LOVED this course. I have always preferred self paced courses due to life's natural pivot to chaos. SheCodes has TONS of resources for when you run into a confusing section on a assignment, personal project, or you decide to take creative liberties elsewhere. The classes were very well organized to where I could go back to a previous lesson to help me understand what I'm doing incorrect outside of the course. I was able to learn so efficiently that I was hospitalized for a few days, bed rest for a month, and came back into the coursework with excitement and understanding. Matt's sense of humor was also a PLUS. Happy Coding😊🌤️10/10

I was interested in learning HTML, CSS, and Javascript because I love the idea of being able to immediately see the changes you are making as you go. I found that I do indeed love this functionality of front-end development and have realised Javascript is a very powerful language and very fun to use when coupled with HTML and CSS!

I had a basic understanding of languages like HTML and CSS, and a bit of JavaScript.However over time, I found myself losing some of that initial knowledge. But after enrolling in the basics workshop everything changed. The program helped me better understand the concepts I had initially had problems with and even with those I had forgotten. This made the entire learning process simple and easy. This initiative has been a transformative experience for me and I am excited to continue building on my newly solidified skills.

Before enrolling in SheCodes, I was enrolled in a different coding workshop which I did not succeed in. I was left feeling discouraged, disappointed and incapable of learning to code. Since enrolling in SheCodes, my entire attitude has changed. The way the lessons are structured allows me to practice at my own pace and feel excited when problems arise. I am eager to begin the add-on projects and develop my own portfolio, which is something I never before saw possible. Overall, I would recommend SheCodes to anyone seeking my guidance! SheCodes Responsive has enabled me to take my skills that I had learnt from SheCodes previous courses to a more advanced level. With this course, I have gained knowledge on how to code applications that are responsive, meaning that they display correctly on a range of devices through the incorporation of media queries and bootstrap utility classes. Overall this course has pushed me further and allowed me to feel more confident in my ability as a front-end developer.
I had no knowledge of coding before starting SheCodes. I have learnt a lot of new skills. I am now able to continue developing them with the tools SheCodes have given me.
it exceeded my expectations! The hands-on approach made learning coding concepts seamless. Loved makiing projects as the theme of these projects are easy to grasp and interesting to make. I am so grateful for this amazing opportunity to learn coding. I have experienced many educational programs in my life, I am a psychologist-coach, teacher and educational author, and I can honestly say that this was the best course ever. Course structure: The lessons are incredibly well structured, showing excellent insight in what the student is going through. For example, just when I felt like I needed to review the previous material because it was getting a little bit overwhelming, the next lesson - week 7- was a recap in which everything we had learnt was reviewed. Course content: Next to that, each lesson was a tiny step, so I never felt lost or confused. This is a key point to the course: it could seem incredibly overwhelming, but because of the small steps you suddenly arrive at the destination without realizing it! Individual learning path: The program also gives you the option to choose which level you want to engage in. For instance, the final project had two options, a basic and a more ellaborate one. And when working on the weekly challenges you can ask for help or get some hints if you want to. In terms of what we learn, I have consulted with software developers and they say it's a very complete program. Support! The SheCodes team is also very supportive and responsive: they are always available on Slack or email to answer any questions or help with any issues very quickly so when things got challenging it was nice to know that they were there. Their tone was always very friendly and they always put a smile on my face. Also, through Slack, other students help as well. SheCodes community: Last but not least, what really makes this experience unforgettable is the sense of community that the course creates. The SheCodes Radio we got from Matt just did it for me :) :). Thank you SheCodes! I enrolled in the Basic Course and then I immediately signed up for the Max course. Now that the Plus course is almost over, I am so glad I did, because I don't want to stop here! If you doubt whether to enrol or not, just DO IT! You will be so happy you did!

This workshop was exciting for me. I didn't expect to take an Intro to AI workshop but I learned a lot. I highly recommend to anyone that is coding.
After trying the free class, I was a little concerned about how the lessons would go. But I had nothing to worry about - Matt's explanations were easy to follow, and I liked the provided challenges to help solidify what you just learned. The Slack community was also a great source to ask questions (chances are, someone already asked the same one before!), and so I felt like it was truly self-paced since I didn't need to wait for people to get back to me. I am so excited to keep learning!

I've been looking to change careers and knew this is something I wanted to look into but didn't know where to start, or if I'd even enjoy it. I wasn't willing to go back to school and get yet another degree for something I wasn't sure about. I'm glad I found SheCodes! This is a great place to start and get a feel for it. Instruction is good & projects are challenging. I've learned a lot already in just the basics. Support from SheCodes seems great as well, though I haven't needed to reach out myself yet. Now I have some confidence in pursuing this career and my ability to do it. I'm excited to keep moving forward and wouldn't have done this without finding SheCodes!

I really enjoyed the SheCodes Basics workshop. I've had some experience with HTML/CSS prior to the workshop, but it's been great to refresh my memory and learn a few new things. I really liked Matt's approach to JavaScript, since this was the subject that I was most worried about. But the lessons are understandable, and after a few exercises I've got the hang of it.

After making the decision to make a change in my career path, I was introduced to SheCodes by my friend. It was definitely a great way to be introduced to this field. SheCodes plus workshop is a blust🥳.. I started with basics and I was hooked, I fell inlove with coding then moved to plus and it has been a challenging and fun journey. Working and coding with AI is something that I didn't plan on diving into until later down the road but this was a very easy and concise introduction to using AI in your code.
