I would definitely recommend SheCodes for any woman who wants to learn more about programming. Completing the lessons was a very fun way to get knowledge. I was very happy when I finish my final project.

The course is great. Lots of useful information, interesting tasks and projects.
Building a weather app in this part of the course was very challenging but nevertheless exciting! Now I have a pretty decent project to put on my profile. I really liked that everything was well-explained, so I had zero problems while working on home tasks and the final project. Overall, I learned a lot and had fun in the process :)
The workshop is designed very well. Small lessons, achievable challenges and homework. And most important, a real-life project where you can apply all the knowledge you achieved during the course.

I had a wonderful time completing SheCodes Plus! It was fun and challenging creating a custom weather application. I really enjoyed working through the concepts presented to be able to code my final project. Matt explains concepts very well throughout the course. There is an opportunity to do small assignments every lesson, so that by the end of the week you can do your homework. I am so glad I started classes with SheCodes. I've wanted to switch careers for awhile now, but wasn't sure where to get started. My first SheCodes class was the motivation I needed. The class was easy to follow yet challenging at the same time. I enjoyed the bit-size lessons that fit into my schedule. I loved that Matt would sometimes throw in a challenge on a concept that he hadn't fully explained forcing me to problem-solve and evaluate the project as a whole. I would definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone not sure where to start.

SheCodes Basics is really good for getting started with coding. Thanks to three weeks of regular classes, I realized that studying can be interesting. Accessible materials, meaningful videos and enough time for homework. I can make my own website now. Moreover, I happened to get acquainted with different platforms that help a web developer in his project. Many thanks to the SheCodes for supporting Ukrainian women during the war. And thanks for giving me this course for free.

This workshop taught me a lot of new techniques and secrets of how to improve and optimize the code to build a multiple pages project.
After completing the Basics workshop, I knew I needed to learn more in order to fully understand what it is to be a front end developer. Now that I have completed the Plus workshop and worked on a much more challenging project, I better understand some of the work that entails and I know it is what I am going to become! The more I learn the more I want to know and I am so glad to have come across this wonderful platform. I am definitely getting the sound foundation for which I was looking. The structure of this learning program is such that allows us to take in a little information at a time. Then build on that information week over week. I appreciate the final projects at the end that really showcase our newly developed skills. I cannot wait to begin the next workshop in the program and learn even more. Enjoyed the step by step instructional videos. Matt was very thorough in his teaching style and felt like I was able to grasp the projects. Also really appreciated the hands on work and if I ever had any questions the Slack channel was readily available. Would highly recommend.

Just like the Basics class, this was a great experience. It was definitely challenging and I had to rely on so many of the resources (slack, others projects, google, etc.) to really get and understand the information. Matt is a great teacher and easy to follow.

This project was so hard. Sometimes I thought that coding is not my thing and I should quit the course. But as soon as I found and corrected a mistake, I got pleasure. I am satisfied with my work. Of course it's not ideal. But I have a lot of lessons learned behind me and much more new things to come.
It was more complicated than project 1, but nothing that couldn't be done. Matt has great educational videos so thank you very much!🤗

I really enjoyed Shecodes Basics and highly recommend it to everyone who want to get an idea what coding is about! It was fun to watch Matt's videos as they are easy to follow/understand. The challanges were a lot of fun too. But mostly I enjoyed doing my own project, because you can already play around with the skills you learnt. I will definitley enroll for the SheCodes Pro course as I now know that I absolutely wanna move on and become a professional front end developer!

This course is fantastic. The step-by-step instruction makes it easy to understand and keeps you motivated and moving forward towards the end project.
Another great SheCodes course! I love how by each course, you get 'set loose' more and more. It is more challenging that way, but it also makes it more fun. Though the two React projects are technically done, I still want to play around with them more. Sometimes it was hard to reach the weekly deadlines (I also took the course during summer holiday), but it was easy to extend a week at a time. Some of the documentation for e.g. the dictionary API was not 100% up to speed, but it's understandable that that will happen quickly - it also makes the course more 'realistic' in a way, as I'm sure similar problems could happen in 'the real world'. The course is not comprehensible enough for me to now call myself a React developer, but there is definitely a good fit between duration, price and quality. Most importantly, it has made me get excited about React and learning more!
I've completed all 4 courses with SheCodes. I've taken a variety of online coding courses in the past and SheCodes has easily been the best. Each course has been easy to understand and follow along, the challenges help you apply what you've just learned and the projects have been fun to complete.

The content has been so easy to follow along and I love the fact that I can revisit any previous lessons at anytime! The courses are done at my pace and I am able to soak up all the content Matt puts out fully. This course is a great chance to try make a real project from scratch and be able to ask as many questions as you need. It can give a fair understanding of whether front-end is something you might want to work with.
Just finished the basic coding course. Loved the way it was introduced and explained. Recommended. As a result, you'll get your first pet project, some knowledge in basic markup and JS front that helps you to understand if you need to go deeper or look in a different direction.

I absolutely loved building on the learnings from the SheCodes Basic and to dive deeper into HTML5 , CSS and especially Javascript and API. Matt continues to impress me with his great teaching skills! 👨🏫 One thing I really like about all the SheCodes Workshops so far is that we get to design the projects all by ourselves. I don't have to build exactly the same as everyone else, in the end everyone has a completely unique project result. I believe this is very different to a lot of other courses and proves to me, that it was a great decision to choose SheCodes! I am excited to see what comes next and where this path will take me!
As for the first week, it was really sophisticated and intensive for me, sometimes I thought that I was ready to give it up... But furhter all the things have changed. I was enjoing the second week, and I found JavaScript extremely interesting and powerful! And then, the third week was so soft and creative! I was having fun during my final project! Would recommend for someone looking to learn web development basics. Would be beneficial to have 6 weeks instead of 3 lets say, with more practice projects. Otherwise, really enjoyed the format of lessons and video instructions.

This was a fantastic beginner course. I have been stuck in a rotation of watching tutorials and starting on other self paced coding sites, but I am a person who needs more structure and this was perfect for me! I looked forward to it every night and the final project was soooo much fun seeing the outcome of what I created!
I worry a lot that I won't be able to turn this into a career. I worry that I am not able to learn the material, then I hop on and complete a lesson and watch what I am learning come to life in real time as I code. Completing the Plus project has helped to boost my confidence that I can do this! I am excited to move onto the next course.
This is my 3rd workshop I finished from SheCodes - I am so proud of the progress I've made and how this course has helped me reignite my passion for coding! So far I enjoyed the Responsive course the most as building weather apps was not really exciting to me. SheCodes Plus was certainly challenging for me. I had experienced a number of predicaments during this course. When I sought for help from the SheCodes support team, they offered me external sources to get educated on which I had struggled to understand. Also, I learned a lot from a student I came across whose project I found amazing and educational. As I reached out to her, she kindly replied to my message and shared her experience in coding. I have been truly enjoying my coding journey through SheCodes. It is truly fulfilling when I get to solve the issues and make my codes work. I cannot wait to learn with SheCodes further.

Very happy but more sad that the workshops are over. I completed all of them with a long break halfway through. React was the best workshop as it was a lot about advancing in front-end frameworks, structuring code and building something very interesting from scratch. The projects were the parts I enjoyed most as for me it is more important to have something to show instead of "just" a certificate. I felt guided and supported throughout the workshops with a great balance between autonomy and dependence. I really liked that Matt is so authentic when the code didn't work, e.g. "my god this is the kind of stuff you could spend hours on fixing this" made my day. 🥐🥰

SheCodes is an incredible experience. I never thought I would be able to code since I had the stigma that coding and programming languages were something complicated.
