I would definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone and everyone! I came into this with no prior knowledge of coding and was terrified that I would not be able to pick it up. I was pleasantly surprised that this was not the case and have been satisfied with my progress. I found Matt's video explanations and demonstrations easy to understand and follow. And it was reassuring to know that help was a few clicks away!
This was a great way to spend my "commute time" during lockdown and learn a new skill. The lessons were easy to follow and I would definitely recommend it to an absolute beginner like myself!

Coding was something I never thought I would really enjoy. But when I took a python class in high school and started getting interested in coding. I decided to try the SheCodes course because I really wanted to learn how websites are made and I am really glad I did. This course gave me the necessary skills to be able to create my own blog in the future which I definitely will. I highly recommend the course to anyone who is a beginner or has even the most basic knowledge in the field of coding (like myself). The short and understandable classes are taught by the wonderful instructor Matt and his team are very helpful on Slack. I am glad to have done this course! It was really worth it!

Very interactive class. I have taken other online classes, but this by far taught me the best. Each challenge and homework really solidified the topics taught in each lesson. The lesson, although short, did a great job of breaking concepts down into teachable modules. Highly recommend!

A great intro to coding for someone who has never coded before. I particularly appreciated the practice-based structure of the course - every short instruction video is followed by a hands-on puzzle-like challenge, which really helps keep one interested and motivated. SheCodes Plus was a great next step for learning how to code in HTML, CSS, and Javascript. The weekly challenges and homework were not easy but were broken down into digestible pieces, and I was able to successfully complete the workshop during weekends and after work. Matt provides really clear and concise recorded lessons with follow-up videos to walk you through each challenge and assignment's recommended solution. If more guidance is ever needed, additional help is always available over Slack. I do not have a math or programming background, yet I was able to grasp the concepts and after completing the weather app project, I feel more confident in my understanding and ability to read and create code to build useful applications. I recommend the SheCodes Plus workshop to anyone who has completed the 3-week introduction workshop, and wants to learn more!

As an architectural engineer by trade, I decided to take a leap and expand my knowledge of coding and software engineering. I had very little coding experience in college and what I did learn was pretty outdated (MATLAB and things of that sort), so joining this workshop was a bit intimidating at first. To my surprise, this workshop has not only been easy to understand, but it's been quite fun as well! I feel like I've learned so much and I intend to continue on my journey of coding.
