What I loved was that everything is explained very clearly and going through the workshop is very straightforward. You get plenty of moments to practice. I have to say that I really enjoyed this first contact with the programming area. The SheCodes program is super well structured and makes sure that we are not discouraged in the face of difficulties. Being able to attend classes when it suits us is definitely a big advantage. I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back to deepen my knowledge in the area.

She Codes was the perfect way to learn some coding! The Basics course was a great way to test out coding to see if that is the path I'd like to pursue in Tech. I would highly recommend SheCodes. Not only is Matt a great teacher, but the fact that money from the workshops goes to fund the SheCodes Foundation to support women around the world is a bonus. Until now I have struggled with coding, it never seemed to 'click' with me. After being laid off from work the week before Christmas I decided to do something to boost my hireability. After completing this workshop I actually feel that I can code. It has been a major confidence boost and I look forward to continuing with more advanced SheCodes workshops.

I would highly recommend SheCodes for anyone interested in learning to code! The lessons are easy to follow, Matt is a great instructor, you have a ton of support through the Slack channels, and the semi-self paced nature of the courses provides structure to keep you on track but allows you to work on your own schedule.
Another really fun project finished. All though the portfolio will be a work in progress in the coming time too. Like I've said before, I really enjoy learning to code through SheCodes! I will continue to the next project and definitely recommend this training.
