The add-ons were a great way to provide more practice for each section. React is very difficult, but having these added projects helped enhance my knowledge.

It was difficult and confusing at times, but it got better. I'll have to watch some YouTube videos or take extra React courses. Otherwise, Matt perfectly broke down the fundamentals.
Learning React was tough, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would suggest that you give yourself the patience to restart as many times as you can in order to understand. Ask for your extensions if you must because practice makes perfect
Definitely the toughest course out of all I've done so far. Not sure if the pace was too quick for myself - I felt as though I understood the structure of React but I couldn't have gotten through it without Matt explaining every step of the way. I hope I'm able to bring some learnings from this course on to the next and gain greater confidence and knowledge in using Javascript and React.

This course felt really different from the others, I enjoyed following along to build the weather app again in React in weeks 5 and 6, however I dont feel at all confident in what i've watched, seen, 'learned' or my ability to do any of this on my own.

SheCodes Responsive has taught me all of the things that I wished I could have done with my projects from SheCodes Basic and especially SheCodes Plus. I recognise there are other workshops that could, no doubt, teach the same content, however, the means in which SheCodes delivers this program of learning is effective for how I learn. The delivery of a lesson, followed by a challenge with a marked result and a solution provides the learning examples for me to properly understand. One of my favourite things about SheCodes is that even Matt struggles to get code to work for him sometimes, and he is a professional developer. This gives me confidence in my own ability (as it shows anyone can make a mistake, regardless of how advanced they are) and I appreciate that Matt could have gone on to re-record these lessons but instead shows us how he fathoms out these issues. Overall, SheCodes Responsive has certainly been a great learning experience and I look forward to undertaking React as well as the further 'add-on' projects π₯³

Wow; learning react couldnβt be more easier, I have try to learn it from internet but it was overwhelming and frustrating but SheCodes was something else but I admit it was a little bit hard at first but as I progressed it became more and more easy.
Coding with React was just as challenging as I had thought but the structure of how this course is taught, really helped me to understand and work through each challenge. Definitely one of the hardest languages I've hard to learn so far. After many try outs, fails, and learning phases, I managed to understand the methodology of React, and grasp a basic understanding of it. You have to always keep pushing and never to be satisfied, until you are completely sure of yourself. Totally recommend to learn this workshop!
I enjoyed Basics so much and happily got on with Plus, but when I noticed I had missed out The Basics Add-on I had to go back and do it. I was not disappointed, further insight into CSS and JS, unlocking powerful reactive functionality. You've done it again Mat, so inspiring! π

This one was a challenging one but I enjoyed it! It helped me to solidify all the concepts learnt about react. I liked that we used more than one api on the project.
I am a beginner and before the course had zero knowledge in coding, but Matt explained everything step by step knowing what mistakes beginners usually do and prevented them. I really like it! Matt makes coding really really fun and exciting. I also like that all the challenges really require a bit of Google or analyzing, not just re-creacting stuff. This is how I have learnt something extra stuff. I also like that after every challenge we can watch a solution and there is always something new there. Thank you so much! In this section of the course, I made a weather forecast project using React. I studied components, hooks, props, states. Lots of information to learn, the course covers React in detail. The knowledge gained is enough to create simple projects I recommend the course for students .

Learning React was challenging but the dopamine rush that you get when you fix those silly little mistakes such as forgetting to capitalize something or forgetting a comma, and then suddenly your app looks awesome and everything works the way you intended is so so so great! I really enjoyed this workshop, even though the concepts were a lot different from the previous workshops, I had fun building with the idea of components as building blocks.
