This workshop is mindblowing I came here with no idea of how to code but now I can confidently say that it is a thing of the past I'm so glad I chose this career path, React is not so easy when you start but once you put your all into it then it becomes a little bit easy to understand Matt is such an incredible tutor and coach grateful.
I enjoyed this "Basics Add-on" course SO much. This time, I learned in-depth about CSS and styling the landing page that I created. There was a moment where it became a bit frustrating, but I got immediate lend a hand by a fellow student. She helped me crack the code. It wasn't easy and a bit advance for me at this level, but I get through this with the help I needed. I'm hoping I can be as agile–in coding–as her in the future! She's an inspirational and I think this why SheCodes existed. So women can inspire each other! Thank you Matthieu Delac and SheCodes team! ✨

I've just completed the Python Basics course, which I liked but didn’t love. The instructional videos with Matt were definitely educational, and I learned a lot of theory. However, I felt the course lacked practical exercises, which I believe is the most important aspect of coding. Some videos included homework that took only a few minutes, while others had no practice at all. As an absolute beginner, I managed to get through the course by copying Matt (and leaning on AI), but I don’t feel confident applying these skills in the real world.
I used to think AI is over one's head ,but when i watched videos and followed instructions i then realized that its not how i thought , with the help of Matt
This is such a great course, which has taught me so much over the past 3 weeks. I would recommend this course to everyone! Matt is a great tutor and having the videos means you can refer back to them when necessary. Also, Slack is such a super resource and you can find the answer to most questions on there.
I'm genuinely impressed by how readable and intuitive Python is as a programming language. In this workshop, I delved into learning how to manipulate large data and create visual representations using Python. Despite the occasional complexity and the sometimes tedious nature of the tasks, the experience was incredibly rewarding. Thanks to Matt and team. It not only sharpened my skills in data handling but also deepened my understanding of data analysis and visualisation. It was awesome to learn React and build a React weather app. Matt, the instructor, made it easy for me to understand the React concept. This is the best React tutorial I have ever encountered.
Making the project was a real fun. The explanations by Matt were pretty clear, I didn't need any extra information in order to finish the project. The workshop helped me to become even more confident that I might be able to learn the skill of coding.
After about 20 years spent in the tourism industry, I decided to start a brand new career path. It all started with an add promoting coding workshops for women. So far, the coding world appeared to me as daunting and out of reach. It was not. Within one webinar, I was hooked. It was possible. I could do it. I am doing it. This workshop proved to be quite challenging but with patience and really listening to what Matt was saying helped alot. Although it was challenging, building my weather app in phases really helped me see where it was headed and it made it feel less overwhelming. It was really fun just learning advanced techniques and having a little bit of a deep dive into what it will be like in the field of Front -end development.

I still can't believe I created a fully functional Weather Application! I won't lie, JavaScript is a little tricky but with Matt's help you definitely get there in the end.
SheCodes Plus was a challenging and interesting course. A deeper dive into html css and js gave me more understanding of these applications and their functionalities. The weekly lessons, challenges and assignments helped strengthened my understanding of these applications, and coding in general. So far, I like how the lessons have been structured to make learning easy and fun, as well as to avoid long boring sessions. I'm in love with the SheCodes bootcamp program so far. I get so excited every time I got up from the bed to immediately crack the code challenge that Matt has given. It's all I can think of these days. The basic program IS really fun. I must admit sometimes I struggled some challenges, but thank god there's SheCodes Slack community. Whenever I encountered any problem with my coding, I immediately looked if there is anybody who had the same problem as I am. And most the answers are inside there!

It was extremely exciting learning how to work with API. I have to thank Matt for making the videos easy to follow and the information so digestible. I really enjoyed this workshop. As I keep going, it just cements in me that I can do hard things. Matt is a really great instructor. And I enjoy the fact that he does not edit out his mistakes or comes off as if he knows everything there is. I like that he Googles when he's stuck and acknowledges when he makes mistakes and assures you not to panic if it happens to you. It helps to know that its okay to make mistakes and that there is always a way to fix them.
Honestly, this workshop was not easy, but thanks to instructor Matt and the whole SheCodes team, I was able to advance from basic to more advanced skills. Having no previous coding experience I decided to give SheCodes a go. A great incentive was the 1 hour free workshop with Matt that gave a brief introduction to coding.
