I learned so much these past eight weeks of the workshop. While there were many challenging topics, I believe challenges are opportunities for growth. A deeper dive into HTML, CSS, and JavaScript has enhanced my understanding of these technologies and their functionalities. Building this Weather App was by far my favorite project. It was truly empowering to see everything I've learned come together in a working application.

After teaching myself how to create a website using WordPress and Divi, I discovered that I really enjoyed it and was eager to learn more, possibly even making it my profession. I then started looking for a suitable course that I could follow from home. I quickly came across SheCodes, and it immediately appealed to me. After comparing SheCodes with other providers, SheCodes stood out to me in terms of offerings, reviews, and quality. I took the free coding class and was quickly convinced because Matt explains everything in a very pleasant and easy-to-understand way. He is very enjoyable to listen to, not monotonous at all like I found with other courses. Even if you know nothing about coding, you will understand it through his way of explaining. I am a mother of a 10-year-old gifted son who is homeschooled because regular education often does not suit gifted children. So, even as a stay-at-home mom, you can follow this course, in your own time and at your own pace. Therefore, I can recommend it to any woman and mother who is interested in coding.

I enjoyed learning how to code. The learning modules were very easy to follow and was explained well. I didn't realise I had done a little coding before on tumblr years ago when I would modify the theme of my page. I think I will try out the other workshops sometime soon in the future.

A really great experience. I gained hands-on skills in HTML, CSS and Bootstrap, as much as SEO and user-friendly websites. Although I came across a few bugs and wasted some time working them out, each one turned out to be a valuable learning experience.

Over the last six weeks, diving into React has been a big challenge, pushing me to step out of my comfort zone. The learning curve was steep, and at times it felt overwhelming, but the material was incredibly useful. There's so much to absorb, and it can be hard to keep up, but Max's clear and thorough explanations made everything much more manageable. Despite the initial difficulties, I now feel more confident and excited about using React in future projects.

SheCodes React's learning structure is convenient to gain knowledge about web development which is somewhat different than other programming languages. The instructor has taught react so adaptable way that I was able to build the project accordingly.
I started the SheCodes journey with little coding knowledge but learned so much in one and a half weeks. I worked hard and dedicated my time to learning how to code and completing the SheCode basics, and I managed to finish all my tasks before the due dates. This add-on course was great, I feel I got to learn some additional skills as well as refresh some of the techniques already covered in the Basics course. The short course also allowed me to get through the exercises quickly.

I've just completed the Python Basics course, which I liked but didn’t love. The instructional videos with Matt were definitely educational, and I learned a lot of theory. However, I felt the course lacked practical exercises, which I believe is the most important aspect of coding. Some videos included homework that took only a few minutes, while others had no practice at all. As an absolute beginner, I managed to get through the course by copying Matt (and leaning on AI), but I don’t feel confident applying these skills in the real world.
I enjoyed the learning journey, it was truly amazing although at some point is was hard to continue and happy that I did not give up and was resilient. I'm glad to have completed this work, can't wait for more.

Despite being a basic course, it taught me a lot, especially in terms of coding and testing a webpage simultaneously. The course structure is incredibly well-organized, making it the best online teaching experience I've encountered so far. Each component is followed by a challenge, which really helps reinforce what you've just learned. As a Computer Engineering student, I found the teacher to be exceptional at explaining concepts clearly, and I would highly recommend this course to anyone new to programming. It's a fantastic starting point for beginners. I also appreciated that the teacher shared some additional industry-relevant insights, even though they weren't part of the certificate level. This gives students a head start if they want to dive deeper into web development. Even though it covers just the basics, I thoroughly enjoyed the course and am excited to pursue higher-level certificates on the platform.
