I liked that the workshop was project focused so you got the chance to work on the same project over several lessons and see your work evolve.
The Basics Add-on expanded further on what I learned in the introductory workshop, providing me with a solid foundation for my coding journey. I enjoyed working on the Landing Page project as it dived more deeper into CSS its properties and selectors.

Courses material were structured well, learned the workflow on deploying a project, from planning to structure to development. I enjoyed learning how to overcome the errors and learn to understand the importance proper structure of codes for quick troubleshoot.

The culmination of this course was the creation of a fully functional, multi-page website, which allowed my to apply everything I had learned - from responsive design and CSS utilities to SEO best practices and deployment on Netlify. Definitely a challenging course, I feel it took me a lot of time to understand some parts which could have been explained better. Going back to work on the weather project was not the best in terms of motivation, I would have preferred doing a different work. But overall there is a lot to learn for sure.

First becoming a little familiar with React before jumping into creating a React project in VSCode allowed for a smoother introduction to React. I liked that it was a similar project to the SheCodes Plus weather app but in React. This made the differences and possibilities of React much more noticeable and it made it easier for me to understand React and to apply it to other projects. Having to combine the skills learned in this course with the skills learned from the basics one was a little bit challenging in terms of remembering all the codes, but it was not a struggle as I could just go back to the old lessons without any hassles. This first workshop was quite educational and above all I found it entertaining, the challenges of each class along with the homework and the final project were a challenge but without a doubt I learned a lot, I am excited to continue learning.
