This was the most challenging of all the workshops, however provided quite a bit of useful information about how to develop a React application.

At first, I found the React class to be quite challenging, to the point where I almost considered quitting. Despite not fully grasping every concept immediately, I am incredibly grateful that I persevered through the difficulty because it was undeniably worth it. The challenges I faced throughout the course ultimately made me a stronger developer, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to have learned and grown through the SheCodes React class.
This SheCodes workshop taught me so much about React and gave me the confidence to step out of my comfort zone in my coding. Whenever I felt like my head was spinning, I took breaks and let the information sink in (something that is incredibly important). I cannot wait to start the add-on project for this workshop as I had a lot of fun building the final project application.

Learning how to use React is important in today's world. I'm happy that I know a little more about it so that I'm not too intimidated to try it on my own. This workshop is a nice beginner's introduction to React. I plan on continuing my learning of React now that I have a basic foundation.

I've really enjoyed the React workshop, it's definetly the most challenging one so far but once you understand the workflow it's even better/easier then using pure javascript. Matt has an incredible talent to teach and makes everything so easy to understand!! I'm very proud of how far I've come and how much I've learnt! Attending the SheCodes React workshop was not an easy experience for me at all. I got the hang of the basics, but I'm still figuring out how to apply everything smoothly. It's clear I need to keep learning, maybe even beyond the workshop, to truly get React. I'm feeling motivated to dive deeper and see where it takes me!
The hardest course thus far. React really tested my patience but Matt did a fantastic job working me through every week. React is very challenging but quite efficient and quick. But I got a good hit of dopamine after completing every weeks homework!
Wow, that was a challenge! I'm all the more proud that I was finally able to build my weather application in React :) There's still so much to learn and I'm excited to see what's next. The module was again a great learning experience and it was good to hear from Matt from time to time that building the weather app is not just a simple matter and that it is completely normal to struggle with learning React at the beginning. Creating a fully functional weather app using React was an ambitious undertaking for me, but with the guidance and support of my tutor, I was able to turn my vision into reality. Initially, I found myself grappling with the complexities of React and navigating the intricacies of integrating various APIs to fetch weather data. However, with my tutor's patient and insightful guidance, I gradually gained a deeper understanding of React's core concepts and best practices.
Learning React.js was a challenging experience yet I enjoyed it. I am super excited that I got to upskill my coding with React. I'm definitely going to build more projects using React.

This was challenging but definitely fun to learn. It's only the beginning, coding requires practice and patience and this workshop was a good example of this. During this workshop I focused more on learning rather than styling because react is very useful but also very tricky, so I encourage other students to focus on understanding how the app works and practice and practice harder each time. Best workshop ever, very insightful and much valuable tutorship.

Really enjoyed learning more about integrating different types of API using React.js. Very happy to have two projects using the language and I'm really looking forward to building more applications to expand my portfolio - this was a great starting point.
Through various projects, I've leveraged React to build feature-rich applications, noticing a marked improvement in performance and maintainability. This certification has not only expanded my technical toolkit but also opened new avenues in front-end development, reinforcing my confidence in tackling more ambitious projects.
The dictionary app project, in my opinion, fell short of exploring more comprehensive and challenging concepts that could have been beneficial for reinforcing advanced React skills. It seemed like a missed opportunity to delve deeper into the intricacies of React. On the positive side, the course did offer a platform to practice and consolidate the skills acquired in the initial React course. The incorporation of API fetching added a practical dimension to the learning experience, allowing us to implement real-world data into our projects. However, I believe there was untapped potential for a more sophisticated and multifaceted project that could have elevated the learning experience.
I'm so proud of myself for how much I know up to this point, and so grateful to the SheCodes team for such an amazing workshop! I am looking forward to taking React classes!

This project was a lot of fun, and have a good idea of how complex larger React projects can be, as well as some (much needed) practise in using states, functions and props. I've actually come to enjoy React, it's quite nice to divide your code up into sections. I think I'll definitely need to supplement with some additional study, but it was an excellent introduction to React.
Really interesting use case to build a react dictionary App, with two public APIs (one for images, and one for definitions etc).

React was a remarkable course to complete. The course content was thoroughly structured and Matt provided invaluable insight into React development. This made things more understandable for me, and it also encouraged me to not give up. This React final project helped me consolidate my understanding and proficiency in React.
Learning React is not easy. It takes a lot of practice and understanding. I was learning it while doing my freelance work. The great thing is it is very flexible, timewise.

Its been a great 8 weeks journey with a number of challenges that helped me improve my skill. I built an entire weather app in 8weeks! At the start of the course, it seemed complicated for me and I had no idea how I was going to build such an app. But am glad shecodes helped me through the process and my app is working. I could not have achieved this through learning on my own. Can't wait to move on to responsive and react workshops to make my app better.

Another React workshop came to it's end but this time diving deeper into React, and I've got to say, it was another fantastic experience! Just like the forecast project we did earlier, this workshop was a blast. One of the things I really appreciated about this workshop was how it helped me understand more about loops and working with double APIs. React can be a bit tricky to wrap your head around sometimes, but Matt really knows how to break it down into manageable chunks. Overall, I learned a ton and had a great time doing it. Can't wait to see what i will be learning and coding next! 🤍

Matthew explains React very simply and fluently so that anyone who is not familiar with any framework can easily understand it. But this course is far from the complete topics of React and maybe only 20% of React was discussed. I suggest that after completing this course, look for learning more about React

The first couple of weeks of React were tough and confusing. I'd gotten to the point where I felt quite confident using HTML, CSS and JavaScript, but it felt like starting from scratch. I'm so glad I stuck with it, and would highly recommend this course. I really liked that the final project was a React version of the SheCodes Plus final project; having some familiarity with the project (API calls etc) made the React aspects a little easier.
