After completing SheCodes Basics, I decided to take a step further and continued my journey with SheCodes Plus. I must say that some of the projects were challenging but thanks to the support from the SheCodes team, I was able to complete all the tasks. I've learnt a lot and can't wait to continue my journey. So pleased with how SheCodes Plus has gone! I really struggled on a couple of weeks, particularly on advanced JS, but I was able to get through to the end and so pleased I stuck with it, even when it got very challenging. It was a huge relief to see that the final 2 weeks of the module was structured so that I could follow along with Matt's videos for building the weather app, I'm very glad this was the case, as otherwise I would've struggled. All in all still very much enjoying my journey with SheCodes and looking forward to Pro & Max!
SheCodes Plus (especially those javascripts..) is definitely more challenging than basics as it should be. Thanks to Matt and the helpful crew who responded to my queries very promptly, I have enjoyed all the challenges!

The SheCodes team's knowledge never fails to impress me. Honestly, I would not be able to complete this project without Matt, the slack community, and the SheCodes team help. After completing SheCodes Basics workshop, I felt accomplished and motivated to keep going. SheCodes Plus was really intense and a roller coaster of emotions, at the same time that I was happy with my progress, I was also panicking trying to find what was causing my code to break (it was misplaced dash btw). To me this workshop feels a lot more "professional", but just like SheCodes Basics, it was so easy to follow the lessons, and there is always someone to help if needed. The lessons are short and straightforward, you can watch as many times as you want and take breaks whenever you feel tired. I love the way you can just sit and learn, this entire workshop was really a privilege.
It's unbelievable how much I learned in just one additional week! Matt has the ability to condense all the information in easy-to-understand videos and constantly challenge you to make the whole experience even more fun. So far, I enjoyed SheCodes so much and I can't wait to start SheCodes Plus.

SheCodes Plus is a great experience for me. I learned a lot while working on weather forecasting project. It requires consistency and patience to complete the workshop and developing the project from scratch to a fully functional version of it. Matt has given great insights on planning, designing, development of a project and industry best practices. I also got to know about InVision freehand tool, Bootstrap framework, DevOps and How to continuously develop and deploy project using GitHub and Netlify. After completing SheCodes Plus I feel more confident in frontend web development and excited to learn more and improve my skills.

I loved taking the SheCodes Plus course. Matt's lessons allowed me to feel guided and supported while simultaneously allowing me to learn to feel comfortable making mistakes and thinking outside the box.
My coding journey so far has been eventful, intriguing, and above all a well of knowledge. With Shecodes plus, I now understand how javascript functions work. In most of the lessons, I hear Matt say 'this may be difficult for you to understand at this stage, but it is all fine', and with this assurance, I look forward to the lesson and always remind myself that it is fine, even though I may be finding it difficult to comprehend. SheCodes Plus Add-on project was a great way to learn about time and dates and learn a few new tricks working with CSS, HTML, and Javascript.
Never thought I would have made it this far, from SheCodes basic workshop, to SheCodes Plus, and now SheCodes React. Lots of challenges and tons of fun as well. I am really thrilled that I learnt something totally different from what I studied back in the university, and I feel a great sense of accomplishment. Can't wait to start my next workshop!!
SheCodes Plus was a fulfilling journey for me - racked my brains as I was introduced to API (the most exciting part), worked on advanced Javascript, pieced everything together, and built my very own weather app. Love the bite-sized videos and how Matt provided industry advice and tips in his capacity as a professional coder (on top of being a teacher).
I have thoroughly enjoyed what I have learned in these past 3 weeks. I started not knowing how to code in HTML at all, and now have made 2 projects on my own. I now feel comfortable creating a portfolio to showcase my work and start applying for jobs! I plan to return and enroll in SheCodes plus as soon as I can! This is an amazing program, I have referred others as well!
It was tricky at times to fully grasp the content but going through all the material and my code over and over helped me understanding it even better. There is still a lot out there to learn but with SheCodes Plus I am off to a good start.

The sheCodes plus was challenging yet exciting. I learned a lot from it.
This was my second SheCodes workshop, and it was undoubtedly more challenging. It was frustrating and FUN! Coding is a great problem-solving exercise. The best part is figuring things out and knowing that your solution is one of the many correct ones. I would give the workshop a 5/5, but some lessons needed to address the challenges adequately. It would have helped to provide resources on those aspects in the notes and not just suddenly reveal them in the challenge solution. Overall, SheCodes Plus is worth it. Thank you to everyone at SheCodes for an enriching experience.
I'm hoping to pursue a degree in computer science but wasn't sure if I'd really get the hang of coding or be genuinely interested for that matter. After seeing several videos and attending their webinar I decided to enroll in SheCodes and its been an amazing experience. Communicating with matt and gaining the confidence and interest has allowed me to come a long way in my coding journey. I'm so happy I began with SheCodes Basics, it definitely enhanced my patience and problem solving skills when things got a bit hard. Overall the information is great as well as all of the tools SheCodes offers, i'm looking to enroll in Shecodes Plus next and would recommend it for anyone in the future!!

This workshop definitely challenged me and at times, I was not sure if I would be able to tough it out and push through. BUT Here I am and have successfully completed the SheCodes Plus workshop and will continue to push myself to accomplish the upcoming workshops ahead of me.

Really loved the SheCodes plus basic add on! We had to use several different tools to build an amazing world clock that we can add to our portfolio (which wasn't easy at all) yet, very interesting and fun to build. Thank you so much Matt for teaching me so many different tools!

The Basics Add-On was very useful. I am fascinated with grids :) and how much you can do in css. But I admit that Javascript still is very challenging, I need to practise more on that. Most of all I really appreciate that Matt explains the reasoning behind the code, it helps to understand how things work. Some of the lessons I'm watching twice just to repeat to myself and understand it better. Looking forward to SheCodes Plus!
I didn't think I'd be able to build a weather app in the beginning of SheCodes Plus. There were many trial and errors to get it working, but with the help of the support team and the videos I was able to complete the final project. Overall, it was fun to see it slowly come together and gave me the feeling of accomplishment. If you love to learn new things and enjoy challenges, this workshop is for you.

I decided to start SheCodes a few months ago when considering a career shift from nursing. I started with SheCodes Basics and loved it! I signed up for SheCodes Pro and just finished the SheCodes Plus portion. I will admit, JavaScript has been challenging to learn since I started with zero knowledge about coding, but Matt makes it so fun and explains it really well. Not only am I learning completely new computer languages, but Matt is also teaching real world coding skills. While this weather app has been very challenging at times, there has always been resources to help me solve the problem when I get stuck. And I'm very proud of my final product! I gained how to switch between two themes, which is a really useful ability from The Basics Add-On. It was fascinating to learn about, and I can't wait to use it in my upcoming projects. I encountered some obstacles, but I got beyond them. I must admit that Javascript still causes me some discomfort, but I'm looking forward to the challenge. I enjoyed how Matt explains various methods; he doesn't simply demonstrate the code; he actually explains the reasoning behind it. I am looking forward to SheCodes Plus!

I really enjoyed this workshop. It was a love-hate relationship with bootstrap when I first learned it during the SheCodes Plus. However, after these responsive sessions- I get it, and I can't get enough of bootstrap. The final project really encouraged me to attempt to design and build a starter portfolio that I am really proud of. I can't wait to continue learning and just making new projects and improving my old ones.

SheCodes Plus was an adventure! The deep dive into new techniques had moments of incredible frustration, but the payoff to figuring it out was awesome. I found myself looking forward to the time I set aside every day to study and practice. I can't wait to start my next workshop!
