Man... what a wonderful journey! Learning with Matt and his team was the best choice and investment of my time and efforts in 2020. I am very grateful for all that I have learned and truly recommend SheCodes to any woman in search of a change, new skills or an entrance in the world of web development. I started with the 3 weeks SheCodes workshop as a complete beginner in any area related to IT and tech. Matt's explanations and the lesson structure are very valuable and easy to understand and most importantly, guided step by step. There is also a wonderful group of people on the Slack platform where students are always welcome to share their challenges and get swift help form the team. After the 3 weeks workshop I decided to invest in the next step and take on the front end development course. I learned a lot. I had challenges, late nights and lots of satisfaction. Now I see apps and web pages with different eyes and I notice a growing wish in myself to further pursue this path. Matt, Lexi and the team, THANK YOU SO MUCH! for keeping it real, for keeping it simple and valuable. Highly recommended.
SheCodes Plus bootcamp is a great course to learn about Front End Web Development. It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed applying the learnings by building a weather app.

The SheCodes Workshop is a great introductory course to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Access to the channels in the Slack App for additional help with the challenges was extremely beneficial. I finally found a course that explains JavaScript in a way that I understand! I like that you integrate it at the beginning with HTML and CSS, it doesn't feel quite as intimidating compared to learning it after mastering HTML and CSS.

I really enjoyed the course! I have learned so much in just three weeks and I will definitely be able to benefit from this in my job, as I work in digital marketing. The workload is not a lot, it is perfectly manageable with a full-time job. The course is very interesting, sometimes I could not stop coding and learning even though I had other things to do. In three weeks you cannot learn to be a developer, of course, but it is a great opportunity for building a new skill that can benefit both your logical reasoning and future developments in a job π
This course is both fun and challenging. I really enjoyed learning the new techniques and then putting everything I learnt into practice for my final project.

High learning curve, but it was worth it!
I took the three week SheCodes Workshop. I absolutely would recommend it to anyone who had little to no experience with coding, and also needed scheduling flexibility. Over the course of those three weeks I learned HTML, CSS, Javascript, and used Visual Studio Code. Each lesson was short in length, less than 10 minutes on average, and easily digestible. I really liked that I was able to move at my own pace while still having enough time throughout the week to meet our weekly deadline for assignments. There are several people available to help you with any errors in your code, and to answer any questions you may have about a lesson or concept. You cant beat it.
I've tried a few times to learn code through other online courses and having a coworker teach me. This is the first time it made so much sense. Having the challenges made me feel like I was being productive and really helped me learn and understand the code I was writing. I had a great time and appreciate coding so much more!

After having done the first 3 weeks workshop and enjoying myself, I was in a bit of a dilemma as I could not afford the full price of the next part of the course, I'm content and happy that as a student they allow alternatives when you are financially struggling. After having gone over 12+ weeks with SheCodes I have enjoyed the process of learning more and how quick and easy it is to learn from Matt online and even struggling through the processes alone, but there are always great support available for any help. I look forward to the upcoming weeks as I continue my journey with SheCodes
SheCodes bootcamp takes the mystery out of coding and make projects straight-forward to learn development skills in HTML, CSS, and Javascript. In completing the weather application, though there were moments of frustration, the scope and the instruction helped me overcome the challenges of using vanilla Javascript to build a functional application. I can't wait to take on more challenges!

I am so happy I went ahead and decided to move forward with taking SheCode Plus. It was very challenging and frustrating at times, but it definitely reinforced my knowledge from the 1st workshop AND built upon it. I can't wait to use what I've learned for real-life projects so I can enhance my skills.

I started SheCodes fresh off the boat with the intention of learning coding to open more job opportunities in the future. SheCodes React was surprisingly a fun challenge! The lessons follow an organized and simple way of learning how to code using React. Besides that, we also learn how to solve common problems and turn ideas into real apps/websites. π
I was never brave enough to learn coding, until I got to know SheCodes. I would have never ever thought that this will be so much fun! Matt explains everything little by little and the challenges after each explanation make it easy to remember what he explained. A fun and easy way to learn coding
A friend of mine suggested me this web coding course and I thought it was a great idea! I was quite enthusiast about learning how websites and pages are structured and work. At first, I admit that I was afraid of not being able to follow the lessons and do the exercises, but the course is well-structured and everything is explained clearly. The most fun thing is that you can immediately see what you are creating and I think that's amazing. Almost like having a magic wand. Thanks to Matt and SheCodes Team, I have learned the basics of HTML, Java and CSS. :)
I loved the SheCodes+ course and working on my finale project. It was intense, and some challenges can be difficult, but Matt explains things super clearly and makes learning very fun. The team is so nice, and available to help. I liked that there is also a bit of interaction on Slack with other students. I've succeeded to complete the course while working full-time and being pregnant, and I'm not sure I could have done it with a different course. I'm really grateful for this opportunity, and looking forward to learn more about coding.

SheCodes Plus is a very nice way to learn how to build a web application. From A to Z, from designing your application to publishing it online. It was a great advantage to learn about the different (necessary) languages and tools. It was really fun to create this app. Please have a look and find your holiday destination :)

I highly recommend the SheCodes workshops! I was always very curious about coding, but never really had the time to explore this world, when this course came up on my LinkedIn feed it felt perfect timing! I first went to the free coding class with Matt and in just that 1h I learned so much. The SheCodes Online Workshop is suited for students of all ages and for beginners, it's well-paced, and at the end of each lesson, we have the opportunity to also practice with homework and projects. We are fully supported, if we have any difficulties on the projects we can ask the technical assistants and fellow students, and Matt is a brilliant teacher! After this workshop, I'm thinking to continue my studies in coding!

I actually have some basic knowledge about programming. However, the technology is always evolving, and it is hard to catch up all the time if there is less opportunities to leverage its skillset. This workshop is great for someone who wants to learn to code but can't commit to a full time bootcamp or a set schedule of live lessons. Matt explains everything very clearly for an absolute beginner, while also encouraging you to figure some things out on your own. I really enjoyed the SheCodes basics after doing the lessons. I don't mean to sound proud but it was very easy and elementary for me to learn. I joined SheCodes with no coding experience, in fact coding intimidated me but I wanted to change that and that's one of the reasons why I joined the workshop. It's very beginner friendly, I learned a lot and was not overwhelmed at all. I recommend to anyone wanting to learn a new skill.

Knowing how to code has always been something I dreamed of. Every time I tried to learn by myself, I had this difficulty of not knowing where to start and how to keep myself motivated. I found that the SheCodes Workshops are well structured and engaging. You also know what is the next thing you can have to learn and have a peace of mind knowing that if you need help, there are people to whom you can reach out easily.
Complete beginner here! I've tried and failed, start and stopped free coding workshops, and felt convinced I would never get the hang of it. I wasn't cut out for coding. Now, I'm sad it's going to be over! I had so much fun learning from Matt, the tools were amazing and the knowledge feels like a huge stepping stone for me! I was itching to get my two little girls to bed every night these past three weeks so that I could get to my challenges! The project was so fun, I finished it early :) I cannot recommend this enough.

Before attending the course i was a little bit nervous to immerse myself into something that is so different and remote from everything i have ever done previously. But after the first lesson my enthusiasm was grown up to 1000%, and i truly believe it's a merit of Matt who has managed to create a great way of teaching which can work for any beginner who really wants to learn.
