Learning react is quite difficult, but with the help of Matt's clear explanations, I built my first ever react weather app. This course is highly recommended to anyone who wants to start leaning react.
This SheCodes workshop was amazing! I learned all about AI integration, writing code to work with different AI models, and even how to tweak CSS using JavaScript. Plus, I got to play around with useful JavaScript plugins. Best part? I built my own AI Inspirational Quote Generator using everything I learned. At University, I learned about HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, but I didn't feel confident about my skills until I joined SheCodes. After months of returning to studies in the field of technology, from which I had been away for almost 4 years, I went through a journey from the basics like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to more advanced information like understanding how GitHub works, hosting, exploring Visual Studio Code, and many other knowledge areas that revolve around development. Finally, I have reached the most current and exciting learning, which utilizes and expands all this knowledge: React. I can assure you that it was challenging yet gratifying to apply all the knowledge acquired, as well as my hobbies and patience, to complete this rewarding project. I recognize that I still have much to learn and improve to expand my skills, and I am grateful to the SheCodes team, who provided me with the support, encouragement, and motivation needed to take this further step in my journey
After taking a long break to learn a new role I have come back. It was amazing how much information I have already retained and how easy it was to just back in right where I left off. I attribute my success to the easy to follow directions of SheCodes and their wealth of resources. Of course after a few bumps along the way I finally have a beautiful portfolio.

I've had such a fantastic experience working through this 8 week course. Through other course providers I had attempted to understand GitHub and JavaScript, but struggled to grasp the mechanics of them, however Matt has done it again! Not only do I feel super confident with GitHub, I'm also no longer struggling with JS. I had also previously started to look into APIs, but daren't have gone much further at that point. I'm delighted to have learned how to integrate APIs within my code and have managed to create a functionable weather app as a result. I'm excited to see what will come next. Thanks again Matt!

I really enjoyed getting to learn to code with SheCodes, it has made me realize that I can do more than I think.
This chapter was hard, however I enjoyed learning every bit of it.
Getting to the final project was truly a journey however when it was time for my final and just completing the mock assignment gave me more confidence than I was expecting. I've truly been having an interesting and mildly enjoyable time learning all of this and evolving the more I code.
I recently completed the Basic to Plus course at SheCodes and I must say, it was quite the journey! Transitioning from the basics to more advanced concepts was challenging, but thanks to the well-paced lessons, I felt supported every step of the way. SheCodes is the easiest way to get started with coding. The way Matt teaches makes it very easy to follow along and I love how the information is presented in bite-sized videos, including a solution once a challenge has been submitted. This allowed to me learn and fully understand coding. Even though it was challenging at times, SheCodes made it fun!

This workshop was a bit harder than the first one but in the end, I can confidently say I am now comfortable with JavaScript and using APIs! SheCodes is one of the best learning platforms for coding. I thoroughly enjoyed my SheCodes Basics Workshop! I had previously attempted to learn coding through other courses, but found myself overwhelmed by the extensive explanations and level of detail. I struggled to stay motivated due to the slow progress and constant feeling of being overwhelmed. Matt gets straight to the point, yet still provides precise explanations that help you understand what he is doing. The Slack chat was very helpful whenever I encountered challenges. I am extremely satisfied with my decision to purchase the course and eagerly anticipate my next workshop.
I am grateful to have been a part of the SheCodes Basics program, it sure took me a while to complete but I am happy to say that I have gained more confidence with regards to my HTML, CSS and JS coding skills now. I look forward to learning more on this platform for sure.
I had a great time learning but some days, my progress was hindered, as I was not able to learn and take challenges everyday due to my very stressful day job. It is very evident that with coding, you must practise daily to retain what you have learned and put it into action. If you don't use it, you lose it.
Matt's lectures are very brief, precise and easy to understand. I loved how there was a practice question at the end of each topic, which allowed me to test my understanding, remember what I had learnt and sharpen my skills with each lesson. Now I can confidently build a basic interactive website.
Having the chance to learn coding has revealed to me my capability to achieve anything I set my mind to. While there were challenging moments, the assistance and support from the SheCodes team empowered me to complete my foundational course and grasp concepts more effectively.
Loved learning how to make dark mode
This course was designed to perfection. I have learnt how to make an application interactive and fetching APIs , which i find really cool working with live data. I am confident in the skills i have learnt,especially the fundamentals of Vanilla JavaScript. Takes a lot of practice,but the way the lessons and challenges are structured, you learn so much.
I enjoyed SheCodes plus, it was challenging but worth every challenge. I learned a lot and feel very confident in my coding. Ready for the next challenge.
