When I began my coding journey with SheCodes foundation for women, I had zero coding background and now I can confidently say I have a solid foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript .I am excited to learn more about coding and tackle more advanced coding challenges. Thank you to Matt for explaining everything in a beginner friendly manner and making the workshops a positive learning experience.

I absolutely loved learning how to make my website responsive, especially since I mostly browse the internet on my phone! I have to go back now and apply this knowledge to all my past projects. Matt was, again, a very thorough teacher and the lessons were paced perfectly.

SheCodes Basics is a very insightful and practical course for anyone who wants to learn HTML, CSS and Javascript from scratch. I enjoyed watching videos and completing my homework to practice what I had just learned. The format is super engaging and all the knowledge and tips that Matt shares are golden!

I had an amazing learning experience with SheCodes. The interactive lessons and homeworks made the journey enjoyable, I feel confident and inspired to continue exploring the world of coding.

Before taking the SheCodes Responsive course, I had a basic understanding of HTML and CSS, but my websites looked clunky on different devices. This course completely changed that! I learned the fundamentals of responsive design in a clear and engaging way, with plenty of hands-on practice through small challenges and a final project. The instructor, Matt Delac, explained complex concepts in an easy-to-understand way, using real-world examples and humor to keep things engaging. The course wasn't just theory. We practiced our skills with weekly challenges and built a multi-page responsive website as our final project. This helped me solidify my understanding and gain real-world experience. SheCodes Responsive Add-On was probably the most challenging for me to date. However, I kept consistent and persevered through this workshop! Thanks Matt for all the new techniques I learned in this one!

This add-on was a great addition to the responsive course! I enjoyed learning how to make a website without bootstrap. I cannot believe what I am able to create now. It is incredible to see how far I have come throughout my SheCodes coding journey. I am so ready for the React course!

The "SheCodes Plus Add-on" workshop was fantastic. The overview set clear expectations, and diving into HTML input types, select elements, JavaScript timing events, date formats, and time zones was incredibly beneficial. Loved learning more through this add on!

Matthew explains React very simply and fluently so that anyone who is not familiar with any framework can easily understand it. But this course is far from the complete topics of React and maybe only 20% of React was discussed. I suggest that after completing this course, look for learning more about React

Shecodes Foundation was among my answered prayers as of last year 2023 and an incredible learning experience! it was challenging and fun all together that I cant even think of giving up but rather stick to being productive and learning new skills, which i never thought in 3 weeks time I'd acquire as much as I do now when it comes to coding. I have been studying coding for a while now with another platform for the paste 9months and it became tiring and vhim killing to learn. The tutorial was bad until a friend recommended shecodes. Within 2 weeks on just basics i've understood and can do what i couldn't do before studying for 9months. Matt is a blessing. I am determined to finish through with good understanding.

This was a good course overall, however, I thought it was a bit of a jump from the Basics course. The JS was much more complex here and at times it was quite hard to follow along to videos. However, I really enjoyed the last two weeks of having no challenges, just simply the lessons so that we could take time to implement what we learned previously.

SheCodes is the perfect course to use when starting your coding journey. Each video has been extremely helpful and I've been having so much fun learning to code!

I had an enriching learning experience completing my most recent React Development workshop with SheCodes in September 2022. I was able to strengthen my skills in front-end development through the process of building a new and improved weather app. I look forward to putting my newly acquired skills to the test as I venture out into the world and make my first steps toward my first creative career. With my SheCodes certifications under my belt, I was able to join my university's marketing team as a web associate, build a new website for a non-profit, and more, all while working towards my undergraduate degree. Thank you, SheCodes, for making learning to code fun and exciting! I hope to be back soon to learn from you again. 

SheCodes Plus was another incredibly valuable workshop. This online workshop format delivers well-structured and sophisticated content, which has been motivating and interesting since day one. Learning the fundamentals of HTML, page styling with advanced CSS techniques and page animation with more sophisticated JavaScript functions and applying those techniques instantaneously on a real-life project is a perfect way of taking it all in. Learning how to integrate APIs into my code fetching real data and how to get into a development workflow using code management tools that professionals use, felt pretty amazing, while designing and building my own fully functioning weather app.

I learn so much from these lessons, it's great! Matt makes it super easy to follow along, and the slack chat is always there if you get stuck.

SheCodes is the easiest coding workshop I have done thus far and Matt is an amazing teacher. SheCodes works with your schedule.
