This course was great! I loved the flexibility! Life happened many times and I kept pushing my start date back until over a year after I signed up, and then again a few times once I started. But because of this I was able to actually do the work and learn from the class! I really appreciate that I was able to do this class for my own enrichment amongst my insane and unpredictable schedule and not have to stress! Perhaps once things calm down again I'll take another class, it was fun to see a final project using all the techniques I learned!
Loved learning how to use react. I'll admit it was a bit tricky learning how to resolve the terminal issues regarding software versions. I look forward to experimenting more with react and creating new projects.
The final Project was so much fun. Creating my own Portfolio page with multiple pages and links to other pages🫶. I'm so happy that SheCodes helped me in so many ways. Loved it.😁💕

Matt's program is incredibly easy to learn, with the information broken into bite-sized pieces that you can easily fit in to your busy schedule. I had some previous knowledge in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and the structured curriculum made it easy to review the basics, while challenging myself into more advanced topics. What set this course apart was the weekly deadlines and its commitment to staying current — covering the latest updates and best practices in web development. The challenges in each lesson provided a practical edge, allowing me to immediately apply and update my skills. The course had a cool interactive setup with example projects, and we could chat and get support on Slack. It felt like a community, making learning not just educational but also really fun. Overall, it's a must for anyone looking to learn the basics from zero and/or refresh their knowledge in web development.
I was super excited to create this project. I had so much fun and I gained so much experience and confidence to do "bigger" projects. I learned more in javascript and I am excited to go build different applications with what I have learned.
Possibly the most fun project IMO as of yet. Still lots and lots to learn but slowly starting to wrap my head around things!

SheCodes Plus definitely was a challenge in comparison to the previous course. I enjoyed it though! I am learning so much and I know I wouldn't have been disciplined enough to get this far on my own. Thank you, so much Matt and SheCodes crew! For anyone considering Plus, my best advice would be to make sure you set aside at least an hour or two every day to work on your project. I got behind by trying to do the week's worth of work in one night a few times.

I just completed the basic front-end course, and I have to say it was a nice experience. The content was well-structured and easy to follow, even for someone with minimal prior knowledge in web development. The instructors were knowledgeable and did an excellent job explaining concepts in a simple and understandable way. The hands-on exercises and projects were especially helpful and fun, as they allowed me to apply what I learned in a practical context.
React is difficult to learn. I appreciate that this project used multiple components of React to build on learning from the last module.
The SheCodes Plus workshop really helped me to develop my coding skills even further! The use of JavaScript is way more intense in this one, but it shows how powerful and dynamic this language can be. As usual, it is also important to point out that it's always appreciated that Matt takes you step by step along the lessons, otherwise, those who are very new to coding (like myself) may lose their footing. But, even if that happened, a member of the team would always help me in Slack :) I learnt a great deal and had fun working towards my final project! I am so looking forward to start with the next workshops now so I can learn how to use React!
I had a lot of fun building this website and applying everything that I learnt into one project. It was quite challenging to learn all of the different frameworks but it was worth the time and effort to build the skills.
So much new information squeezed into a single week, and a nice little project to practice it all.
When a cancer diagnosis turned my life upside down and I had to find my way back to life after treatment, this course was a glimmer of hope and helped me to believe in myself. The SheCodes Basics course was incredibly motivating and empowered me to start my coding journey. It made me realize that I want to make a career switch towards tech. I think the SheCodes Basic course is a wonderful option to get into coding, and you can tinker with your own projects with the new knowledge.

I really loved working on this project. I went along and created step-by.-step following each video and then modified colors, style etc. at the end. Instructions were really clear and it was easy to build while following each video so that there were only final tweaks left at the end before submitting the final project.
Doing SheCodes Plus was a lot of fun, it was an amazing journey that I enjoyed in every lesson. Learning about API's was really cool and still can't believe I made an weather app, it was really awesome and I can't thank SheCodes enough. This course and project helped me look at detail as I was utilizing pure HTML and CSS. It was a great experience in how a website comes to life when utilizing these two components.

It was very easy to follow along and easy to understand. It does a good job of introducing you to coding to see if you'll be interested in continuing to pursue it or not. It was a lot of fun for me to utilize my creativity to create my final project. Really enjoyed it!

I had a lot of fun creating the weather app, learnt a lot & grow a lot from the process. Do you know that you can inject HTML directly from JS? Well, I didn't, but now I do! I love tough challenges & can't wait to be faced with more challenging projects!

My instructor Matt Delac was not only highly knowledgeable but also incredibly passionate about web development, which made the learning process engaging and enjoyable. One of the aspects that I found most beneficial was the hands-on approach to learning. The class incorporated numerous practical exercises and projects that allowed me to apply what I learned immediately.
