I really enjoyed this course. It built on what I learnt in the SheCodes Plus course, and I really feel it's expanded my skillset and improved my future career prospects. Matt's videos are easy to follow and he clearly wants the people who take these courses to come away with a professional and transferable skillset.
SheCodes Plus has been challenging but Matt, as always, manages to explain the concepts so clearly. And if you still don't understand, they also give you code snippets and links that'll help you further understand. I love how he always slowly builds into it, and it makes sense to learn in that order. The little steps that you sometimes think are tedious will make you understand the bigger picture! I enjoyed it!
I have completed other programs before but I didn't gain the self confidence I needed to apply what I learned into building projects. After completing SheCodes plus, I gained so much confidence in myself and my ability to code. What I struggled with before, was creating functions and know where and how to call them, after building the weather app with SheCodes(I created so many functions) that they are now my best friend (lol). I now look forward to creating projects to add to my portfolio all thanks to SheCodes Plus!

SheCodes Responsive has taught me all of the things that I wished I could have done with my projects from SheCodes Basic and especially SheCodes Plus. I recognise there are other workshops that could, no doubt, teach the same content, however, the means in which SheCodes delivers this program of learning is effective for how I learn. The delivery of a lesson, followed by a challenge with a marked result and a solution provides the learning examples for me to properly understand. One of my favourite things about SheCodes is that even Matt struggles to get code to work for him sometimes, and he is a professional developer. This gives me confidence in my own ability (as it shows anyone can make a mistake, regardless of how advanced they are) and I appreciate that Matt could have gone on to re-record these lessons but instead shows us how he fathoms out these issues. Overall, SheCodes Responsive has certainly been a great learning experience and I look forward to undertaking React as well as the further 'add-on' projects 🥳

Following on from SheCodes Basic, I was ready for another challenge. Making the Vanilla Weather App with SheCodes Plus has been challenging but I've been able to use the support system on SheCodes Slack to assess any problems I couldn't figure out by myself and I am really proud of my Weather App!
I've really enjoyed the SheCodes Plus workshop. Mattheau is really good at explaining everything and has a great logic on how to introduce and relate each topic in a way that it all makes sense and is easy to understand. The workshop is well paced and structured. I work a full time job but still I was able to complete the SheCodes Plus in less than 5 weeks. SheCodes Plus was so fun! I was so stoked to have created my very own live website! There were a couple times where I didn't understand the JavaScript, but rewatching the videos helped so much! Matt really explains the JavaScript thought process so well & he's not super technical with his explanation so anyone can understand him. I like how he mentions the common mistakes & he vocalizes his thought process even when the coding goes wrong - it reassuring. 😅 hehe. SheCodes Plus required more time, patience, and dedication than the first course that I took in SheCodes. It was all worth it. It is a completely different area for me, and the older I get, the harder it is to acquire new knowledge. Trying to balance all the things that life demands and your mental health can be a difficult challenge. I had to postpone a few times, but in the end, it all worked out. I love the way Matt explains it because it's clear, it makes sense and the lessons are straight to the point. It feels like you are talking to a very nice friend. It's also important to mention that he teaches how to investigate the problem when something is not working. I will do other courses in SheCodes. I expect to get better, learn more things, and improve my knowledge. I highly recommend SheCodes.
A step up from SheCodes Basics, SheCodes Plus builds up on what I've learnt and exposes one to building your own site and publishing it. The use of APIs, Netlify and new knowledge in terms of JavaScript is eye-opening and allows one to explore their creative side. Loved it!

Hey guys! I just completed my first foundation project based on Bangtan Sonyeondan, my favourite boy band. It was a bit trick, however, the lessons from Matt helped me complete this project by combining my two of my favorite interests. Looking forward to continue with the SheCodes Plus.
I enjoyed every moment of this course. I am not the most computer literate person, so as basic as the course may seem, it was fairly challenging for someone like me. However, I was dedicated and committed to pushing through. I am confident that has been a valuable means of expanding my skill set and I cannot wait to begin the SheCodes Plus Workshop.
SheCodes Plus definitely was a challenge in comparison to the previous course. I enjoyed it though! I am learning so much and I know I wouldn't have been disciplined enough to get this far on my own. As usual, it is also important to point out that it's always appreciated that Matt takes you step by step along the lessons, otherwise, those who are very new to coding (like myself) may lose their footing. I enjoyed coding with SheCodes! That's just it. I had loads of fun, some tears too because there were times my code wouldn't work and I'd be frustrated but soon, I'd be laughing through my tears at the silly mistake. I started the SheCodes Plus with so much euphoria and enthusiasm. Unlike the Basic, Plus proved to be more challenging, which is as it should be of course. I was suddenly struggling to meet deadlines since I also had a lot going on for me during the period. At some point, I was discouraged honestly. But I have a great Instructor! Along with his patient explanations, he kept encouraging. I'm grateful. The best of it is the team! Thank you SheCodes team! Even if we have hundred questions a day, you are ever ready to give fast replies. Even when it's a little mistake we couldn't see in our frenzy, you are very patient with us and ready to show us where we missed it. Please, do not stop at Basic so you don't miss out on all the fun. I chose SheCodes, or she chose me and I don't regret a minute of it. You wouldn't either!

l learned a lot on Shecodes Plus ,how to implement API's and how to deploy our codes on Netlify. Although l had challenges along the way , l always got help from Slack from the team .
I really enjoyed SheCodes Plus and feel like I learned a lot. It was exciting and challenging because you aren't just spoon-fed the answers to problems; the tasks require a lot of independent thinking.
Another fantastic course. I'm really building on all the knowledge I gained in SheCodes Basic and SheCodes Plus. So proud of my final project!

SheCodes Plus was a great addition to furthering my skills in web design! It is a bit more challenging but the lessons are well thought out and Matt takes the time to make sure everything is well understood.

This workshop increased my level of thinking as it relates to coding and it pushed me to do my best. There were challenges but I overcame them. I couldn't have done it without Matt and his team. Matt is an awesome teacher and the team on slack is just as good as they answered all my questions in a timely manner whenever I was unsure about something. SheCodes Plus is definitely worth it and I would 100% recommend it. It was fun! I am looking forward to what the future brings 😀
I wanted to try SheCodes to learn something new for quite a while! It is very well taught with clear stepping stone lessons and has lots of resources to help me explore and gain more knowledge of coding. I'm looking forward to taking SheCodes Plus very soon - 10/10!
