙂 The workshop is easy to follow and the challenges and homework fun to solve. SheCodes comes with a great community of other women interested in coding that you can connect and interact with via Slack 👩🏼💻👩🏽💻👩🏿💻and support is always available too! The past 3 weeks have been so insightful and I am looking forward to SheCodes Plus!

It was a hard workshop, but I was able to add lots of knowledge to my basics. Thanks to sheCodes support, which helped me through the rough times, I was able to build a nice app.
SheCodes is a great opportunity to dive deep into coding for beginners. I like detailed explanations from Matt, online support on Slack. It's a great, friendly community which helps you to discover new skills. I'm very grateful for this course and i'm definitely going to continue it all the way to React! See you there! <3 Thank you!
SheCodes made learning how to code fun and provided great support throughout the journey. Definitely recommended for everyone who likes to learn at their own pace!
Shecodes Plus is a difficult workshop, since it is available for beginners, I think it should include more support to improve the learning experience. All in all, very good tools to learn, but difficult for students starting in the coding world.
SheCodes was a fantastic way of learning coding for anyone of any skill sets. I loved how collaborative and supportive the program was. The shift between watching videos and actively coding was so helpful and effective. I can't wait to take my next SheCodes workshop soon!
So worth it! It can be difficult at times, but the support you can get along the way is great. SheCodes gave me all the right steps and guidance on how to get started and create a project I'm really proud of. I would recommend it to anyone!

I am finding this a good way to learn. I like the video, followed by challenges approach. I also like that we have to do some research as we go along. I feel it makes it more real world. The feedback and support is wonderful. I am happy to continue and have enjoyed it thus far.
