I really enjoyed learning how to code! The tutorials were easy to follow and the final project was a fun challenge.
I started programming as a side task in my previous job to build some basic applications in Google App Script to automatize some processes. I discovered that I liked coding and that the job of developer would enable me to have a more flexible lifestyle than I used to have. After trying to learn coding on my own via free courses and YouTube videos, I realised it would be more efficient to have a better structure of learning with deadlines, challenges, projects but also flexibility, which is why I registered to SheCodes. Even though I had already some basic knowledge of HTML and CSS, this course was clearer than any of the other content I had already learnt from and helped me understand better what I was doing. I would like to stress that you DO NOT NEED to have any experience in coding to register for SheCodes. The courses are very structured and the fact that you apply what you learnt right away in some small challenges helps absorbing the information.
SheCodes Responsive was a great next step after SheCodes Plus - I feel so much more confident with writing code, fixing issues in my code and being able to create a website that looks exactly like I want! Can't wait to get started on SheCodes React and build more projects to add to my portfolio!
I remember being proud of my previous coding projects but I always had to make excuses for why it didn't look good on a phone screen. Now, I'm so glad that I've learned how to make those pages responsive so I can stop being embarrassed! This is an essential development skill.
I enjoyed the experience. Each course has a perfect format, not too long and not overwhelming at all. The challenges are perfect for consolidating knowledge and the final project allows you to put into practice all the topics covered. Matt's pedagogy is spot on and very understandable!

I'd already had some HTML and CSS knowledge and never felt ready to jump into learning more about them. But thank God I made up my mind and chose SheCodes! Matt is an awesome teacher, he takes time explaining - also it's a huge plus that I can go and learn at my own pace! I've had so much fun building the final project and really lost track of time researching for applicable codes and finetuning my project - I 100% recommend taking the course!

SheCodes has been a fun and exciting experience. Matt’s classes are easy to follow through, his voice is very relaxing and the tasks that he gives you are simple yet challenging. Getting to the end of the SheCodes Plus course is definitely a highlight of the year for me, where I didn't think it would be possible for me to achieve and do everything I have accomplished with my final project today. I absolutely love this programme. It really helped me realise just how fun and creative coding can be! The challenges and homeworks allow you to put your newfound coding knowledge to work and I really like how the final project is based on our interests. Finally, i complete and submit my final project (weather app) SheCodes Plus. After SheCodes Basic, SheCodes Plus being a huge change, a lot of information and tasks. It was a big deal with me especially vanilla JavaScript and API. Full of extensive information about HTML, CSS, JS. Pretty much hard and dynamic. It's a great experience with SheCodes Plus. However, SheCodes Plus taught and introduce with me that, how to dance with frustration. Thank you so much Matthieu Delac Aussaguel. You are such an enthusiastic, well organized, passionate, talented and creative instructor. Before engaging with SheCodes workshop, i had a negative impression about online courses. However, SheCodes (Matthieu) helped me out from that negative impression about online course. Now, I'm more passionate to do some other online course. Thanks again to Matt. Moreover, thanks a lot too to the whole team of SheCodes and also an especial thanks goes to João Lopes and Bruno Torres. You two are super heroes. Here is my final project of SheCodes plus. Just finished the last project and still cannot believe how much I have learned, with a great support of SheCodes team, during these 6 months. It was a lot of fun and quite challenging. Feels kind of sad the course to be over, but I am excited about where the new knowledge will bring me next.
SheCodes gave excellent projects and forums to boost my confidence while learning a new skill. I got frustrated so many times but reaching out to my fellow SheCoders and having their support kept me motivated! Making every completed track taste that much sweeter 🤩. Now I'm hungry for more. I just turned in my final project for SheCodes basics - I absolutely loved taking this class and recommend it to anyone looking to understand the basics of HTML/CSS & Javascript. It's so fun and hands-on and you won't get bored. I already signed up for the next class and cannot wait to learn more!
I was a technical Recruiter for four years and came to know about coding and the IT world through recruiting.I was always fascinated about it and wondering if I could do that aswell. I have been wanting to get into coding for a long time..but there have not been many options without the proper background in this field + without having to sacrifice your fulltime job etc for it.Therefore i was very happy see an ad about shecode. I enrolled and wow. What an amazing experience sofar. Easy, understandable and perfectly explained lessons..i love to attend each lesson and am even excited after work to go to my class/next lesson and finally to my project end of the week:) looking forward to the rest of the journey!!

I love SheCodes! Matt's teaching style fit me well and the structure of the classes helped me stay accountable on my learning journey. I've tried other courses but had to take a break from them because they were overwhelming with information overload. I love how SheCodes teaches you what you have to know *at this level* so that you can practice and apply it. I have enjoyed these workshops so much. I can't believe it's finished!! I highly recommend them. Two months ago I had no idea what a function was, and I today I feel much closer to being able to ask for a job in the industry. I enjoyed the final project for SheCodes Responsive. I'm not the best at web design so I liked that there were web design options provided for us that we just had to mimic and code for. As always the class provides structure with the weekly assignments and that was something I looked for.
Learning code as a total beginner from scratch to proper skills, just one website comes to my mind : SheCodes.io. Lessons, videos, vocabulary, projects, help and feedback from live-support and so on, everything is provided in order to get the best skills.
It was the 3rd SheCodes workshop for me and was great that I could sharpen my skills to build responsive websites through this project. All the tutorials were easy to understand and all the advice from my coursemates and support team helped me a lot!
This is the last of my four SheCodes workshops. Three months ago, I began as a complete beginner to coding, and now I feel so proud every time I complete a new project. This current workshop has allowed me to create new projects and also add my newfound ability to make websites more responsive (gleaned from the previous workshop).
I loved this course and I've recommended it to all my friends! It was super accessible and really fun creating all the different projects. It has opened up a whole new skillset for me and I'm really looking forward to using the skills I have developed in future projects.

I really enjoyed learning, testing, redoing, having other ideas during my course days. The information is clear and if not, you can follow the projects of the other participants, get inspired, talk to people from other countries and bring it all to your final project. I'd like to thank SheCodes' initiative to bring women closer to technology and show that it's possible to learn programming in a practical way at any age and career moment of each one.
Learned a lot! Was never too overwhelmed and was able to do the challenges as a beginner. I do wish my homework and projects had a detail report on things I could improve on. But the team is great and pretty quick on answering in slack and emails.

These first couple of weeks of SheCodes Basics has been awesome, I really enjoyed learning the basics of how to create a landing page! Amazing!! it's such a great feeling to know I have learned a new skill and with it can create projects like the Weather App. There are many pros to SheCodes, but the one thing I absolutely love about it is the fact that Matt teaches with real-life examples.

As I already had a portfolio website, I decided to continue a project from University - Cooking Goes Green! It's a project showcasing the best of sustainable food - the fact you can make delicious food without the food waste and the sheer breadth of food you can make. I love SheCodes! Matt makes everything very easy to understand and even when I get stuck, other members are on Slack who might be having the same issue and you will find what you need. Matt even encourages you to google when you can't find an answer on Slack. I've only gotten stuck twice and found the solution easily by ways of Slack or a simple google search. The homework and projects are a great way to put everything I've learned into action and it's fun for me at the same time. Thank you, SheCodes!
My SheCodes journey was incredible and it's just the beginning! Matt's voice is highly addictive, lessons are short and sweet, all little projects along the way are motivators and the support team is always there. As a matter of fact I was always intimidated by coding; now I can't recommend it enough. It was a life-changing experience.

I think it was my best decision to join SheCodes! 🤩 This real-life weather app project showed the whole process of development totally from scratch. Starting with just as little as the framework, you continually growing up and gain knowledge on how to build the app step by step, function by function. I've learned A LOT during this course, the step-by-step videos are so easy to follow which makes it easy for anyone to understand! I had a lot of fun putting the final project together as I really understood what I was doing. There's still a lot left to learn, but I for sure understand the basics now.
SheCodes Plus was a brilliant in depth look at HTML/CSS/JS. The course brought all of these together into a project we got to build from start to finish. It was easy to follow and worked around a busy schedule. I enjoyed every minute of it.

I could not be happier with SheCodes Responsive. After I had completed SheCodes Plus React I felt there was a bit of a gap in how i could make any of my app's/projects work on different devices, and this course has honestly been my favourite. I would recommend it to anyone!

As a complete beginner, this was a great introduction to coding. I found the exercises well-organized with achievable objectives per lesson. Assistance from peers and moderators on the Slack site was incredibly helpful, and aided with my learning process. I enojoyed the SheCodes Plus workshop, it was difficult at times but at the end with the help of the team and classmates the homeworks and project were laborious but not hard. As it is an online worshop I could take the lessons at my own pace. 🌠✨

React definitely has a steep learning curve but once you've gotten a grasp of the concepts, it really empowers you to build cleaner, elegant projects. Coding was something I was curious about since I found about it. Although my studies field has been more sociology and world cultures related, I wanted to learn about coding to expand my skills and get more tools for my future projects.
Hello :) This course is very nice. I learn a lot in the previous five weeks. For me the best part of this course is the final project - you get to build your own personal website during the last 2 weeks. That is awesome, because you get to build something to showcase your work, while you do a website all by yourself (of course with Matt's guidance). However, I wouldn't imagine building something so complex (at least for me ahah) a couple of weeks ago. I am super happy with the course because is giving me real tools and I had a lot of fun, at the same time! "Happy coding, everyone" :)
