I used to believe that coding required special expertise, with the right resources anyone can become a coder. I find coding to be a therapeutic escape from stress and anxiety. I keep learning so much in a short amount of time thanks to these SheCodes classes. Matt makes complex topics and challenges manageable by teaching you step-by-step how to approach a coding problem for a solution. I can't believe I built my final Plus Add-On project within a few hours over two days. I also found myself pausing the lesson and adding the code myself, because I could predict where he was going with the solutions.
Another challenging exercise made a little easier with the video lessons and instructions to follow step by step. Very happy to keep learning new ways of doing things and improving my coding skills!

JavaScript is hard. I wanted to give up from time to time but knowing that learning to code is a long process, I settled on just focusing on what's in the syllabus. The lessons focused mostly on the process of building one weather app project. It's a great workshop but I personally have to refer to outside materials to understand more of some of the lessons here.
This is a really great platform for anyone willing to dive in to tech. It makes learning easy and i have learnt a lot in a space of three weeks.
So far it's been a wonderful journey, when I started I didn't think that I'd make it this far but now I'm eager to learn more and see what else I can do. It's been a challenging and fun ride, I can't wait to see what the next chapter has in store for us!
Great course! The content was presented in a way that was easy to understand. The projects were fun, and you have access to help if you get stuck. I didn't think I would like or even understand coding; it was something I wanted to try because I am looking to change careers. But I really enjoyed the content and want to keep learning! Just amazing, I never thought I would be capable of such things, I used to believe coding was something extremely complicated and only for engineers but with SheCodes I got to realise, it's actually something that all of us could learn.
This is by far amazing, so many things I learned. How to play around AI , animation effect and not to forget the TypeWriter effect. This helped me to create the final project and I am quite proud of myself :). I know this will help in my future projects.

Great learning experience with Shecodes. It is useful to have assignments that simulate real programming work and develop a functioning app with API.
The SheCodes Basics Workshop was very enlightening. All the new concepts that I learnt were very interesting. I found it very fascinating that a few lines of code could produce what they produced and I was very amazed at the stuff I could build purely using lines of code and this was just at the basic level. I'm honestly looking forward to the rest of the workshops ahead and I'm even more excited to see what challenges they hold. I'm ready to elevate my coding skills and work towards becoming the best developer I can possibly be.
I loved the program and I'm currently looking to sign up for the next workshop. It was a great mixed of fun, creativity, learning, and each project helped you to expand your mind and look for different ways to write your code and have the same or better results.

I had a few frustrating moments leading up to the final project, but the drive and excitement of completing the assignment was well worth it. Out of all the online course to learn coding, this has helped me the most. The way Matt explains things without necessarily using technical jargon straight away has helped me understanding things more than I thought I would. In actual fact, I didn't think I would get this far or be able to code at all!
It is always requires a lot of courage to make a step towards your dreams. For me, IT was always a broad concept associated with excessive amount of terms and rules and you need to know which one to choose from millions of them to implement into functionable project. Seemed pretty difficult until I decided not to judge the book by its cover. I am pretty excited that I made a decision to start coding with SheCodes. Since the very start the team led by instructor Matt was super supportive. Matt has this ability to put it straight to the core making the process of learning fun and efficient.
It has been an amazing 3 weeks, I have learnt so much and I did not think I would be able to even do this and get to this point. I am so grateful and I am even more excited to learn more. The project was a lot of fun.

I can honestly say despite the challenges I faced. I had a fun time learning how to do the basics in coding. I'm excited for the next workshop and will definitely use any notes and printouts I made to keep going forward. The simplest thing can mess up your code from; spacing, wrong quotation, putting the wrong ending or even spelling. So take your time, breathe, and keep trying even when it seems like you did the same thing over and over. You got this.

In the beginning starting the foundation, it was exciting to start learning something new but at the same time anxious because I did not know anything about coding. Getting started with the workshops under the leadership and guidance of Mat has been great because he explains very well and it is easy to understand his teaching method. Doing the homework and projects was challenging but a good way to practice what was taught.

This workshop provided me with insights into advanced CSS techniques. Additionally, I received an introduction to the Document Object Model (DOM), during which I learned how to locate DOM elements using selectors and experimented with events. I recommend this add-on.
