Working full-time, these lessons were very easy to incorporate into my busy schedule and I was able to learn & complete my homework without the pressure of an imminent deadline. The course is very well-structured and when followed as recommended, building knowledge of the coding languages was seamless.
I think SheCodes is fantastic! It brought me from zero to hero in coding! And I had fun to boot. I would recommend it to any woman who is interested in learning coding. I just completed my Ph.D in Psychology and now I am also graduating from SheCodes. I am so excited!
These weeks were very challenging, there are still many things I need to work on JavaScript, but I feel proud I got it until this point. I totally recommend going down this path, it helps you not only professionally, but personally, since you develop logic skills you could also apply on a daily basis. I will definitely continue with the next project to keep on improving my coding skills to hopefully boost my professional profile and get where I want to be. I really enjoy the part where I am coding and I can see it's working (it's stressful when it does not work LOL), but once you see the results, it's all worth it.
This is a very interesting course for beginners. At the end, you can make your own simple website. Homework gets harder each time and makes you look for ways to get things done. I recommend it!

I have been to several online coding programs but have not succeeded in completing any and this is because theyβre not beginnersβ friendly like most of them usually claim. I studied computer science in college about two years ago but eventually dropped the classes because I felt I couldn't understand or keep up with the materials. I must say that the Basic's coding workshop is extremely beginner friendly, efficient, and affordable. Before I almost gave up completely with being able to learn how to code and move forward into tech but now, I have my confidence back! I have got to admit, starting out was ROUGH, for me. I am completely new to the world of coding and to say I struggled, is an understatement. This was my final SheCodes course, and probably the one I enjoyed the most. I had fun learning React and solving problems while working on my two projects. If I were to look back to when I started, I can appreciate how far I got and while my coding journey doesn't end with SheCodes, I'm happy it was a big part of my development into the world of coding. π©π»βπ» Matt explained the concepts clearly and I would definitely recommend the React course if you already enjoyed vanilla JS.

I caught myself making adjustments and playing with the final project as you can freestyle and create beautiful pages. You lose track of time enjoying this. All lessons are explained well and are easy to follow.
This is my 2nd SheCodes workshop. I would recommend this workshop if you are looking to advance your basic knowledge of coding and web development. I really enjoyed learning more complex elements of JavaScript that I didn't know before. I must admit that I felt a bit of disappointment at the very last lesson. Throughout the entire workshop, I was expecting to learn how to add code to convert the weekly forecast for our weather projects into Fahrenheit & Celsius. Instead, the last lesson has us removing the unit conversions entirely from the web page & saying that it is too complex to do for this workshop. I would have really liked to see how to do this. Despite that, I am proud of the web page I built and found this to be another great workshop!
SheCodes has been an amazing experience. I was a little hesitant at first, as I learnt to code in a statistical software during my masters, but I unfortunately did not enjoy the experience. Nonetheless SheCodes has been an amazing experience. The lessons are very interactive and Matt does an amazing job of breaking down the concepts related to HTML, CSS and Java Script. I loved the fact that staff & students were readily available to support with any questions that I may have regarding my code or certain topics. I have throughly enjoyed my experience and will definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone who is interested in learning about the field of coding.
