I haven't played around with HTML or CSS since making MySpace skins as a teenager. This course was a great refresher to dust off those skills. And I learned a brand new skill with the introduction to Javascript. The lessons were short and straightforward so the time commitment was very reasonable while working fulltime. The challenges for each section helped you build off of each previous lesson, showing how HTML, CSS and Javascript can be used in conjunction. Highly recommend for beginners and those who need a refresher!

Started with SheCodes Basic and then took SheCodes Plus. SheCodes Plus was a huge step from the Basics and found myself frustrated at times, but the support from the SheCodes Team was always there. I learned so much from this course and would definitely recommend it. I look forward to practicing what I learned but I am so incredibly proud of what I achieved.
What I particularly like about the course is 'step-by-step' approach to teaching and mentoring. The course is split into lessons, each comes with amount of information just right to understand and use. A lot of scaffolding and support from the team really help to make new complex ideas easy to comprehend. Every new thing I was learning I put into practice right away while working on the course project. By the end of the course, I had created a working web app and it was even a little sad to finish the project and the course but I also have a great feeling of accomplishment. SheCodes Basics was a comforting introduction into the "intimidating" world of coding. I had ZERO prior experience with coding and a lot of programs do not start you off from absolute scratch. This is what made SheCodes a great experience for me because it starts you off from a level of zero experience so you don't miss any foundational knowledge. I decided to upgrade to SheCodes Plus so I can continue to learn more. I highly recommend this program to anyone who is intimidated by coding and has no prior experience!

The course is very easy to follow and not too complicated to process the information. I like that even if you don't know how to make smth work you still need to investigate it by yourself first and only after that you can see the solution of the challenge. So probably it will stay longer in your memory. I can recommend it to people who want to get acquainted with React or want to transfer their projects to React. It's not a very deep React learning but a very smooth base.

Completely remote mode, the ability to learn and complete tasks at your convenience and pace is a huge advantage. I was able to easily balance my daily activities with the course. This workshop was a great introduction to coding! Would recommend a 10000/10 :) Before I signed up for this workshop I already gained experience with HTML and CSS through self-study, which wasn't only a very time consuming endeavour, but also a frustrating one (at some point tears have been shed). So, I was really dreading JavaScript selfstudy and it felt like my basics could also use some extra polishing; would not recommend the selfstudy route... That's when I started looking for an easier way and stumbled upon SheCodes. And it's seriously the best thing that could have happened to me. The lessons are very coherent and very easy to follow, and all the homework and projects were not only great practice; but also lots of fun! It's also really nice that you have access to an entire community that helps you out if you get stuck on a problem and that you can determine your own pace if you're busy with school or work, or both, while being on your coding journey.
