I would Highly recommend this for any woman who is interested in coding. I have learnt so much and will continue to apply all that I have learnt.

I completed the Basics course with SheCodes because I wanted to challenge and computers and tech had always made me a teeny bit anxious. I'm very grateful to SheCodes for demystifying basic coding in this manner. I loved the accessibility of the course and found the videos helpful. I'm sure that what I have learned will give me the confidence to support my children in the future in what I believe will become an essential skill.

This add-on course was super fun! I loved learning even more about CSS Properties, especially CSS Class Manipulation. I can't wait to start my next course - SheCodes Plus! Slowly but surely, I'm on my way to becoming a Front-End developer, and it feels so good to be able to do it at my own pace. 👩🏻‍💻 Thank you so much for creating SheCodes Matt, you've changed my life! ❣️

This has been the most exciting 3 weeks. Learning a whole new skill has felt amazing. The content is easy to learn and with the videos its even easier.

This was hard, but it's a good skillset to learn. I will probably do this one a few more times until I feel more comfortable

To anyone is who is starting this amazing journey of coding, i'm going to say good luck and hang in there. i have been there too. i was not easy at all but i made it and so can you. There journey is tough but i learn a lot, make a responsive portfolio was not easy at all for me.. Yet i did. Enjoy every moment.

Creating a world clock using Moment.js, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML was a fun challenge! It felt like putting together pieces of a puzzle, and I got to use a lot of what I've learned before. I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Great learning experience, all broken down into easy to follow steps and advice. Still hard-work but very satisfied when completing the final project.

It's a great experience and step by step I created this amazing weather app! There is a long way to go and learn lots of new things in JS and React. But this course is great way to show that step by step we can do this!

SheCodes plus was longer than SheCodes basic however it was still easy to follow (I was able to complete the workshop in just over 4 weeks!). I leveled up my html, css, and js skills by using new learned advanced techniques. Including how to input api data in js.

Thanks to Matt and the SheCodes support team's help I could understand and complete the program. It gets tricky as you advance but it was still enjoyable to learn.

Awesome animation techniques and image gallery inspiration, interesting learning about changing colour themes!

All the lessons were informative, I have learnt a lot as a beginner. Some of the challenges were a bit challenging, but still very fun to do.

SheCodes Basic has been nothing but one amazing experience, with a structured curriculum that made everything easy to learn and understand. I now have the confidence to explore more with code and creativity.

I had an amazing time learning how to code and challenging myself to finish my homework on time. The past few weeks have been an eye-opener and I learned to push myself and not give up when I felt stuck. Slack and Google were my friends throughout my journey, I was able to find solutions and other ways of coding which made me understand better and enabled me to try different things without any fear. I still have a long way but I am up for any challenge coming my way.

SheCodes Plus was more challenging than the basics but it was fun and I learnt a lot about how the things learnt in basics can be used practically.

SheCodes has been instrumental in my learning journey, particularly in HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Prior to this, I had no knowledge of web design, and now I possess the skills to independently create a website from the ground up.

Another cool ride through Tech. I really learnt a whole lot. I used to have problem understanding how to make a repo, commit my work to GitHub which was made simple in this course to understand! Learning how to host using Netlify is also awesome! I am just happy i made the decision to learn from SheCodes as it is making my journey in tech a sweet one. This workshop provided an opportunity how to practise our coding skills and build a landing page without bootstrap but achieving the same effect. Lots of new skills learned.

I just completed my first project using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS! It was challenging at times but Matt provided all the core knowledge and tips I needed to achieve the landing page I wanted. I still have a few more months to go and more content to learn before I graduate. I'm excited to see the payoff as I continue learning and growing with the SheCodes community. 😄

This was a fun project to complete. The videos by Matt are easy to understand and follow. It's interesting using AI and learning how tricky wording can be to prompt the AI to do what you want. The possibilities are endless. I am looking forward to learning more on how to incorporate AI in future projects.

I started this journey as a newbie and am glad to have learnt how to write simple codes using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

It feels good to introduce yourself as "a woman in tech!" (After learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics, that is me!). I am a passionate young woman in Kenya who is passionate about technology! Going to university, I picked a tech career (Bachelor of Technology), and my dream where it will be tech-intensive. Let's say my dreams got stuck in dreamland. I am not saying I did not enjoy it, but the tech part was utterly erased. Being selected for the SheCodes scholarship has been my happiest moment because we all know coding courses cost a fortune to an unemployed adult! Anyway, on the real deal, SheCodes Basics course has made and surpassed my expectations. My passion for coding and dreams of becoming a Full-Stack software engineer has doubled. Unlike before, I can confidently say I know how to interact with HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Of course, I mean simple codes. I am far from making complex interactions, but one step at a time. I just wanted to let you know that I will reach there someday. Matt is an extraordinary tutor; his way of explaining complex things in simpler terms to a total beginner is just magical. This add-on was really cool. I continue to be amazed at the websites we build. I love that we actively apply what we've learned through a series of practical exercises. From fluid grids to flexible images, media queries to breakpoints, each aspect of responsive design was thoroughly explored, leaving no stone unturned.

The goal I had was to gain as much knowledge and insights about coding and the different elements used to create a code and through out this course I was able to gain that knowledge and insight. It was an enjoyable and amazing experience. I learnt so many useful skills that makes developing a website much easier and simple. I personally cannot wait to learn more.😊

A great course for learning how to code!

When you see the quality of the results you produce, you then understand how impactful the learning structure at SheCodes is. Every code and script is a stunner in achieving beautiful results and it is the teaching process that makes the difference. So easy to follow through and learn. I sleep on this trying to learn all the tricks with the help of all the resources and in the end, it is always so worth it. I am so excited to be making tremendous progress.

Wow! This was my first time integrating AI into an application and it was truly a great learning experience. The project was fun to build and I enjoyed this one the most so far. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to get creative in the digital space.

This project has been great fun! I struggled a little bit in the first 4 weeks but the second half of the course I flew through in just a couple of days. I had so much fun doing this course and being able to play around with the design myself. Note to self I need to come up with some way better design ideas for the next project but I had fun playing with the colour palettes etc. I learnt so many new things in this project and I cant wait to take them into the next project.

I was worried I wouldn’t be able to follow. But Matt Delac was great at explaining how to code in each video. Shecodes is really the best way to learn basic coding.
