My She Codes Plus journey has been incredibly rewarding. In just a short time, I've mastered a range of advanced coding skills using HTML, CSS & JavaScript. In addition, I acquired proficiency in using essential tools like Git/GitHub for version control and collaborating with fellow developers. Furthermore, I learned how to deploy my projects using platforms like Netlify, gaining firsthand experience in real-world development practices. The highlight of my experience has been creating a 5-day weather forecast app, where I applied diverse skills like API integration and UI design. The supportive community and comprehensive curriculum have been instrumental in my learning journey. I successfully tackled numerous challenges by leveraging the knowledge-sharing platform of Slack, where I could find solutions and tips from my fellow SheCodes peers who had encountered similar issues. Thanks to She Codes Plus & the She Codes Team, I now feel confident and equipped to tackle new coding challenges with ease.
SheCodes is a great learning platform for women who are interested in coding. Interestingly, coders can complete their coding workshops from the comfort of their home because everything is done online. Much appreciation to Matt Delac for all the detailed lessons.
Learning Python has been a blast, can't wait to learn the advance version!
I have been browsing for a coding course and I was glad to have found SheCodes for its flexibility and cost. The lessons were easy to follow and you get to apply your knowledge into the challenges. It has showed me that it is actually easier to build a website using the codes! Highly recommended to anyone who is interested to learn coding and add new skills.
As a recent Shecodes Plus AddOn coding workshop participant, I can confidently say that this experience has been transformative, and I learned so much. This course is perfect for anyone with no coding experience. I have to admit that it is very entertaining, but also catchy. You will quickly dispel the prejudice that this is a boring job if you ever had one. In any case, you can already learn a lot in a short period of time, but also understand that coding is a serious step that you decide to take. If you have decided to take that step, do not hesitate to continue with other courses! thank you SheCodes for a fantastic experience on this Basic course!
As someone who already have experience within development, it's always nice to get the basics refreshed, but this is on the very basic level. I will definitely recommend the basic course to completely new developers, Matt is very good at descriping what he does and show helpful websites for specific situations. The homework is a good way of keeping you motivated and put to use what you have learned thoughout the week. The pacing is also super nice, you can take it in your own pace and I personally didn't feel rushed or felt it was too slow. But if you already have some experience in the field, unless you're looking to get some refreshers or are interested in some of the other SheCodes courses, I might look elsewhere.
This was a really great course to learn how to create responsive and interactive apps!

The add-on is good to understand the different languages better and also gives you a bit more training while also learning new parts of CSS; HTML and Javascript.
Doing this program has really taught me a lot. I've been challenged a lot which has made to become better and also to get out of my way and learn the technical stuff in web development. Through this program, i was able to build projects of my own using the knowledge from Matt who I'm really grateful to for providing such opportunities to women who can't afford the program.I'm excited for my next course and would really advise other women to take the course cause it's worth it.

The Basics Add-on workshop was even more interesting because the so much can be done to make a great web-page, e.g. learning how to insert transitions to an image is mind-blowing.

The SheCodes programme is quite challenging but there is help available for every single problem so that makes it easier. It is very good to stimulate ones brain and to learn something new.
Never thought Python was something I could learn and tackle but Matt and SheCodes made it possible because of how the course is structured. Going step by step with detailed explanations about each lesson made it worth it to learn and now I can happily add Python to my set of coding skills!

Learning react is quite difficult, but with the help of Matt's clear explanations, I built my first ever react weather app. This course is highly recommended to anyone who wants to start leaning react.
This SheCodes workshop was amazing! I learned all about AI integration, writing code to work with different AI models, and even how to tweak CSS using JavaScript. After months of returning to studies in the field of technology, from which I had been away for almost 4 years, I went through a journey from the basics like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to more advanced information like understanding how GitHub works, hosting, exploring Visual Studio Code, and many other knowledge areas that revolve around development. Finally, I have reached the most current and exciting learning, which utilizes and expands all this knowledge: React. I can assure you that it was challenging yet gratifying to apply all the knowledge acquired, as well as my hobbies and patience, to complete this rewarding project. I recognize that I still have much to learn and improve to expand my skills, and I am grateful to the SheCodes team, who provided me with the support, encouragement, and motivation needed to take this further step in my journey
After taking a long break to learn a new role I have come back. It was amazing how much information I have already retained and how easy it was to just back in right where I left off. I've had such a fantastic experience working through this 8 week course. Through other course providers I had attempted to understand GitHub and JavaScript, but struggled to grasp the mechanics of them, however Matt has done it again! Not only do I feel super confident with GitHub, I'm also no longer struggling with JS. I had also previously started to look into APIs, but daren't have gone much further at that point. I'm delighted to have learned how to integrate APIs within my code and have managed to create a functionable weather app as a result. I'm excited to see what will come next. Thanks again Matt!

I really enjoyed getting to learn to code with SheCodes, it has made me realize that I can do more than I think.
This chapter was hard, however I enjoyed learning every bit of it.
Getting to the final project was truly a journey however when it was time for my final and just completing the mock assignment gave me more confidence than I was expecting. I've truly been having an interesting and mildly enjoyable time learning all of this and evolving the more I code.
I recently completed the Basic to Plus course at SheCodes and I must say, it was quite the journey! Transitioning from the basics to more advanced concepts was challenging, but thanks to the well-paced lessons, I felt supported every step of the way. What stood out to me the most was the balance between theory and practice. The short, digestible videos provided in-depth explanations of each topic, while allowing enough time for hands-on practice before diving into the final project. SheCodes is the easiest way to get started with coding. The way Matt teaches makes it very easy to follow along and I love how the information is presented in bite-sized videos, including a solution once a challenge has been submitted.
