Learning React is not easy. It takes a lot of practice and understanding. I was learning it while doing my freelance work. The great thing is it is very flexible, timewise.

As an older learner, I began this course with some trepidation as I remember a time before the internet! Fortunately, Matt's excellent step by step instructions helped me to understand how a page is built, what works and why. I am eager to learn more now that I comprehend the basics.

It's been a wonderful three weeks, I feel extremely honored to be a part of the shecodes community. I have learned a lot in the last three weeks, and I must say that the SheCodes foundation has increased my confidence in my coding skills.

Shecodes made it easy for me to learn code, most of all by giving me more time. I was able to complete but it took time but I am really happy I was able to finish what I started. Ima looking forward to learning more as time goes on.

Another great addition to the courses, it was super fun to learn more about AI and how to get it to do what you want by talking to it like a human being sort of

3 Weeks back I knew nothing ,but now I know about html, CSS and javascript and all that was possible because of Shecodes. Thanks to Matt for being a awesome teacher and looking forward to learning more about coding.

React was definitely the most challenging workshop, but nevertheless a super fun one to learn and I can't wait to continue my coding path, thanks to SheCodes.

SheCodes Foundation is the best ever, the art of problem solving is amazing: coding is like solving puzzles in a constantly evolving game. Each line of code is a brushstroke in the masterpiece of problem-solving. I really enjoy learning how to code and the work was everything I needed to learn how to code. I am very much honored to have been chosen to be part of this project. Looking forward to more learning and more personal growth.

I was able to go at a steady pace, if I was tired i was able to give myself space and when I needed to get things done, I felt motivated, not stressed. I have enjoyed the courses so far and I have learned a lot. I am looking forward to what else I can learn from the other courses I am going to be taking!

I loved SheCodes Basics. The short learning videos are almost always accompanied by a practical exercise so it makes it really hands on. I liked that the videos are to-the-point, concise and don't go in too much details. It's not a 3-hour long lecture : after 15min, you're actually getting your hands dirty and learning actionable stuff! For me, it was the reassuring phrases from Matt like "don't worry, nothing's going to explode, it's just not good practice to do it like this" or "this might be confusing but do it like this for now and it'll all come together in the next video" or "ok, this is a hard exercise but you can do it and don't forget the community and tools that can help you" and of course : "Happy coding!".

This add-on was a very cool project to work on. The SheCodes courses has been so engaging and helpful to learn.

This is the second course I have taken with SheCodes. It's all new for me, it's a great challenge that is often frustrating, but on the other hand, it is very motivating when you see what you have created. Studying coding is like learning a new language, and I will continue studying until I can speak it better every time. The SheCodes support team is fundamental!

A great, short project to build on skills learned previously!

This workshop was a good opportunity to put together many of the things I've learned and it was very satisfying to see the final results!

This is my second time taking the course as I leveled up to complete the full stack. I appreciate how flexible the course cadence is as a mom of two. I can fit it in when I have time and ask for an extension if absolutely necessary. There is TONS of support online, with SheCodes Athena and the Slack channel. I can't believe how much I've actually learned since the first time around.

Attending the SheCodes workshop was an enlightening experience. I am starting off with absolutely no knowledge of coding whatsoever, coming into this I did a TON of research on courses, what's best to take, and why it's better than the others when I fell upon She Codes. The first thing that stood out to me was the free introduction video, I like to know what I am getting into and how the course will benefit me and I have to say the video truly gave me a lot of insight and was what convinced me to finally go for my dream and take that step. It took me over 2 years to begin, and here I am graduating from SheCodes Basic, and I feel like all that research and work is paying off. I learned basic skills in HTML, CSS and Javascript and I feel that I am ready to move onto the next phase in order to work towards my goal of working as a full stack developer.

It has only been three weeks of fun and I can't wait to learn more.

Participating in the SheCodes Responsive Add-on was a transformative experience where I mastered Pure CSS Grids, Responsive CSS Grids, HTML Tables, CSS Filters, HTML Embeds, and CSS Hero. This comprehensive skill set enabled me to create a website dedicated to my love for books. It wasn't just about learning to code; it was about blending my passion for literature with new technical abilities, showcasing how technology can amplify our interests and stories in the most beautiful ways.

From just the Basics, I have learned ALOT, as a complete beginner. It can be frustrating just missing one : or ; or ", but it definitely does take practice. I have a new respect for website design and the user experience.

A great start in web development, you learn all the basic information you need to build your project. I found it great how it helps you visualize what the development process is like, as well as what to expect while learning. All errors faced in development were also handled and were not cut from the video, which helped me know how to handle issues that are inevitable while coding.

I will forever be grateful for SheCodes foundation for giving me this life changing opportunity I cannot wait to start the react workshop. I had lots of fun learning how to develop a responsive web.

I had a lot of fun creating this app. There were difficult parts of creating this app but I had a lot of fun working out the bugs in my code. Matt made it easy to follow along and learn difficult concepts.

I decided to learn to code to upgrade my skills, and SheCodes was a great way to do it! The classes were detailed and easy to follow, and the class homeworks were doable yet still challenging. The Slack channel was also really useful when I was stumped on something - it was nice to be able to search discussions for problems others were also dealing with, and get help from the SheCodes team when I needed it. Overall, this was a great investment for me to learn the basics of coding.

SheCodes Plus taught me amazing and exciting things, which will help me in the world of coding. It was very fun to put all the theory learned into practice, I was fascinated with the final project! 🤩

SheCodes Plus challenged me way past my comfort zone and taught me many new skills. I learned more about CSS, HTML and JavaScript that I am excited to use in future projects.

Things became more challenging, but it has been fun trying to figure it out. I learned more, and took breaks instead of breaking my laptop 😅😅.

The past weeks l have been learning to code with SheCodes have been nothing short of extraordinary. I have learnt skills such as time management since the assignments have to be submitted after every week which allows for consistency and discipline. I love how the courses are grouped into short videos which are so easy to understand. With the help of Slack ,I have been able to correct my mistakes through the help of others. Slack has been a great instrument in teamwork and effective communication .I am so grateful to be a part of this opportunity.

In this workshop, I dedicated time to learning how to effectively use Bootstrap. Throughout the lessons I created a new portfolio website to reflect my growth as a developer. Since my career interests straddle web-development and content creation/ebook publishing, I created a portfolio to showcase both interests.

Hello, I am Elham Soldouzi. Before taking this course, I knew nothing about website design. But after going through this stage, I learned a lot of good things. Very good, interesting and efficient points were taught in this course and I am very grateful to the course instructor who taught the material patiently and in full detail.

It was fun, frustrating, exciting and rewarding. I have new skills now! Google is your friend as well as MDN. The best lesson I learnt is that it's better to take a break and come back with fresh eyes than to be working and frustrated. A nap is not a terrible idea at all.

By no means was the Plus course easy to get through but I will say, it was 1 million percent worth it and as the previous Basics course proved, the lessons, challenges and projects were so amazingly put together! As challenging as it was, I really enjoyed growing my skills further and I can't believe I have been able to build my own weather app with a 5 day forecast from scratch after just 3 months of learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript - here's to more learning with SheCodes Max!

This project was a good exercise to put into practice the things learned during the SheCodes Responsive workshop. It allowed me to strengthen my coding skills and apply them in a real-world context. I appreciated the opportunity to apply my knowledge while working on this project, which boosted my confidence in my programming abilities. As a beginner Coder, I was expecting to enter the program and struggle almost instantly. However, thankfully and gratefully, it was not! The lessons are challenging but once you get the solution you're hit with an "ah-hah" moment and that's enough to fuel your motivation to learn more.
