I am proud of myself for finally finishing SheCodes plus.

During the SheCodes Plus workshop, I gained valuable experience that significantly enhanced my understanding of coding. As a media designer, I'm familiar with design, but backend? That was completely new territory for me! And since I work in an IT company, I also wanted to better understand how web design works. 💻 My new skills and insights: 💡 HTML, CSS, JavaScript and API basics - of course! 💡 Patience and frustration tolerance: After hours of pondering, you realize you were missing a ; 🙈 ... 💡 Self-discipline: An online course offers a lot of flexibility, but that also means you have to keep at it! 💡 Structured & creative thinking - for me, this is the key to implementing ideas and solving problems. I am particularly proud of my final project, the BreezyBlue Weather App. 🌦️ Here I was able to bring all the new knowledge together and develop a web app that retrieves data via API and displays it in the interface I created myself. That was a huge learning step for me, and it was great fun! Would I recommend the course? Definitely! SheCodes creates a great learning environment for women who want to venture into the tech world. Although I paused my learning for personal reasons, returning to the program felt seamless. I rewatched videos from previous modules and quickly got back on track. Learning on SheCodes is both fun and challenging, and I would gladly do it all over again.

SheCodes definitely has to be the best Foundation ever! From someone who had no clue about coding, let alone that I wasn't even interested until I came SheCodes on TikTok and I watched a video from Matt. How amazing is Matt and the entire team???!!! I love how everything (videos from Matt) gets broken down nicely and the team is always ready and available to help. With SheCodes Plus, I had a lot going on in my private life that I didn't get to commit to the deadlines. But I am grateful for the extensions that I was granted. Today I have completed my SheCodes Plus!! Can't wait for the next phase and learn more cool stuff. Even though sometimes I forget that I am learning.
