Learning how to build a multi-page website via SheCodes Responsive has been such a beneficial experience. Not only am I able to start applying what I've learnt onto simple web design jobs β I'm also able to showcase my portfolio on a website that can be counted as a project of itself too! π
I had so much fun during this course. I really enjoyed learning about responsive web design. Finishing the portfolio project was extremely rewarding, and it was so cool to go through the process of making my project look good on all devices. After finishing SheCodes Plus I was not sure whether I should do SheCodes Responsive or SheCodes React first. I'm glad I decided to do SheCodes Responsive first to slow down and focus on the design aspect and learn more about optimizing sizing of pages for certain devices. I am excited and nervous to move on to SheCodes React but I am excited to update my portfolio with new projects!
As an absolute coding beginner, and someone who normally gravitates towards live-taught courses, I was very impressed with how easy it was to follow along with the video lessons. I only had a couple of questions throughout the workshop, and I was able to find the answers on the very active Slack threads, where the support team are very responsive. Looking forward to the next workshop.
SheCodes Responsive has been a fantastic introduction to responsive web design! The lessons are very clear and easy to understand, and the challenges really help put what you learn into practice. I've been using what I have learned in this workshop daily in my role as a software developer! I'm so thankful to SheCodes for everything they have taught me! When I decided to try out SheCodes, I was hoping to refresh my memory on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. My experience with coding has mostly been using more object-oriented languages like Java and Python. More than expected, I was able to build a much better responsive website through the SheCodes workshop compared to when I first started. It was nice to relearn the basics and it helped me discover a passion for responsive web design. I hope to build on more from what I learned here and see where it takes me.
Amazing Again! This is my 3rd course with SheCodes, and I have gained an insane amount of skills and confidence in coding within a short space of time. I thoroughly enjoyed creating my own Responsive website for my portfolio, it gave me ample opportunity to strengthen my command of Bootstrap. After taking Basics and Plus, I was fully equipped to tackle my Responsive project more independently. It was great learning how to build a project on which I could showcase my Weather App and future projects too! My mind is buzzing with all of the projects I want to build now!
I began my coding journey with SheCodes Basics about a month ago. SheCodes Plus was challenging, but I have learned so much and am incredibly proud of myself! I cannot wait to continue learning with Responsive and React. SheCodes has helped me have the confidence to learn how to code and has opened new doors for me.

SheCodes Responsive really helped me to get more familiar with CSS and to build websites that look good on different devices.
A course well structured and easy to follow. It covers many aspects of responsiveness and give the basis to undestand how to test your app on different devices. Overall, I've really enjoyed making the project following Matt's instructions and that helped me improve my coding skills!
I really enjoyed this module of the SheCodes program. It was really fun to start thinking about the ways in which you can make a website you host responsive, rather than just having it remain stagnant and run the risk of it looking less than ideal in the mobile-sphere. Overall, I would recommend it.

This is my last workshop (for now-at least until they release more courses!). From now on I have the confidence to work on my own projects and collab with others, and now that I have my portfolio website all set up, I have something to show to recruiters in the job-hunting process. Throughout my SheCodes journey, I have gained an abundance of knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I've learned to incorporate fontawesome and bootstrap and can successfully design responsive and SEO-friendly websites. This workshop is definitely much more challenging than SheCodes Basics but this also makes it more rewarding. You dive much deeper into JavaScript and learn about API & GitHub - integral parts of Front-End Development. With each workshop, I am getting more and more interested in Web Development, so I am looking forward to learning more in SheCodes Responsive!

Thanks to SheCodes, I learned how to make a website responsive for all devices. This course make the whole process of building responsive website seem so intuitive and simple. I loved all the tutorials of this course just like the previous SheCodes courses. I feel more confident as I learned this important skill with SheCodes and I built a very nice portfolio so easily as my final project. so I put all my projects in my portfolio to showcase them all at once.
I highly recommend this course, it was easy to follow and I did not encounter any difficulties. The content is easy to learn and in little time I was able to build pages which work well in any screen size (this is the meaning of responsive). The idea of building a page showcasing all your previous projects is great and SheCodes gives you many materials and ideas so you are not alone in this. I am proud of the page I built and hope it will help to promote my work.

When I started SheCodes Plus I was about to start a new job at a large company as a UX designer where I would be working with developers on the designs I made for mobile apps and websites. I wanted to be able to speak their language by learning how to code. SheCodes Plus really helped me transition into my new role, even just by teaching me terminology like "Calling an API" (and knowing how to do it in Javascript!) or being able to read code when I would inspect a page on our company site for things I needed to reference. It gave me a lot more confidence in my skills - especially with being the "new girl" on the team. SheCodes Plus really focuses on Javascript which I found to be the trickiest of the three coding languages (HTML, CSS, and Javascript - I'm very comfortable with CSS now lol). Overtime I started to get the hang of it especially when we got to the Vanilla Javascript stuff. I love how Matt teaches and everything is so well structured its easy to follow along. The community is great, too, because they are so fast to get back to you when you have an issue and help you get through it (This is super handy for Javascript btw!). I cannot wait to jump into Responsive! I wasn't sure if I was going to do the React course at first, but Matt kept saying that things get a lot more straightforward when we get to React, so I will now be doing that one, too, and finish off all the courses! Thanks so much for all you do Matt, team, and SheCodes! This is a fun course!

Doing all the workshops I like React workshop the most. It was very challenging. My journey with coding will not end just here with SheCodes React. I will do my best to keep learning. This is by far my favorite SheCodes Workshop! Learning how to build my own responsive portfolio was not only fun, it also prepared me for any future projects.
Undoubtedly, it has been essential to learn about responsive web design and the application of SEO rules, to correctly adapt the appearance of web pages to multiple devices, allow the identification of information by web search engines and make it increasingly user-friendly.
I had studied responsive design before from another bootcamp that was free, and so it was a lot easier than the Plus course. The last two weeks could have been pushed into one week as the material was nearly the same. Easy to go through if you have the time!
Strongly recommend SheCodes Responsive! Explanations on each lessons are easy to understand and very clear.

It has been an interesting workshop,I have learnt a lot in a short while.This is the first coding workshop I have completed due to the structure of the course and also Matt's teaching method. I also love the fact that you can always ask for help on Slack.It was also easy for me considering that I work part time and have three kids. I am excited to start SheCodes Responsive!

This workshop was a great introduction to coding. I love that the lessons are very thorough and then you have to apply each concept right away.
