These past weeks I have been learning how to make a website Responsive on different devices. I had a wonderful time learning bootstrap and how to integrate CSS into my code using a new method.
I embarked on the journey of creating a global world clock application, I gained invaluable insights and skills that significantly enhanced my understanding of web development. This project allowed me to integrate HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in a cohesive manner, culminating in a functional and visually appealing application. One of the most rewarding aspects was learning how to utilize APIs effectively. By integrating the Moment.js and Moment Timezone libraries, I mastered the manipulation of dates and times across various time zones. This not only enriched my JavaScript skills but also helped me understand the complexities involved in handling date and time data. I also explored the Geolocation API, which taught me how to access and use the user's location in real-time. This feature was particularly exciting, as it added a personalized touch to the application, allowing users to see the current time in their own location. It deepened my understanding of how web applications can provide tailored experiences based on user data. Through this project, I honed my skills in creating dynamic user interfaces. I learned how to dynamically populate dropdown options, update city information in real-time, and effectively manage user interactions. Overall, I enjoyed this course. Useful new techniques and concepts are taught in week one to improve the design and layout of our projects. I found week two a little repetitive, particularly if students decide to work on their own design. But, as always, the course content is clear, well organised and well explained. We are supported step-by-step through the process of building responsive sites.

What a journey! I started my path at She Codes right after my first child was born because I wanted to change my career. In the meantime, an irresistible job opportunity came up, and I ended up putting She Codes on hold. Now, after having my second child, I finished the Plus! Iβm still going to do the Responsive and React courses, but Iβm very happy and proud of my coding journey.

Over the past three weeks, I deepened my understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, building on my prior experience in web development. JavaScript posed the greatest challenge, but I enjoyed learning DOM manipulation, event handling, and dynamic content creation.
