I could never imagine finishing a whole series of coding courses altogether. I never could get past HTML and CSS but there is something about Matt and SheCodes that makes you HOOKED. coding gets fun with the weekly and daily challenges provided in each section and the way he tackles issues and bugs like a normal human and we can all see that everyone makes mistakes during this path. I can not stress enough how much this course has been beneficial to me since I started it and it has been a year since I started SheCodes Basic. This full-year of overcoming bugs and issues not only helped me through my career but also helped me grow personally. I really enjoyed the SheCodes Basics course! My only previous experience I had with coding was when I designed blogs 10 years ago, which required some understanding of HTML and CSS. JavaScript was completely new to me, but Matt's way of teaching made it easier to understand. This course is definitely less information-dense than SheCodes Plus and, since you don't use JS to make a website responsive, much easier to understand! I also think the way Matt explains how to use Bootstrap in this course is much clearer than in SCP and you learn fundamental skills to make your website look great on all devices :) I personally still struggle a bit when Matt becomes messy and confusing but he's also really funny and engaging - never boring!
I am just amazed how far I have gone through with this online coding workshop thru SheCodes.io. I have learned a lot and be able to build my portfolio with the help of my teacher, Matt Delac. Honestly, taking the Shecodes basic workshop classes ,has been quite journey for me so far for a very long time i always wanted to learn coding but always felt that is was to hard for me and a bit intimidating , so i always put the idea to the side but now i see i have been missing out this whole time, i admit the courses were a bit challenging because of the timing i had between my work schedule and etc but it was so much worth it I feel more confident to take it to the next level and continue on my journey in coding, thanks to Shecodes and Matt i know it is possible now.
Ooooof, this was much tougher. Not so much because of the material itself, that was fine, more so because I had to supplement a lot of Matt's Lessons with my own research due to how recent end ever-updating React is. I believe this, more than any other SheCodes Course gives us a true taste of what working as a developer is like. Suffered but earned satisfaction from this one.
It took me a while to start the course as I thought it would be too had for me, but honestly it was so easy to follow and you had a step by step guide and help along the way. I really feel like I have learned a lot from this course and proud of myself that I have finished this course. Matt really explained everything so well. I loved the process of building my very first portfolio along with Matt's explanations and guidance. I was able to practice everything I learned during this workshop.
When I say React showed me flames! It showed me flames! There were moments when I just felt like shutting my laptop and calling it. But I took breaks and rewatched Matt about a dozen times and I managed to get it down. I need to code more using react to better understand it but I now have a good basic understanding of it. I recently got hired for a new and exciting role in my school division (I am a teacher) as an Educational Technology Coordinator. A part of my role will also be working with computers and computer science, so I wanted to get a headstart this summer on improving my basic coding skills. From the first webinar, I knew that SheCodes would be a great program fit for me. You can go at your own pace, however, I found it really easy to complete the lessons and homework earlier than anticipated. The entire SheCodes Basics program was so easy to follow - I loved the lessons and Matt is a wonderful teacher who explains things. You can tell he is very passionate about coding and has so much knowledge to share. I learned many practical tips. The homework is challenging, however, with supports like the Slack channel and Athena AI, I had no issues. This was my second workshop with SheCodes, and I found it more challenging than the first, but Matt made everything easy to understand. I want to thank the SheCodes team and Matt Delac for their hard work and dedication to helping people improve their coding skills. I highly recommend the SheCodes Plus workshop to anyone who wants to take their coding skills to the next level.
Awesome, well-explained, and entertaining course. Although coding was never my passion, I fell in love with it, understood the challenges, and overcame some (try centering divs, gosh). I had an amazing experience learning React on SheCodes! The course was well-structured and beginner-friendly, making it easy for someone like me, with limited coding knowledge, to dive into the world of web development. I am very excited about this opportunity to learn more about tech as I come from a background in healthcare. I have always found coding interesting, but I never felt confident enough to sign up for courses. The SheCodes program has created a safe space for me to learn and challenged my abilities in a positive way. Truly enjoyed the past 3/4 weeks learning how to code with SheCodes. The course was very engaging and I managed to complete it despite my busy schedule with work. It has given me enough confidence to code on my own and build on my knowledge. Thanks a lot, Matt!
*sighs* What a challenging 3 weeks learning coding with no I.T. background. I really learnt how to be patient with myself although it was frustrating at times. Must say the videos Matt created are quite helpful and make it very easy to learn and apply. I'm very proud of myself and would definitely recommend SheCodes to everyone willing to up their skills to better themselves.

SheCodes offers super fun, easy to follow courses. The deadlines are reasonable, and explanations are very clear, kudos to Matt. Also, I must say the UI of the page is amazing.

As someone who had little to no prior coding knowledge, I was initially hesitant about diving into such a technical subject. Participating in the SheCodes Plus workshop has been an incredible journey that has exceeded all of my expectations.
