I'm a professional touring musician and looking to try to stay a little more stationary which will perhaps come with a bit of career transitioning. I loved the SheCodes Basic Course and am interested in learning more coding and pursuing it is a remote career option!

My SheCodes Basics story is that it was tough but an exhilarating experience. This was a really insightful workshop, really touching on the structure of websites and search engines in depth. This might be the most fun I have had in coding and creating my first AI generator. I am happy I completed this course because the doubts and fears of learning to code AI was not as intimidating as I thought. The World Clock app is an interesting and fun add-on project to code. I especially love learning about Moment.js (what a lifesaver it is!) and incorporating new functionalities outside the project criteria to challenge myself. I was able to apply what I've learned from past workshops to code another awesome app!

During Responsive Web Development course I was impressed by interesting developing world. Learning about responsive design and implementing it in my final project was new experience for me, but so interesting. I explored new skills and technologies and provided it in my project.
I had always wanted to learn coding, but I was intimidated by the complexity and the time commitment. That’s why I applied for this workshop, and I’m so glad I did. It was such a great, easy, and fun way to learn HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other great stuff like hosting and responsiveness. The instructor was very kind and helpful, and the exercises were challenging but rewarding. I learned a lot of stuff in a very short time, and I was able to create my own web page by the end of the workshop. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone who wants to learn coding without feeling exhausted or frustrated. Trust me, you won’t regret it!

I found this module quite challenging and fun at the same time. Being a beginner coder, this module took me through all the essential basic skills I needed. My favorite part was learning how to make my buttons work in JavaScript.

Coding can be so intimidating when you're starting but SheCodes Basics made it very accessible. Another React workshop came to it's end but this time diving deeper into React, and I've got to say, it was another fantastic experience! Just like the forecast project we did earlier, this workshop was a blast. One of the things I really appreciated about this workshop was how it helped me understand more about loops and working with double APIs. React can be a bit tricky to wrap your head around sometimes, but Matt really knows how to break it down into manageable chunks. Overall, I learned a ton and had a great time doing it. Can't wait to see what i will be learning and coding next! 🤍
I signed up for SheCodes because I needed a new career path after being a stay at home parent for the last 11 years. I have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from about 14 years ago and things were so different back then!
