I was excited to learn how to properly make websites responsive for mobile devices. I really enjoyed this course as I now know how to make websites work for both web based devices as well as mobile. Once again, Matt did an excellent job at organizing the five weeks for this course in a way that flowed perfectly. I am excited for the last main workshop!

Matt puts everything we've learned from SheCodes Basic, SheCodes Plus, and SheCodes Responsive into two big React projects. It was challenging but also really fun to see my code come to life. If there is one thing I have taken away from this second project, it's that the best thing to do when one gets frustrated, is to step away for a few moments, relax or do something else, and when you return the answer often times just comes to you.

This course is definitely less information-dense than SheCodes Plus and, since you don't use JS to make a website responsive, much easier to understand! I also think the way Matt explains how to use Bootstrap in this course is much clearer than in SCP and you learn fundamental skills to make your website look great on all devices :) I personally still struggle a bit when Matt becomes messy and confusing but he's also really funny and engaging - never boring!
The Responsive Add On was a great way to learn more about building something completely from scratch! I feel like I have a way better understanding of Bootstrap because I've built something from scratch like this.

The SheCodes workshop has not only taught me HTML, CSS, Javascript, React and many more technologies. It has also increased my confidence, helping me overcome imposter syndrome and enhance my problem solving skills whether this be through the challenges, weekly homework or final projects. The workshop has provided me with a strong foundation in front end development, getting hands on coding experience creating projects such as landing pages, a React weather app and a responsive portfolio. The most understandable video lectures with step-by-step creation of projects contributed to a fairly easy perception of completely new and unfamiliar things for me. Responsive assistants and a community of students helped to resolve difficulties and issues. The last React workshop had a bit of a struggle, but in the end it worked out. Of course, it still takes a lot of practice for theory to become my skills, but a start has already been made.
This workshop taught me all the tricks for making a webpage responsive, something I didn't think of before. I enjoyed creating my own portfolio and tinkering with the responsiveness of the site.

The final project here is chosen wisely. After creating it I realised how constant practice and learning help in achieving the amazing results. Not long time ago I was surprised when the phrase "Hello, World!" appeared on the white screen after writing it in the HTML. Now, thanks to the SheCodes, I created the personal site-portfolio. Of course, I have a long way to go. There are many things to learn, to master, there will be ups and downs. I realised that programming is not only about the skills, it`s about the mindset. It`s about perseverance, problem solving, steadiness. Programming can be very frustrating, but it is incredibly rewarding too. The She Codes Responsive workshop for me is the stage when it seems like you know a lot, but in reality you discover that there are more and more techniques, which can make the sites more comfortable to use, more user-friendly and responsive. The majority of the weeks covered new content, tools, and methods that were vital to coding not just an online portfolio but coding websites in general that look good and are responsive across different platforms. This is the third SheCodes workshop I have completed, and it has been the most enjoyable so far! Having previously accomplished the SheCodes Plus workshop, I was excited to take on another challenge and further enhance my front-end development skills.
