A good workshop that provided me with further insights into my learnings from the Basics workshop. The Basics Add-on expanded further on what I learned in the introductory workshop, providing me with a solid foundation for my coding journey. I enjoyed working on the Landing Page project as it dived more deeper into CSS its properties and selectors.

Courses material were structured well, learned the workflow on deploying a project, from planning to structure to development. Definitely a challenging course, I feel it took me a lot of time to understand some parts which could have been explained better. Going back to work on the weather project was not the best in terms of motivation, I would have preferred doing a different work. But overall there is a lot to learn for sure.

Highly recommend! The structure of the course is perfect. First becoming a little familiar with React before jumping into creating a React project in VSCode allowed for a smoother introduction to React. I liked that it was a similar project to the SheCodes Plus weather app but in React. This made the differences and possibilities of React much more noticeable and it made it easier for me to understand React and to apply it to other projects. The project we had to do for the add-on course was absolutely fun! Having to combine the skills learned in this course with the skills learned from the basics one was a little bit challenging in terms of remembering all the codes, but it was not a struggle as I could just go back to the old lessons without any hassles. When I enrolled for my first week on SheCodes Basics, I had some knowledge about web development but nothing close what I have learnt these past three weeks. Basics Add-On was nothing but a blast. At first it was a bit intimidating, but as time (and lessons) went by, I realized I was having so much fun. I'm driven by aesthetics, and getting the chance to play around with them while working on my project was simply the best.

I feel like I struggled so much with React, but having Matt provide step-by-step examples helped so much. I learned so much and was able to create a project I enjoy and would use.
After attending the free workshop, I decided to sign up and try something new. Each week is broken up into smaller more manageable assignments and videos. They were easy to follow and made all the information much easier to understand. I really enjoyed using my creativity and new skills for the final project.
