This section has given me in depth a better understanding of JavaScript. Which I feared I was never going to get the hang of it. I was able to troubleshoot most bugs I was encountering based on the content of the videos but also help from the team. I will say this project provides a big example of powerful functionality. Furthermore, I can say I feel more confident in moving forward with my coding journey thanks to Matt and the team.
The SheCodes Plus was a bit challenging since we're getting into more advanced programming but with patience, more practice and applying it in my personal projects worked for me. This chapter was exciting and I can't wait for the next one.

I didn't know anything about coding and the world of websites, html, css, and java script, and I had only heard that they are used in website design. After completing the basic shecode course, the concepts have completely settled in my mind and I enjoyed learning them a lot - it was a comprehensive course. Both in terms of questions and slack groups and Mr. mac's videos and the whole shecoded platform. In the end of each week project section and its timing and The challenges helped me a lot in understanding and learning and it is a world away from watching videos on YouTube!

SheCodes React was my third SheCodes workshop and as the other ones I am very happy to have finished it, it was great! React is not easy, but Matt makes everything so approachable that even difficult things seem easier ;) I finished this workshop in 2021, but since the workshop formula has changed since and React workshop was divided into two, I needed to resubmit my project to get the correct certificate.

Matt takes his time to teach the course effectively. I'm still adjusting to adding script on the HTML file as JS, CSS and HTML should have its own files. This should be something already taught at the beginning of this coding bootcamp. The projects offered are fairly easily to complete, which is good for beginners.
Really good, was tricky at some parts (which is to be expected), learning different techniques including advanced ones but the pride and excitement I felt once my project was complete and fully working made it all worth it.

This project was definitely one of the more challenging ones, but Iβm proud to say I was able to push through and finish it. Itβs been quite a rollercoaster of a learning experience, with both moments of frustration and victory. I have always loved the SheCodes courses and I will never provide less than a 3 because this might be the only site that provides a lesson and homework and that works best for my learning style but I wasn't super impressed with this course. The final project was fully provided. I looked at multiple students solutions available through slack and besides a few extra comments, it was exactly like the answer provided in the video. While I might have understood the content more after watching each video, there wasn't room for figuring it out on our own. There are also mistakes throughout the course and notes that aren't relevant to that particular content. I feel like this was thrown together because people had been asking for a python course but you can tell from previous courses and certain references to material in this course that Matt is super knowledgeable in Java and also lacks in his python skills.

β¨ Milestone reached: SheCodes Plus successfully completed! β¨ I've completed the SheCodes Plus module, taking further steps into the world of programming - with a course that not only taught me HTML, CSS, JavaScript and API basics, but also a lot about patience and perseverance. π€― I've always found it exciting to see how beautiful and functional websites and apps are created from endless lines of code. As a media designer, I'm familiar with design, but backend? That was completely new territory for me! And since I work in an IT company, I also wanted to better understand how web design works. π» My new skills and insights: π‘ HTML, CSS, JavaScript and API basics - of course! π‘ Patience and frustration tolerance: After hours of pondering, you realize you were missing a ; π ... π‘ Self-discipline: An online course offers a lot of flexibility, but that also means you have to keep at it! π‘ Structured & creative thinking - for me, this is the key to implementing ideas and solving problems. I am particularly proud of my final project, the BreezyBlue Weather App. π¦οΈ Here I was able to bring all the new knowledge together and develop a web app that retrieves data via API and displays it in the interface I created myself. That was a huge learning step for me, and it was great fun! Would I recommend the course? Definitely! SheCodes creates a great learning environment for women who want to venture into the tech world. The modules are flexible and there is always support from the community. πͺπ©βπ» I'm looking forward to the next SheCodes modules and which project I get to work on next! π₯
The Responsive Web Development workshop was a game-changer for me. I learned to make any website responsive, either with Bootstrap or with media queries. The expert guidance allowed me to apply these skills directly to my final project: a fully responsive portfolio website. I now feel confident in my ability to create adaptable, professional websites π
The Basic Add-On program was good to exercise the code we learn in the first workshop, it allow us to assimilate the basics and to get creative with our projects :)

This workshop is super easy to follow but at times very challenging. Matt is definitely pushing you to learn as much as possible early on, which might mean you need to redo some lessons in order to completely grasp the concepts. However, the challenges are fun and there's always help to get through the various resources available. In the end you will have completed a really cool project that definitely encourages you to move forward and learning more in the next workshops!
Completing the She Codes workshops has been both challenging and rewarding. I did not understand what I was doing when I began, but She Codes pushed me to a whole new level, especially in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. There were moments of frustration and countless lines of code, and at times, I felt truly tested. However, each challenge taught me something new and brought me closer to my goals. This program didn't just teach me to code-it built my resilience and ignited my passion to keep creating and learning tech. I'm excited to apply these skills in real-world projects and take my journey even further!
