I have never taken any coding classes before SheCodes as I am a registered nurse, but after starting my hobby of building replica Star Wars droids I found it was useful to learn some basic coding. I started with some Arduino projects which I really enjoy so I was looking to learn some new computer languages. SheCode was fun and helpful by having homework that made me apply what I was learning with each lesson. I hope to keep on building what I learned in the basics course.

Hey. I thought I couldn't make it every time I was ending a homework. Turns out that now I know how to code... Really liked SheCodes, I'm also thinking about trying others classes that they have, Thank you Matt and all of SheCodes team for this project.
This course was so much fun! It's centred on building a world clock app, giving participants the opportunity to work with JavaScript libraries for fetching and parsing time zones. There is a good balance between providing learning content and techniques, while also encouraging personal creativity and project direction. I particularly enjoyed getting creative with vanilla CSS and implementing themes to reflect different times of day.
As a result of taking SheCodes course, I feel more confident in my ability to develop web applications. The course has given me the skills and knowledge to build my own projects ansdto continue learning on my own. These past few weeks have been very demanding but extremely interesting as coding became increasingly complex. Whenever I thought I already knew a subject, or at least understood its logic, the next lesson would break my confidence and increase my frustation. However, when you see your project developing and you are the one responsible for it, all the previous stress no longer make sense. It's a journey, not a sprint, so be patient with yourself, even if it doesn't seem like it, we are evolving step by step. Everything is explained in layman terms to better understand what each code does and how it can be implemented into what one is trying to build. One thing i like about the SheCodes community is how fast they respond once you send a message in need of assistance. Not only do the technical team respond, but the other ladies in the program also respond if they are able to assist. I would definitely recommend to someone who wants to learn how to code. It has been another exciting and insightful SheCodes workshop. Learning how to code responsive websites feels like an important step in becoming an expert developer. Creating my own web presence in the course of the workshop was a terrific experience and taught me how to manage a small project on my own.
I had an amazing experience with SheCodes workshop. The course structure is well paced and easy to follow, even for someone like me who is new to coding. The hands-on projects were particularly helpful in solidifying my understanding. Overall, i highly recommend SheCodes to anyone looking to dive into the world of coding.
It was so much fun to work with this project even though it was challenging! I started out not knowing anything about coding but I made it here.This shows how amazing Matt's teaching is. He makes everything easy to understand and fun to learn about. I am thankful to SheCodes.
The basics course was such a wonderful introduction to coding! Do not let its short timeframe fool you - you learn a ton of new things during those three weeks. The projects are fun and engaging, and comprehensive explanations are provided in the 'solution' videos. This course is for everyone who wants a smooth introduction into the coding world.
The Add-on project was very interesting and entertaining, I really enjoyed working on it!
