I've loved this workshop so far learning CSS, HTML and JavaScript. The content and tasks are great and it's easy to learn and share problems with others on the course.

Simple, straightforward, and effective! Learning by doing make things stick much better than by passively watching videos, and things were broken down into manageable chunks. I found myself enjoying things so much that I pushed ahead of schedule!

React was difficult but I am happy I learned!

Absolutely loved working on this app and learning how React works. Grateful for Matt and the teams quick responses and easy guidance with any questions I've had along the way.

I had tons of fun. Yes, there’s definitely some frustrating times but all the support you get from the community and Matt alike, just gets you going! I knew zero to zilch about Code and now I feel like a competent ninja, inspecting different websites to identify what we learn throughout the workshop. It’s a great place to start if you want to figure out if you’ll like coding or not, and venture this vast world. I’ll be upgrading soon and I absolutely recommend it to anyone.

I have learnt so much completing this weather app project with SheCodes! There were definitely some challenges but help was at hand on Slack when I got stuck! And it is so rewarding once you get your code to work! I am very proud to have completed my project and am looking forward to continuing my coding journey :)

The course has been amazing. The lessons were easy to follow and understand. The tone is very natural and friendly, which is great when you are learning something new. Great support scheme if you have any question/doubt. Strongly considering to join another course with SheCodes :)

I'd recommend 'SheCodes' to individuals who are busy with a day job yet are still keen to pick up coding skills to stay relevant in this increasingly digital-focused world. Each module in this course comes in bite-sized videos and challenges, allowing beginners to cope with the learning process with ease, i.e. they are not too overwhelming and can be completed by mini-milestones. The weekly assignments' deadlines motivate students not to lose their momentum in this course and rest assured, students are not alone in this journey. The 'SheCodes' team will review the homework submitted, and students can reach out to other coders via Slack for help.

It was great learning the basics of coding! Matt always explains everything clearly, sometimes with funny analogies to make things easier to understand, and I've been having fun doing the challenges and homeworks. I can't wait to start SheCodes+ and learn even more!

I liked it! It didn't go too fast and if it went too slow I could speed up Matt :D I got to learn what coding is and got a taste of the possibilities! I recommend keeping notes per language. It helps to find stuff again for the last piece of homework! Looking forward to learn more!

I was always interested in learning how to code, but never thought that I would get the chance. When I first came upon a SheCodes ad, I was immediately intrigued; and when my employer asked me to attend further training during my short-term work, I jumped at the opportunity – and never regretted it. Being totally absorbed in the learning videos and corresponding challenges, hours pass without me realising it. I immensely enjoy putting what I just learned into action and can’t believe how far I’ve already come in such a short period of time. Coding can be challenging, but it is also a lot of fun and extremely rewarding. If you are unsure whether you should sign up for one of the workshops, do it! I'm sure you won't be disappointed! 😉

I really enjoyed the SheCodes workshops! I enrolled to refresh my web development knowledge, as I haven't touched it in 5 years, and wound up getting a proper grasp on some things that I'd used previously used but hadn't really understood. The videos explain things quite well, the bite-sized exercises and homework really help reinforce the learnings, and completing the final project really brings a sense of achievement.

In the past I had a short adventure with coding while my studies and after that experienced I was sure, coding is not something for me. Few years after that experience I decided to give a chance to SheCodes and I'm extremely happy I did! Each SheCodes lesson is explained very well and it makes the whole learning experience fun :) I highly recommend it to anyone, who wants to learn at least basics of coding.

This workshop really demystified the world of coding, making it both easy and fun to learn. I highly recommend it!

As a beginner, am so glad I chose SheCodes. The beautifully laid out and well-organized modules as well as the challenging home works helped me learn and enjoy the basics of coding . I honestly never thought I would be able to learn JS, let alone finish a web app by myself! Especially after taking so many online tutorials/courses and ending up frustrated. After finishing the Intro to Coding I Workshop I just had to keep going and the Front End Development was the obvious next step. Matt is a fantastic teacher, explaining every step of the way as he goes along, and feel I have a pretty solid foundation on JS and Front End now to start my own projects now. I've loved using SheCodes! I really like the short lessons and then having the opportunity to work on my own coding to apply what I'm learning. I especially like the tools they have taught us to use and the way the lessons built on each other.

This 3 weeks with SheCodes was lot of fun and I loved the teaching style of Matt as well as his instructions. I am happy I started to learn code and its just the beginning of a beautiful journey.

This workshop has been an enjoyable learning experience. I think it was structured well - being able to build my own weather app from design and then adding functionality to it step by step was useful and fun!

I really enjoyed how SheCodes took us step-by-step through the coding process with little challenges that pushed us to test our knowledge. I learned a lot!

I loved it! I didn't expect to enjoy coding quite as much as I have, but now I'm strongly considering taking it further and continuing to learn more.

It's like solving a maths problem, rest assured... there will always be a solution to the problem and there are lots of ways to get it! "Learn how to code" is one of my best year-end resolutions, thanks to SheCodes. If I am to describe coding in 3 words, it would be "challenging yet therapeutic" :D

SheCodes is a good mentor for those who are looking for a good start to learn how to code. It has challenging homeworks and a great community to join!

This course was quite challenging but at the same time very effective and interesting. During the lessons, you learn many things and details about React, it's components, different approaches for a solution. I'm happy I've coped with it!

That's what you can make most of in 3 weeks. 👍Well structured. Bite-sized learning so that you can progress bit by bit. Really good for absolute beginners who just want to get some beginning knowledge of web development. A good starter kit! Thanks Matt!

At first, I was quite worried if I´d be able to go into such a big challenge, especially since I had no previous knowledge of coding, but I can say I´ve not only learned a new skill, but I feel even more prepared to go into the next challenge called React ❤🌟 during these hard times I fully believe I could change career paths and feel confident enough.

Learning how to code with SheCodes has been an awesome experience! I never thought that coding could be so much fun. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I've learned in three weeks. What I appreciate is that Matt not only teaches us how to code, but he also does a great job of teaching us how to teach ourselves to code: where to look to answer our own questions, what tools we can use to enhance our code, etc. SheCodes offers a great foundation from which we can explore and learn on our own. Highly recommend.

I'm glad I've chosen to join the team SheCodes for learning web-programming online. It has been fun, interesting, challenging and engaging. Everything in this workshop is just perfect organized. I knew nothing about coding before this course. In only 3 weeks I learnt basic skills and built my own page from scratch. There is still a lot to learn, but now I know what the coding world is about. Now I know for sure that I definitely want a job tech related.

I had a lot of fun learning everything from the ground up. I like the structure of the classes and I can't wait to get started on my own projects!

SheCodes has been an amazing learning experience from start to finish. It has admittedly been a lot tougher than I was expecting, but I have felt supported throughout and have achieved much more than I thought possible in such a short amount of time! Have learned so much about html, css, and javascript. Concepts I didn't understand before were made much more clear! Great course to take. Project was challenging, but an excellent way to work on concepts learned throughout the course.

Building my own project with SheCodes Plus was very challenging but also fun and I learned a lot!

The Plus course was well structured. The level was high, nevertheless really fun to learn new topic each week. The weekly homework allow you to apply what was learned directly on your own project which was really helpful. Overall you get a good insight into what coding/front-end development is all about. Thank you for this fun experience and I would love to continue coding.

This second workshop was interesting and I definitely learn new things and got deeper into the coding world. The only note that I have is that the lesson's materials weren't updated and some of them were misleading. Overall my impression is that the first introduction part was more well designed and organized. But overall I'm glad that I took this second workshop, now I have more knowledge to navigate on my own

I definitely enjoyed this 3-week course. Its structured so that it is easy to follow and self-paced, the way that it is taught also makes it such a fun process. I found it very interesting and challenging and I learnt so much. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants an introduction to web development or even who just wants to try something new.

I found the SheCodes 3-week self-paced class to be really easy to fit into a very busy life. I took this class alongside a friend to have some accountability and it's been great to be able to bounce ideas off and work with each other. If I didn't have this, there is a huge Slack channel of folks to reach out to and collaborate with, which is awesome! I loved the material we learned and the freedom of the last assignment. I'd recommend this to anyone who is code-curious and has been waiting to take a plunge and make the commitment. You can do it! We can all do it!

I tried a few other "learn how to code" websites. I frustrated immediately on a few and learned through a free trial on a few others. This website has been detailed, informative and super helpful! I started knowing very little and feeling very overwhelmed! It wasn't until after I watched a ten-minute video of him building a website and me able to follow along with the majority of the steps, that I realized I didn't feel overwhelmed at all! This course is great for women just getting into coding to see if you like the process!

I'm not sure I have learned a lot in areas beyond HTML and CSS. The course provides some useful insights, but Javascript is about coding and this course doesn't teach you how to code at all. I've learned a few tricks, but I was hoping to learn how to code front-end applications and I haven't. I've learned how to search for resources I need and "copy/paste", but not to think like a programmer.

It has been a very challenging and yet rewarding experience. It feels very empowering to be able to build your own weather app (me few months ago did not believe that it was even possible 🙂)! Consistent, logical and user friendly structure of the workshop and the ability to practice along the way all helped my learning journey. Huge thanks to Matt and the team and I look forward to SheCodes React!

I would highly recommend SheCodes for anyone wanting to learn more about coding! As a beginner, I was a little overwhelmed by the thought of starting something like this, but I absolutely love it. I was skeptical at first just because I have tried, many times, to learn something about coding but it seemed nobody could teach me in a simple, fast, clear way. I am SOOO happy I chose SheCodes, I feel so good about It, I couldn't believe I was learning so easily a subject I always found impossibile.

All the content from the workshop is easy to digest and makes the learning process fun. I also appreciate that this course really empowers you to learn and doesn't treat this subject as something out of this world. The way the lessons & challenges are structured couldn't be better, it allows you to really learn and be able to finally create something of your own. I highly recommend it.

It's embarrassing but I was Java developer 10 years ago...😅, and now I am on business side for my professional career. However, the background of "Tech + Business" have become my advantage. The technology is always evolving, and it is hard to catch up all the time if there is less opportunities like my current situation to leverage its skillset. Therefore, the learning through SheCodes Plus made me be up to date! It's fun more than anything else! 👍😊

I won't say this round of SheCodes was easy but it is definitely satisfying at the end! Getting to see an app work, that you built and understand how it works, is really exciting. I can't wait to share what I learned and keep tinkering around with APIs.

I had a lot of fun on this! I thoroughly enjoyed this course and learning how to build this app from scratch. The pacing of the lessons allows you to build up on your knowledge and practice new concepts straight away.

This was a great starter course! I learned a lot about the basics of coding & how to pull all the parts of HTML, CSS & JS together.

I recommend the workshops by all my heart! It wasn't that easy to keep up with all deadlines because of crazy Xmas time nevertheless I've managed because it was SO MUCH FUN to finally understand what it is all about 😀 Formula of the course is great and thanks to the small steps method you quickly gain necessary knowledge of tools and skills to create your own basic web page and the best part of it you can continue to learn individually thanks to Matt's tips. He is great teacher, I gradually got addicted to his voice 😀 I'd love to continue this challenging adventure of coding with SheCodes! If all online courses were created like that, I would have end by only learning stuff on the Internet 😉 Chapeau Bas!

I was not sure what to expect when I subscribed to the course. But as soon as I started I absolutely loved it. The composition of the course is great. You'll learn everything step by step and the instructions are very easy to follow. It's awesome what I've learnt in such a short time.

I really enjoyed the course. Matt broke down the process into the small steps technique, which is really effective and I believe the only way to teach people and to make them love at the same time. I've always wanted to learn how to code and I'm so glad I came across SheCodes! I'm a learner who needs structure, visuals, and deadlines and so I very much enjoyed this experience! Great class ! I learned a lot in week 1, I wish there was a bit more coding lessons in week 3.. Week 3 felt more like a recap of the other 2 weeks.

What a journey! I spent many years trying to teach myself how to make a website. I spend countless hours researching how to do this. In the amount of time that I kept trying to make a completely functional site. I became a Financial Educator started building my business from the ground up. I thought I had my life figured out. Once the pandemic hit. Everything changed and I want to embrace that change with all that I have. It's been almost a year now. Thanks to SheCodes the time it took me to learn how to make a site has been so much less. In 3 weeks I'm able to make something functional and beautiful. The skills I have learned could truly take me places while adding to my current career and opportunity is in the air again. I'm excited to continue with the next two courses and I can't wait for what the future has in store for me.

Again the pace is challenging, but not impossible to follow, the level of difficulty increases in a way that you feel like you're learning, but don't get overwhelmed.
