The React 6-week course was the perfect introduction to React. Everything is well explained and it was great to put together a weather application using React to see how it works in practice. I also enjoyed following along with the tutorial, but using the SheCodes API to build the application. Whilst Matt used the OpenWeather API at the time of the recording, I found it useful having a different API to use, to learn from his method, but adapt it based on a different API resource. I would highly recommend this course!
My experience with SheCodes Plus has been truly transformative. The course provided me with hands-on skills and practical knowledge in web development. Building a weather app from scratch was an incredible journey, as I learned to implement advanced JavaScript, API integration, and responsive design. It was fantastic. The explanation was clear and thorough! When Matt made mistakes and corrected them, I realized that, regardless of my errors, the most important thing was to understand the concepts, learn from them, and correct mistakes.

This course is easy to follow and my favorite part will always be the challenges and homework assignments. Even though it is titled a basic course, I've learned more than I've expected over the course of these few weeks.

Along our educational and professional path, we start narrowing our learnings to our main interest and objective and sometimes we forget we can set ourselves to learn anything. Making this course reminded me of our capacities, of how if we have the time and the means(!), which we do not always have, unfortunately, we can learn a new set of skills, for professional growth, personal growth, or even just for fun. This was fun, this gave me new skills that I hope to put to practice in my life.

Very informative add on to the weather app project we worked on during SheCodes plus. I learned a lot of new concepts. Working on something that can be challenging and being able to recreate it gave me a boost of confidence as a student developer. I think it's a great project to learn from and work on.

In this course we continued to learn Python. in our final project, we created a graph illustrating real world data.
I was able to learn alot more about js libraries in this project and it was interesting being able to create a world clock with a live timezone!

Great course to learn the basics
This was a good course, I think if you have done all the other shecodes workshops like me it feels very similar to some of what we already learnt and you will get through the modules quickly. That said its a refreshing change to purely focus on backend and looking forward to getting to the advanced module now.
As I continue my journey, I realize there is always more to learnβmore advanced coding techniques and approaches that are seemingly sophisticated yet easy and smart if one understands the underlying concepts or logic. Coding can become quite challenging at times, but consistent practice, perseverance, and patience are always the keys to go through.

Learning about how to build clock with timezone was interesting! The instructional is always very easy to follow and learn through.
I really enjoyed the pacing of this course and actually started working right along Matt, while he was explaining different concepts. Although it's a short one, I enjoyed learning about grids and applying transform effects to images.

As a BTech college student, I had limited experience with web development before attending the SheCodes Basic workshop. I can't express how much I enjoyed the SheCodes AI Add-on workshop. The experience was not only educational but also incredibly fun. One of the highlights for me was working with the AI API- it opened up new possibilities for integrating intelligent features into my projects. Additionally, learning how to use the Typewriter JS effect in my code was a fantastic way to add interactivity to my work. The AI generator project was rewarding. It really solidified my understanding of how AI can enhance and streamline the development process. As the saying goes, "The future belongs to those who know how to use AI as a tool to get ahead" - and I truly feel like I'm now equipped to do just that.

Joining SheCodes was the best decision I ever took, it taught me a lot about being in the technology space that it's not only about basic things but there's a lot that goes into everything that we see, even the movies that we watch. As someone who wants to be a Software developer in the near future, I definitely think SheCodes is a great way to start. And I honestly enjoyed every minute of coding, sometimes it can be challenging but it also taught me to have so much patience and perseverance and I hope to continue learning and to become the Software developer that I want to be.

I'd never imagine that I would be doing code. I did the basic class because I didn't know if i would be able to learn coding. This class is amazing and very easy to understand, you have to know I have never done coding before SheCodes. I can read, comprehend, and write code.
