I took SheCodes Plus right after the first SheCodes workshop and really loved it. SheCodes was my first exposure to coding and it was fun to learn this new, challenging skill! As someone who was a complete beginner I couldn't recommend it more.
I am currently working in the Sales Department at a Tech company and I signed up for SheCodes as a way to up-skill and broaden my technical knowledge. I started as a beginner since all the knowledge that I had was based on my MySpace HTML time, from about 15 years ago π The workshop is easy to follow and the challenges and homework fun to solve. SheCodes comes with a great community of other women interested in coding that you can connect and interact with via Slack π©πΌβπ»π©π½βπ»π©πΏβπ»and support is always available too! The past 3 weeks have been so insightful and I am looking forward to SheCodes Plus!
Shecodes Plus is a difficult workshop, since it is available for beginners, I think it should include more support to improve the learning experience. All in all, very good tools to learn, but difficult for students starting in the coding world.
I would highly recommend SheCodes Plus to anyone who wants to get an advanced understanding of JavaScript, CSS and HTML! Great overall experience. :)
I never imagined that I can code! This course was well explained, very interesting and I enjoyed every bit of it! I don't think I am going to stop here. SheCodes Plus here I come!
SheCodes Plus was a real challenge for me after completing the SheCodes intro workshop (no surprise there, we did dive into Javascript functions! π€―). As someone who has never written a line of code before taking these SheCodes workshops, I am proud of myself for finishing this course with a functional project to show for it.β£ β£ What I liked most about SheCodes is that it allowed me to move at my own pace. I hit some road blocks, not fully understanding certain concepts as they got more advanced and wishing I had more time to process the information. The team at SheCodes was gracious about deadlines, giving me the time I needed to complete my work, and whenever I got stuck, I was able to post in the Slack channel for help. β£ The moment when things started to click for me while working on my project, I felt so empowered and capable. I'm inspired to continue learning and to see where this road may lead me!
I would really recommend this three-week workshop of SheCodes!! Matt's way of teaching is very efficient and simple so it is very easy to understand and put what you learned into action. The homework helps you put into practice what you just learned, which is great since you learn best by doing. By the time I reached my final project, I felt much more confident imagining what I wanted my page to look like and what I had to code to achieve it! It has been very fun to learn front-end coding π€. I am looking forward to continue this experience and start SheCodes Plus! π©πΌβπ»
SheCodes Plus is a great course to learn about Front End Web Development.
SheCodes Plus is challenging and so rewarding. It digs deeper into more complex JavaScript functions, which is great experience. Matt also walks you through DevOps and how to use GitHub (commit, commit, commit!) and Netlify - all of which I believe are important to know if you want to familiarise yourself with web developer work flows. I enjoyed this course and am going on to do SheCodes React.
SheCodes is a great program to start learning HTML, CSS, and Javascript. The instructor, Matt, is easy to understand and does a great job explaining all of the new concepts. After each lesson, you complete a challenge and practice coding. The projects are fun and really test your knowledge of the material. I am happy so far and can't wait to continue with SheCodes plus!
Just like the first online workshop, SheCodes Plus was very well taught! Again, Matt breaks everything down into bitesize pieces, and is very encouraging. I now feel much more comfortable trying to work on my own projects, with a better context of how everything connects together. I am excited for SheCodes React!
I'm glad I decided to sign up for SheCodes Plus! This course challenged me (in a good way) and I learned so much over the past 8 weeks. Matt explains things really well and the other staff members are very supportive and helpful. I am excited to signup for SheCodes React!
SheCodes has been first proper introduction to coding, I can't believe I've already come to the end of SheCodes Plus! This workshop has been so insightful, although it is challenging, part of the fun of coding is to play around and figure out how to improve. Using JS to create interactive elements is a skill I've always wanted to learn and this workshop has really opened my eyes to what I can create and how to code it!
I love it ! This workshop has great concept, and it pushes you to stay on the track. It offers enough for basic coding understanding, and gives you curiosity to find out more. I definitely want to continue SheCodes Plus workshop.
The SheCodes Plus Workshop series was a challenging but uniquely rewarding experience. As a beginner to coding, the idea of building my own website from scratch extremely extremely daunting at first. However, with the current state of uncertainty that seems to loom across the world, the weekly projects gave me something tangible to look forward to each week. I also have a new appreciation for every website I go on, now that I understand the time and effort that goes into building one. If you are considering these workshops even a little, DO IT! And you'll be happy that you did.
SheCodes Plus has been a great and challenging experience. I have developed my skills from the workshop and understand front-end web development, to the point where I can confidently recreate what I see on a web page. The team at SheCodes have been so helpful on Slack, and it is great to see other students work showcased online. I am looking forward to starting SheCodes React soon, and I have even signed up to an external course to follow on from SheCodes so I can keep learning to code. π©βπ»
The SheCodes Plus course was a great next step following the Introduction to Coding workshop. It allowed me to build on the skills learned in the introduction while challenging me to improve my coding knowledge further. The structure of the course is very easy to follow along and provides very clear demos and instructions. Having the slack channel for when I got stuck was also super helpful! The SheCodes Plus course was a great addition to the Introduction to Coding part. It challenged me on a daily basis and motived me to keep going on and learn more. The structure of the course made it possible to pick up skills and work in a framework that I have never imagined to be able to do before! :) And when I was struggling with the challenges, it was comforting to know that I have support, should I need it. I especially like SheCodes, because Matt is always keeping it real and the platform itself is very intuitive. SheCodes was an amazing workshop! I will continue with SheCodes Plus in the summer. I learned a lot and found my passion for coding. The radio really got me through the assignments, and I just got lost in it all! I will continue to learn more and gain a career as a front end and back end developer!
This three-week workshop was a lot of fun. More than just tags and functions, I think I learned a mindset that will help me go further. And why not by continuing my learning with SheCodes Plus? I wouldn't want to stop on such a good path :-)

It's embarrassing but I was Java developer 10 years ago...π , and now I am on business side for my professional career. However, the background of "Tech + Business" have become my advantage. The technology is always evolving, and it is hard to catch up all the time if there is less opportunities like my current situation to leverage its skillset. Therefore, the learning through SheCodes Plus made me be up to date! It's fun more than anything else! ππ
SheCodes Plus allows you to go much deeper in your knowledge, especially with JavaScript! It was much more challenging than the workshop!

Hello World;) I would like to recommend SheCodes workshops to everyone who is interested in coding! Basic SheCodes course is a great solution for all women who would like to see a kind of a demo version of HTML,CSS and Javascript :) After 3 weeks of learning with Matt, I managed to memorize and I'm able to use basic functions of mentioned languages. It was a lot of fun, too! Matt has a natural teaching talent, lessons are well structured,a student doesn't become overwhelmed at any point of time. Thanks a lot SheCodes team. Thinking about SheCodes Plus now ...;)

These three weeks of workshop were very inspiring! I like very much coding, trying and trying until I can get a good result! It was very useful to use Slack to talk to colleagues and get help, even from Jao who is always very attentive and kind. Lessons with Matt are clear and fun :) Can't wait to start SheCodes Plus!
I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone who wants to gain an understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Matt is very good at breaking down all the lessons into easily digestible content and then slowly builds upon the previous lesson until you have a more complete understanding of these dev tools. You will get out of this what you put into it, so I recommend really pushing yourself to implement all of the tools Matt gives you in ways that he DOESN'T teach and do more than the bare minimum to produce a valid solution. I know I'm only at the beginning of my coding journey, but I'm glad to have started it here. On to SheCodes Plus! βοΈ

I used to think that coding was only for super-intelligent math wizes. Well, guess what?! Wrong! Step by step Matt showed that everybody can learn coding. An IQ of 150 or above is not required ;) I will definitely continue with SheCodes Plus React and ensure myself a future career in programming.
I'm so happy that I've decided to continue my coding journey with SheCodes. π₯° I love how the course is set up and how well everything is explained. I enrolled in SheCodes Plus after completing the Introduction to Coding Workshop. It was definitely a challenge at some points and took quite a bit of perseverance, but I completed it in the end! Little did I know about the wonderful journey I was getting started with and how mistaken I was about coding! The satisfaction that comes from completing every challenge and making your project is indescribable. With the help of Matt and his team, I learned that I wonΒ΄t feel lost along the way if I just ask for some help and persevere until I find a possible solution because there is always one. A few months ago, I didn't think someone like me with no understanding of the programming languages would know them, let alone learn how to code and play with codes! It feels like a whole lot of doors of opportunity have opened up to me. Suddenly my dreams of entering the IT industry are renewed. SheCodes Plus is an amazing workshop! I must admit that I scratched my head a lot of times when finishing my project. I am sad to leave this workshop as it had been super fun, but I am proud to say that I am finishing it off with a good amount of knowledge on coding. I received a lot of help from the staff and I couldn't be any more satisfied with this workshop.
The first SheCodes workshop was nice, but with SheCodes Plus the real fun only begins! Working on your own project throughout the workshop motivates you immensely, even with the more tricky topics. During the process, my project got a bit messy. I was really greatful that there was a repeat week at the end of the workshop where Matt showed the whole workflow again from start to finish. This way you can rebuild your project cleanly if necessary. And you can be sure that you are not alone but always get help! In short, it was challenging and fun at the same time and I can't wait to get going with React :)
SheCodes Plus has been absolutely amazing! It's allowed me to strengthen the skills learned in the initial SheCodes workshop and build on from there. I appreciate the emphasis on becoming self-sufficient coders by highlighting the available resources, while still providing the support via Slack when we're really stuck. I highly recommend the course!
I loved the Shecodes Plus workshop! From knowing nothing about javascript, html and css, to developing a WORKING weather app is something that I would have never thought I could have achieved in such a limited amount of time. I've found the SheCodes Plus course very helpful and inspiring. I've had so much fun learning more advanced features about front-end programming and getting to understand a little bit better how JS and back-end programming is about. I went into the SheCodes Workshop with minimal knowledge in HTML and CSS that I gained through my own trial and error. I was surprised at how much more there was to learn in this workshop, and how enjoyable it was - at times it was hard for me to stop working. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of SheCodes Plus and aim to continue my education in coding with SheCodes React!

I have really enjoyed the lessons so far. I had studied for a while on my own, but I was still having lots of trouble connecting the dots, and truly understanding how everything works to apply it on my own. Matt explains things in little bits - he breaks it down in a way that helps me put the dots together and truly understand how/why something works. Now, I am starting to feel more comfortable knowing how to use the code for my own creations. I am excited to start SheCodes Plus!
I cannot recommend SheCodes enough! I had been on the fence for over a year about whether or not I wanted to give coding a try, but with every other program I either could not work it into my budget, or it simply didn't feel like the right fit. Then SheCodes falls into my lap! Matt is a wonderful teacher, and I had so much fun with this particular format of learning and community, and it finally gave me back some confidence as I committed to challenging myself and learning this new skill set. I consider myself primarily right-brained, with no major natural inclination towards the technical and analytical, and this felt really stimulating and satisfying for me. If you are a creative, do not let coding scare you off! There's room for absolutely anyone who's curious enough to try it. I can't wait to jump into either SheCodes Plus or SheCodes Plus React asap! I absolutely loved this course! I highly recommend it: the lessons are short, each content is given step by step. At the end of each lesson we have the challenges, that allow us to verify in practice what we have learned in theory. Matt explains each content clearly, in an easy way to understand. I never lost my enthusiasm, instead I became more and more motivated to learn, and the proof of that is that I will be attending SheCodes PlusReact!
When I was starting the coding journey I just wanted to try if it is possible for me. It occured that yes, it is very possible, and I've got passionate about it and I continue this journey that I hope will become my new working space. This course is very synthetic, very well ordered, ilustrated and explained. Matt is doing great job and women taking part in this event create fantastic society of common motivation and help. You can count on people here to find some help when you are stuck. It was a great pleasure to go through SheCodes Plus! Plenty of chellenges, but what a satisfaction at the end. Learning React.js for the first time has been challenging but at the same time very interesting! Discovering how to make the previous weather app from the SheCodes Plus into a React application has been a good introduction on how to use this framework. I have gained more and more confidence in learning coding throughout my SheCodes journey

This was my first coding workshop that I have attended since I started my coding journey and I learned so much in the past 3 weeks of taking this course. I have no regrets about enrolling in this workshop and I'm considering in enrolling in SheCodes Plus React workshop.
SheCodes Plus was a challenging 8-week course. Highly recommended for women who want to challenge themselves and start a career in tech.
I had always been interested in coding but was worried it was too complicated and would be impossible to learn. After taking the SheCodes Introduction to Coding workshop, I decided to take SheCodes Plus to expand on the basics I'd already learned. This course was a lot more challenging (as expected), but also very rewarding. I was able to build a fully-functioning weather application that I was very happy with and even started delving into more advanced concepts to get the forecasting functionality to work. I am now considering taking the SheCodes Plus React course, and will definitely be continuing my coding journey. If you're in doubt as to whether or not this is for you, I'd say just give it a try - you might surprise yourself! Matt is a great teacher and presents everything clearly and in a logical way. Thanks Matt and the SheCodes team!

SheCodes Plus has been instrumental in my coding development. The pragmatic structure of the tutorials and tasks has meant my learning has always been practical, and not focused purely on theory. The course has encouraged a lot of independence and sharpened my research skills as everything is not handed to me on the plate, meaning when faced with a problem with my code, I have to search for answers just as a developer would. Now I have a good grasp of Vanilla Java Script I am looking forward to utilising this using the React framework in order to build more cool and exciting projects.

Easy-to-understand lessons in a slow enough pace but with good challenges, that will make you research some things on your own as well as let you be creative. Very sympathetic design and examples. SheCodes Plus provided a rigorous and immersive 6-week advanced coding workshop that finely crafted and sharped skills learned in the previous 4-week course. Each lesson equipped us with the skills to complete the challenging daily assignments and weekly projects and was exciting applying what I learned in the lessons to create my own functioning weather application. I am very excited to continue my coding journey in the next React course!

It was a very difficult and challenging time, but the SheCodes Plus Workshop course pushed me more than ever before to keep going and to not give up in my coding journey. In several weeks I was able to learn so much more about vanilla JavaScript with the supportive team at SheCodes than I could ever have done learning just by myself. Even though my final weather app project is quite basic, I tried my hardest and best with what I could manage now, and again I'm so very glad and thankful I didn't give up. I especially love the fact that we will always have access to course materials, videos, and the Slack group even after graduating the workshop, so I am going to look over the course again and again to solidify my knowledge. I look forward to improving my skills greatly in the next workshop (SheCodes Plus React)!
What a great 3 weeks it has been! I have enjoyed every bit of it. Actually, I'm gutted it is over! The structure of the workshop was great for someone who hasn't have much experience with HTML/CSS or JavaScript and having the learning content in bite-sized chunks made it so much easier and engaging for me. I would definitely recommend this course and I hope to continue when I come back for SheCodes Plus! It has been quite a journey. When i enrolled in the SheCodes Workshop i was extremely satisfied with Matt's teaching techniques and precision. So i decided to also enrol in the SheCodes Plus program as well as SheCodes React. I have learned and practiced and lot throughout these months and it has paid off. Once again Matt presents us with an easy-going type of teaching even though learning react is no easy task. Matt made it very easy to understand and the slack chat was very helpful as well. Learning React has been incredibly challenging, but the way the course is broken down into small sections really helped with putting all the pieces together. I learnt new techniques whilst using all the other skills I learnt from the SheCodes workshop and SheCodes Plus which meant I was constantly putting everything I learnt to use. There's also always help when you need it which has been great whenever I didn't understand anything! I've loved doing this entire course over the last few months and would like to thank the SheCodes team :)
SheCodes Plus was an advanced course of coding, it took me quite a time to finish the weekly projects, however for me this is a good sign for an online course. It means that it was challenging and that it really made me learn a lot through these weeks. I cannot wait for the react course to begin!
SheCodes was so helpful in teaching me the basics of coding. The online workshops were so well structured, and Matt went through every bit in detail, so you can follow easily. Thank you so much for introducing me to coding - can't wait to do SheCodes Plus!
I have enjoyed every single minute of this workshop! The structure and organisation of this course is very coherent and there is a good balance between learning and practice. I have learned so much in so little time and it felt effortless. I also enjoyed being part of an empowering community and never felt like I was left to my own devices. I am very much considering doing SheCodes Plus or Plus React! π
I would recommend SheCodes Plus to anybody interested in starting a career in coding. The course is very thorough and covers a wide range of topics from styling to JavaScript and hosting. I can honestly say the skills I have learned have been invaluable and a perfect foundation for a career change.
I started this workshop with 0 knowledge of coding and programming but after doing this Workshop I am so much more comfortable with it and what it entails. I loved that this course truly was for beginners, the classes were bitesize which made it easier to fit in, the community was super supportive and Matt was just brilliant as a teacher! SheCodes Plus was not only challenging but extremely satisfying as a learning experience. I already felt super pumped and motivated after completing the first introductory course, but now, that feeling has exponentially increased.
