I started out as a complete beginner to coding. But this workshop had exactly what I needed to learn the basics and get started. I didn't find I need too much help when I did the challenges as everything was thoroughly explained and I tried to use my own critical thinking to complete each task and homework. I enjoyed completing the final project as I was able to use all that I had learned and put the puzzle together. I loved it 😊.

This was a great learning experience. A bit frustrating at times, but nothing was too hard to figure out with some extra research.

What an amazing course I learnt so so much it exceeded my expectations! Matt is a phenomenal teacher. He makes coding accessible and explains everything so well. He also makes me laugh :) So delighted to now have a portfolio. Thank you SheCodes and the brilliant technical support team!

Shecodes workshop is beginner-friendly. I have been able to code a responsive weather app to show weather forecasts for different cities in the world. I have learned how to integrate API with JavaScript.

This was an amazing workshop! I learnt a lot of advanced front-end development skills that helped me build a solid foundation of HTML, CSS and Javascript. I feel more confident in my development skills and I'm looking forward to completing the next modules.

Learned the basics in a very short time. The clips are not too long and everything is explained as clear as possible, you get to the exercices/challenges quick to test it all out. The check on the homework is a great plus during the program since there are multiple solutions to create the same element. Excited for the next step in my coding adventure!

I thought learning to code would be a huge hurdle because it looked complicated and unachievable. I took the free 60-minute course with SheCodes and realized that I understood the material and that it actually looked fun! Now that I've completed my final project, I feel waayyy more confident to take on more coding projects and learn more about JavaScript. Instead of just doing the minimum, I found myself customizing so many things and that it was coming easy to me. This was very challenging, there was a time I felt like giving up, but I did not. It got easier with every step I took. These were the longest 8 weeks of my entire 26 years ,but i wouldn't trade them for anything because they have equiped me with such incredible skills and knowledge! I went from only being able to create a static page using HTML,CSS and basic JavaScript to creating my own weather application, which for me is beyond greatness because when i first started i didn't even know what HTML Elements were😂🤦‍♀️. I am going to keep working on mastering these 3 languages and add a forecast to my pride-themed weather application. I am grateful to Matt for making my coding journey so much fun and easy, he really knows how to explain things in a way that even if its hard you finally get to the point where you're like,"oh yeah, i see it now" and that is the best feeling. Thank you, Matt! I am also grateful to my Slack Community for always being there to answer my questions and rescuing me whenever i got stuck. I look forward to learning more and finding my space as a front-end developer at the end of this amazing journey offered to me by SheCodes Foundation.

Thoroughly enjoyed learning more complex things, while still keeping it easy to follow and understand. This will hopefully be a great stepping stone for me to continue my learning!

The past 3 weeks flew by, which is proof of the fact how easy I could combine my daily work and the contents of this course. It was super fun to learn about the basics of coding and I increasingly grew into the mindset of a coder. Even though I do not think I want to make this my full-time career, it is super helpful to understand more of this topic especially for my job I currently work in.

I recently completed the SheCodes Basics and it was an incredible experience! I was a total beginner with no prior coding knowledge whatsoever. The SheCodes Responsive workshop just took my coding skills to another level. Learning how to make websites responsive is quite important. So that users may have appropriate user interfaces regardless of which device they are using.

I have been trying to learn to code with other platforms and boot camps but I couldn't just get a hang of anything on the lessons until I heard of the SheCodes foundation. I have the best time learning with shecodes and this broke the ice I couldn't break to get into tech. I am looking forward to learning more and becoming a developer or engineer. Currently studying a Diploma in IT and I believe any course in the field of development will be advantageous to me. I spent years not knowing what I love and what I want to do with my life until I researched about being a developer and I knew then that I have found my calling.

I am amazed at what I have learned to say the least. I enjoyed the overall curriculum, including the step by step explanations supplemented with hands-on practices that allowed me to fully experience the basics of coding. I was not only able to learn the basics, but I became familiar with how to identify my errors, code in the proper format and actually understand the functions of what I was developing. Matt's easy explanation of the lessons makes the workshop more enjoyable and comprehensible. You get a deeper understanding and practice by co-coding with him. It adds enjoyment to the workshop. I really did learn a lot.

This is the absolute dream way to learn to code!

I'm loving being able to learn and explore at the same time. The course was easy to follow and I got some extra tools that I was curious about from the original SheCodes Basic course.

This was a really fun workshop! I learned so much about how to make a webpage responsive and SEO friendly, as well as how to link multiple webpages together. Following along with Matt made it that much more helpful, as well as the help provided in slack. I highly recommend! It was a great way to refine previously learned coding skills and learn new ones!

The AI Add-On workshop has been incredibly enjoyable and fascinating! I've always been intrigued by generative AI and how it can be integrated into a webpage, I have learned so much from this course. Working on the final project was a fantastic experience, and it has quickly become one of my favorites projects.

The interactive online platform made learning to code an absolute joy. The bite-sized lessons were not only easy to follow but also incredibly engaging. Each lesson felt like a mini adventure, as I unlocked new coding concepts and techniques.

The add-on was easier than expected, but I still learned valuable information, especially on the dark theme for people like myself who use the dark theme on a daily basis.

Enrolling with SheCodes is by far the best decision I have made in 2024. I have never learned something new so quickly. The content is well-structured and easy to understand and apply. This really helped me a lot in learning more about coding. I had a bit of background when it comes to html but it was quite interesting learning CSS and Javascript.

My HTML and CSS skills have definitely leveled up since the last course. I enjoyed learning about grid layouts, transform effects and class manipulation. It was fun and practical.

I enjoyed the SheCodes React add-on course, finding it insightful. However, while the content was valuable, I felt that some topics were not covered in sufficient depth for a comprehensive understanding. Althoughthe course provided a solid foundation, with additional resources or further explanation, it could be even more beneficial. Overall, it was a positive learning experience with room for improvement.

The Basics Shecodes course was very insightful, and I got to learn well from it, it was not too complicated and tough, although JavaScript was quite challenging, the course did teach me most of what there is to learn about it. This is a course I would 100% recommend to other ladies interested in learning how to code.

Lessons are made so easy I had fun the entire time of learning.

The final project in this workshop was an absolute blast! And while having fun, I also soaked up a tremendous amount of knowledge. This workshop was a perfect blend of excitement and learning.

Learning how to code is the best decision I have ever made. Though I found the first week overwhelming as I was trying to balance things around, but I learned to take one day at a time and do what I can in a day. Its exciting and I am enjoying it.

SheCodes Plus is certainly more challenging than SheCodes Basic. This project helped me learn a lot of new technologies, taught me how to work with an API and how to use GitHub and host a website. I can’t wait to keep learning with SheCodes 😊
