SheCodes Responsive was a real game changer. Providing so much valuable techniques once again. Gaining knowledge about multiple pages, advanced HTML links, CSS variables and advanced flexbox techniques as well as how to integrate Bootstrap. Using Bootstrap CSS Utility classes, responsive grids, images and navigation is awesome. Learning about Responsive Testing, CSS Media Queries, Multiple page Hosting and SEO. Last but not least we got into UI Design, using Wireframe techniques and Figma to start coding our portfolio multipage project. Merci ππ½ to the best teacher π

This workshop was fun to learn. I created a recipe generator, that I will use when I get stuck for ideas in the kitchen. This example related to me more, as I am not crazy about poetry. At first, I was a bit intimidated to move away from Matt's example, thinking it would be more confusing to learn. I am excited that this was not the case. I found that it was easy to customise and encouraging to think of other AI projects I could create to streamline my everyday tasks!!

SheCodes Responsive taught me how to create responsive websites that could be accessed on a mobile and desktop device and respond to the size of the screen. This course allowed me to understand how developers can create amazing websites that can be used on various devices without any issues. I learned how to manipulate the placement of my images, text and other elements to design an efficient and beautiful website. I was taught to successfully use Bootstrap to create grids, CSS Utility Classes to design responsive websites for smaller screens, and practiced adding Bootstrap classes to my elements to easily and quickly add style without having to access the CSS file. The SheCodes Slack team was amazing throughout the learning process, because creating responsive websites can get confusing and frustrating. With their help, I was able to navigate through the lessons with little to no anxiety that I would be stuck and on my own.

Having completed SheCodes Basics, I felt I needed to continue with coding as I felt I was only getting started! In this week Add On, I learned how to create CSS grids which was something I was looking for in the Basics homework. Overall, I feel this short course has enabled me to keep my coding skills fresh in my mind whilst building more advanced HTML, CSS and Javascript. I really enjoyed making the Final Project and towards the end I ended up tinkering with the CSS code and understanding where to put certain classes or hovers - something I definitely wouldn't have been able to do 3 weeks ago. Participating in the add-on project has been an incredibly enriching experience for me. From day one, I've been immersed in a dynamic environment where learning is not just encouraged but celebrated. The project provided a unique opportunity to expand my skill set and knowledge base in ways I never imagined.
For someone that is learning react for the first time, this workshop is definitely very useful and helpful. I joined this workshop because I wanted to get more exposure and learn more as I was given tasks to work on React environment and I took so much time understanding it as I have 0 knowledge but this workshop definitely added more knowledge to me and making me more confident in completing my tasks in the future!

I really enjoyed this introduction to coding! The videos were short yet informative and Matt explains everything very well. I really liked the challenges we have after every video as it allows me to practice what I've just learned which helps me to remember the information better. I already had a fair bit of coding knowledge before taking this course and I'm glad to say I still learned some new things! So far I love the flow of the course as everything Matt's taught so far connects. Overall a very good course and I can't wait to take more!
