A great course and first hand knowledge on responsive.

SheCodes responsive was very challenging but worth it.

Enjoyable workshop! I studied Bootstrap in greater depth and learned how to import it into my project. I discovered how to host a multi-page website using GitHub and Netlify. I learned how to build a responsive navigation bar using a hamburger button menu to toggle between pages. For this specific project, I explored more utility CSS classes and responsive techniques. I also learned how to make my projects responsive using Bootstrap, as well as without it, using only vanilla CSS, HTML, and media queries. I focused intensely on CSS grids, responsive CSS grids, HTML tables, CSS filters, CSS Hero, and how to use HTML embeds. I learned how to embed parts of other websites into my personal website, such as YouTube videos, Instagram posts and Google Maps. Additionally, I learned how to use the console to view my website on different devices, ensuring it was successfully responsive. I love spoken word, so I included a poem in this project. I hope you like it! I had a great time working on this one.

After finally completing the SheCodes Responsive Workshop I'm so glad I did! The lessons were easy to follow, and I gained a lot in-depth knowledge about building responsive websites. I'm excited to put my new skills to use and create something amazing.

Wonderful addition to the Responsive workshop, going "back to basics" and replicating what i.e. Bootstrap does by using HTML and CSS only. Very complex, but again, amazingly explained and guided by Matt!

I got to build a responsive site, and it was so much fun. The step-by-step process was easy to understand and super enjoyable.

Enjoyed working on this advanced workshop, I accomplished much more in designing and making a webpage user-friendly. I was able to produce a very responsive webpage since the basics workshop and this shows how much one can learn by doing them and learning the languages.

Completing the SheCodes Plus course was a game-changer for me. I developed a fully functional weather app that integrates live data from APIs, mastered advanced JavaScript techniques, and utilized modern coding tools like Git and GitHub. This hands-on experience has greatly enhanced my web development skills, and I'm excited to continue building dynamic and responsive applications.

I had a fantastic time building a responsive webpage using vanilla CSS! I learned so many valuable techniques that have really enhanced my skills. A huge thank you to Mat and the SheCodes team for another amazing workshop!

I enjoyed this workshop. I learned new techniques in CSS and HTML, including how to work better with links and how to position elements. I studied advanced Flexbox techniques and learned how to build a multi-page website with links between each page. I also learned how to navigate to a specific section of a page using anchor links and how to create a link to an email so that, when clicked, it opens the email application. I studied in depth how to use CSS variables—specifically, how to declare a variable in CSS so that its value is stored in one place but can be reused multiple times using the pseudo-selector :root. I learned what Bootstrap is, how to integrate it into my HTML document, and how to use its classes. I also learned how to create a responsive navigation. This project was a lot of work, but I completed it!

I am so excited to have completed this course; I was very excited when I started doing SheCodes responsive because I realised that I was going learn how to build an entire responsive website. My instructor jammed packed this course with good and relevant skills to learn how to build a multiple page website with just CSS, HTML and bootstrap. I also got to learn about a design wireframe called Figma and learnt how to turn design into code. I am so excited to practice and perfect my skills in making multiple page responsive websites thanks to SheCodes and team.

Really great to have further expanded my knowledge on building out a website page however this time not using Bootstrap and getting more practise with CSS grids. This was something I struggled with earlier in the course therefore I really appreciated Matt adding in these tutorials so I could better understand how to use these and also make them responsive.

Learning React and creating a weather forecast app has been an exciting and enjoyable journey, although at times it was challenging. The way React allows you to structure your code through components made the development process smoother and more intuitive. I found it fascinating that I could achieve responsiveness without needing to use media queries, thanks to React’s dynamic rendering capabilities. This made the app adaptable to different screen sizes naturally, enhancing the overall user experience. Working with React not only helped me write cleaner, more organised code but also gave me the tools to bring my ideas to life in a more efficient and satisfying way. Each challenge I faced taught me something new, making the process of learning React both satisfying and fulfilling.

It was really exciting to work on a responsive project because I have always wanted to know how to make websites more user-friendly on mobile devices. I especially liked that we were able to create something that showcased all of our projects. I liked how the lessons kept things simple (focusing on the things that are necessary to know as a developer) and also included how a professional developer would work from a design/ wireframe.

I am thrilled to share my experience working on the final project of creating a functional weather app. This project has been an incredible journey of learning and innovation, pushing me to apply everything I’ve learned throughout the course. Integrating a weather API was both challenging and rewarding, as it allowed me to pull real-time data and present it in a user-friendly interface. One of the most exciting aspects of this project was learning how to work with API calls, handle data efficiently, and ensure the app provided accurate and timely weather updates. From designing the UI to implementing features like location-based weather and multi-day forecasts, this project has given me a solid understanding of full-stack development. The process of debugging and refining the app also enhanced my problem-solving skills, teaching me the importance of persistence and attention to detail. I’m proud of the final product—a weather app that is not only functional but also visually appealing and responsive. This project has solidified my confidence in developing real-world applications and has prepared me for future challenges in the tech industry.

Most recently, I completed a bootcamp in React, once again through SheCode. Through these experiences, I have discovered my true passion for technology and am committed to continuing my education and growth in this field. I recently completed the 'Basics-Add on course of Web Development' course on SheCodes. Before starting the course, I was looking to gain a foundational understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance my skills . I found the course content to be comprehensive and well-structured. It has been a tough 5 weeks of responsiveness but I enjoyed every thing about it. I'm glad I made it this far.

Again a fun project - taking into account all the nitty-gritty details of responsive development can be quite challenging but as always it is worth it in the end! Can't wait to tackle the next project.

This was the most challenging workshop, I never thought it would take this much to build a responsive website there is a lot that I have learned and it was so interesting. SheCodes Responsive was challenging, yet rewarding. I learned a lot in a few weeks and gained the confidence to build a website from scratch. I'm excited to try these techniques on future projects.

This was a challenging course however we pushed through. The videos are digestible and easy to understand, also the option to play at a speed suitable for you is a great option for us who are new in this " tech" industry. I have created a website for my business and made it responsive.

I enjoyed creating a responsive landing page for a favourite travel destination, and learned alot in the process.
