Where do I even begin?! My experience with SheCodes has been nothing short of amazing! Matt is such a good teacher. I have done a few online courses on web development basics previously, but none of them come close to this one. I think Matt must've done a teaching course or something, because he is just so good. The course is well structured, and it gives the perfect opportunities for students to test their understanding of the work as they learn. What I ABSOLUTELY love about it is that it is tailored to cater for busy women. However, although it has flexibility in terms of deadlines, having strong personal goals to achieve via the skills learnt in this course, and furthermore knowing that there are other students you started the course at the same time as you who are doing their best to finish the course, pushes you to put in the work and finish! I am so happy I took the course, and look forward to learning more through the next one. Thank you SheCodes!

This project was very challenging but it made me realize that once your start feeling comfortable with coding, everything goes smoothly and you feel more confident with the new skills you’re acquiring. The experience was amazing! The course material was organized and comprehensible, even for a complete coding beginner like myself. After seeing a SheCodes ad online, I became very interested when I saw it was geared solely to women. I was worried whether it was too late for me to learn coding and start a new career path, but this was the best decision I have ever made. I really enjoyed this workshop; I did struggle with JavaScript, but the mini challenges helped me and also Matt explanation. CSS styles was new to me and using these skills and putting it toward my final project shows how much I have achieved. I am looking forward to learning more.
I had the chance to brush up on my HTML and CSS knowledge during Week 1 of SheCodes Plus and investigate more complex components and selectors. It was simple for me to follow along and refresh my memory because the content was organized clearly and was provided in a straightforward, succinct manner. Working with many files, an area where I had previously struggled, was one of the highlights for me. Also, Matt deserves praise for his superb teaching abilities. Even the most complicated concepts were simple to understand because of him, and his interesting, well-paced videos. Overall, SheCodes Plus is a fantastic resource for anyone wishing to advance their web coding abilities.

I came back to SheCodes after two years and what can I say...another great course by the SheCodes crew! This basic add-on course helped me to understand how to built animations and grid in HTML and CSS. As always Matt explain everything in a very clear and understandable way. I am happy and I am sure that I will make another new add-on courses.
Every lesson in each week was enjoyable and learnable. Coach Matteu has a way of breaking complex task to be simple. When I started the lessons, I thought I wouldn't be able to complete them because of its complexities; but as we progressed, it became too real to be true. This workshop was challenging in a fun way and pushes you to learn extensively throughout the explanative videos. While I still do not 100% understand all of the Javascript and function creations have done throughout the project, it was an extremely rewarding feeling following the SheCodes API and putting in the correct conditions. I'm glad it was broken down into multi-week portions as it was HEFTY. I am grateful for the experience and have a project I can look back on and go "Oh yeah we did this here" and I get to dissect it even further while going deeper into learning code. It makes me appreciate the individuals who do this for a living. Hopefully, I too will get to the point where everything "just clicks" as it does for Matt Delac in his informative videos!

This course was the most difficult, but with Matt's good explanation everything became clear. Sometimes I got stuck trying to figure out how to fix or do something. In general, I am satisfied with the work done and my project made in React. Matt is an excellent teacher and in this course helped to understand the main features of working on React. SheCodes Responsive has been my FAVORITE course so far! Going from making single page websites to having a full blown site with multiple pages that responds to different screens and is optimized for Google SEO.... in about three weeks of full time work? I cannot recommend Matt and the SheCodes team enough!
I had a really great time learning HTML, CSS and JS in this workshop. I liked the assignments we got, they left us with full room for creativity and our imagination to design them the way we like. The SheCodes React course was the most difficult and I still have a lot to learn; however, it was informative and tons of fun building new sites. I hope to change careers in the near future. I always thought that coding would be too hard for me after having one coding course at the university a few years ago. Another exciting and challenging workshop! I really liked the Responsive workshop which made me able to build a portfolio that looks good on any device. Like the previous workshops every step is explained by Matt and you can check your progress through the challenges before writing the code for the final project. I can't wait for React now!

I've learned so much in the past two weeks!! Java dealt with me, but Matt is a great teacher. He did a great job at breaking it down and making it as easy to understand as possible. I enjoyed the little activities after each lesson to practice what I've learned. And the final project for the Basics workshop was fun to do! Would highly recommend it, 100/10!!
