The coding in this course got a lot more difficult, but I found that I was able to retain the information a lot better than I thought I was able to when watching the videos. I highly recommend this course and I'm looking forward to the React workshop!
I was so excited when I learned about the Responsive Workshop. I absolutely loved the other three courses and really appreciate Matt putting this one together! Learning how to make a multi-paged and responsive website was such a fun and informative experience. I highly recommend all of the SheCodes Workshops for anyone even remotely interested in learning how to code - you will not regret it!

Coding is something I have wanted to learn for some time so I did quite a bit of research online, but I kept coming back to SheCodes, so I booked myself onto the free 1 hour session one evening. I was completely engrossed and couldn't wait to start learning properly. I was really drawn to SheCodes as everything is broken down into bite-sized sections, and as a complete newbie, this really stood out to me. I love the fact there are lots of shorter exercises to complete after most of the lessons with a longer homework piece at the end of the week. Being quite a practical learner, this is by far the best way to help me understand. Love how there is a community on Slack, where everyone can help out, as well as the experts if you get really stuck. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants a taster of how websites work; but be prepared, you may good hooked!
Signing up for the SheCodes Plus workshop is probably the best decision I've made this year. After a free lesson with Matt, I knew I had to try it. The first workshops were wonderful. I immediately got into it. But SheCodes Plus made me feel really confident with my skills and I developed amazingly. Creating a weather app was very difficult at times, but I had so much fun doing it! I would recommend them to anyone, especially one who claims that coding is not for her. You never know!
I would definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone! The tutorials are very helpful and at the same tome it also teaches you how to go and search for your own answers, which really pushes you and encourages you to learn more!

SheCodes Plus has been a great challenge and step up from SheCodes Basics. I am stoked about all the things I have learnt and am now more seriously looking into a career change towards becoming a Developer. It was a manageable amount of learning each week despite having a fulltime job. In fact, this course gave me something to look forward to at the end of the day, and it has been great to stretch my brain and learn something new with focus. SheCodes is just amazing! I had fun while making my projects, learned a lot and now I feel that I can really go forward testing my knowledge by developing new stuff! I certainly recommend SheCodes, especially because we (women) are fewer than men in this field, and this has to change! SheCodes was a great training for the absolute beginner I was. The videos are explaining HTML, CSS, and JAVASCRIPT functionalities very clearly and step by step, you can learn at your own pace which is very pleasant. I highly recommend this course.

I would definitely recommend joining the SheCodesPlus course as it teaches many interesting and important features for building a website. It's more challenging than the first one but still a lot of fun and rewarding! It would be awesome though if Matt could show us some helpful (keyboard) shortcuts that he uses.

The class was great, easy to follow, and the workload was just perfect for people who have a full-time job. I loved the short lesson videos. These make it easy to work on the class for short periods at a time. There is also support available to answer questions when you get stuck on something. I highly recommend it.
SheCodes Plus workshop is definitely much more challenging and demanding compared to the previous SheCodes Basic. Working step by step every week on your weather app, trying to understand more deep and complex Javascript you soon realize how amazing programming is π€© Thank you very much for this experience! As a single mother of 2 small children, I cannot rave enough about this workshop. For quite some time I had been wanting to do something different as a career that could really allow me to provide for my daughters. I've always been interested in STEM and with my background as a Science and Math teacher...I was so excited when the most beautiful Godsend appeared on my YouTube recommendation about SheCodes. At first I thought "What is this?" then I clicked and it was amazing to think that in a short clip I found myself wanting to join. I worried that as a single mom juggling kids, homeschool, and play time that there would be NO WAY I could do this and not fall behind but after back and forth emails with Matt I was reassured that I COULD DO IT and that was the moment I took the plunge. I attended the free workshop and as an artsy attention to detail kind of person, watching Matt really allowed me to see myself doing this and becoming passionate about it. I set out on a mission to start and finish and made sure to do so throughout the course of these 3 weeks and I can honestly say that I am so proud of all the knowledge I've gained, so proud of myself and being able to say that I didn't allow anything to stop me from working hard, completing challenges and submitting homework on time. I DID IT! All of the thanks goes out to Matt Delac and his team JoΓ£o, Daniela and the wonderful people on Slack who took time to help me when I got stuck. I am really happy that I signed up for SheCodes back in January! I would totally recommend this course to anyone, who is curious about coding, but doesn't know where to start/ thinks that coding might not be for them. The videos are well constructed and you will find in them the answer to all the questions, even if you might have to watch them more than once (my case). Don't heasitate, just do it. It will suck and you will question your "why" many times, but eventually it gets better... at least that's what they sayππ
Absolutely enjoyed it!!! So easy to follow with zero experience. I've already recommended this to a ton of my friends deciding what they are going to do after the military. I've been showing them my progress and they are interested. I can't wait to learn even more in the next workshop.

This is honestly one of the best things I could have done for myself! I've been looking at the site for the last year and a bit, wondering if I should take the plunge, and I'm annoyed that it took me so long to make the decision to join! The little bitesize videos (nothing is really longer than 10 minutes, maybe just one) are so easy to digest and everything makes sense. Even if you don't understand anything, there's a whole community of women who can help you as well. I'm going the full way with SheCodes Pro, and doing the first 3 weeks of the workshop has let me know that I've made the right choice! I would DEFINITELY recommend!
