I like the fact they teach us how to make a responsive website without using Bootstrap, because you never know if Bootstrap goes down/under repair or if you have an interview, where they want you to build a website without "outside help". This also helped with translating a Figma design to pure HTML and CSS. I like making websites but I take much longer than what I should because I want to make sure it looks perfect.
A useful workshop to continue studying front-end programming. The workshop requires some creativity (design), which is not suitable (easy) for everyone. However, as a result, you get the skills to create responsive websites.
Phew! It's a lot of work, but I am now at the end of my SheCodes Responsive add-on project. This was an enjoyable website landing page to create. I adapted my context to fit in with my own travelled destination and therefore found it more personal in some sense to relate to. I have learnt more and am continuing to build on previous knowledge.
The Basics Add-on Course was a great way to learn the finer points of CSS. Between grids, increased responsiveness through transform, and HTML class manipulations, this provided a number of incredible tools to elevate my code. I'm looking forward to putting this new knowledge to use!

I had the pleasure of working on the Explore Cape Town website, and I must say, coding responsiveness was an absolute breeze! What a ride! The responsive workshop was definitely my favorite 'til now. I had the opportunity to put all my coding knowledge together with my love for design and make a project that is unique to me. Another great workshop, more focused on HTML, CSS and pages/apps responsiveness. In this workshop I've learnt how to make my pages responsive. Which means that th pages/apps look good on every screen (from smaller to bigger screens and vice-versa). Loved taking the time to make my on Portfolio with all my previous projects. This final project really pushed me to be more creative and code on my own.

With this course, I have gained knowledge on how to code applications that are responsive, meaning that they display correctly on a range of devices through the incorporation of media queries and bootstrap utility classes. Overall this course has pushed me further and allowed me to feel more confident in my ability as a front-end developer.
I am so grateful for this amazing opportunity to learn coding. I have experienced many educational programs in my life, I am a psychologist-coach, teacher and educational author, and I can honestly say that this was the best course ever. Course structure: The lessons are incredibly well structured, showing excellent insight in what the student is going through. For example, just when I felt like I needed to review the previous material because it was getting a little bit overwhelming, the next lesson - week 7- was a recap in which everything we had learnt was reviewed. Course content: Next to that, each lesson was a tiny step, so I never felt lost or confused. This is a key point to the course: it could seem incredibly overwhelming, but because of the small steps you suddenly arrive at the destination without realizing it! Individual learning path: The program also gives you the option to choose which level you want to engage in. For instance, the final project had two options, a basic and a more ellaborate one. And when working on the weekly challenges you can ask for help or get some hints if you want to. In terms of what we learn, I have consulted with software developers and they say it's a very complete program. Support! The SheCodes team is also very supportive and responsive: they are always available on Slack or email to answer any questions or help with any issues very quickly so when things got challenging it was nice to know that they were there. Their tone was always very friendly and they always put a smile on my face. Also, through Slack, other students help as well. SheCodes community: Last but not least, what really makes this experience unforgettable is the sense of community that the course creates. The SheCodes Radio we got from Matt just did it for me :) :). Thank you SheCodes! I enrolled in the Basic Course and then I immediately signed up for the Max course. Now that the Plus course is almost over, I am so glad I did, because I don't want to stop here! If you doubt whether to enrol or not, just DO IT! You will be so happy you did!

I really loved this workshop. It's something i was waiting since i started my SheCodes journey. I simply love creating webpages and giving them my personal design style. This workshop was all i was hoping for: i've learned how to prorpely code a responsive website, transforming designs into code and much more. I loved it so much and i most importantly i enjoyed the portofolio project more than anything. It gave me a lot of inspiration and motivation to focus transforming more existing designs into code. Another stage completed. It wasn't easy, but it was fun at the same time. Thanks to Matt and the simple and detailed way he teaches, I was able to learn the basics (sometimes not so much, lol) of React and knowing that I can now build a more complete and responsive application is very satisfying, even though I have a long way to go to improve my knowledge and techniques. That said, I look forward to the next challenges.

To be honest, this course was easier than SheCodes Plus. Of course, knowledge and confidence have already accumulated. In addition, there was no Java Script. Today JS is the most difficult for me. Another achievement I consider is that I already watch video lessons with virtually no translation. Itβs very interesting to watch how a whole website appears from a set of symbols, you feel like a magician. In Responsive you have to pay a lot of attention to detail; you have to redo many sections of the page several times, changing parameters for each screen size. I would like to express my gratitude to Met and the SheCodes team for the opportunity to learn. Of course, I definitely recommend these courses.
