I enjoyed very much this online course SheCodes, I didn't expect to learn so many interesting things and to have so much fun. I am a beginner, I even didn't know what HTML or CSS or JavaScript is 😃. I liked how Matt is teaching, his very natural style, easy to understand. I highly recommend it!✨

Starting my journey in coding with the help of SheCodes was an amazing decision. Through this 3-week workshop, and even though it was held online, I felt very supported and that everything was extremely well organized. Matt is an incredible teacher and makes everything seem so simple, even for people who have never coded before. Highly recommend this workshop for anyone who is considering learning how to code!

After the 3 weeks workshop I got really excited about coding, and wanted to learn more. Matt has really shown me his passion that inspired me to go ahead with the studies, but also shown me his patience and made me realize that enrolling to SheCodes projects was just what I needed to learn. Plus is an amazing opportunity for those who like me don't really have previous knowledge, and think is quite magical to built an app! There are a lot of awesome material on the internet and is really cool to be able to read them and use it in my own projects. Hope that React is even better!!

I have tried to learn HTML, CSS and Javascript on my own but I struggled. I signed up to SheCodes Workshop which helped organize my knowledge and gave me enough confidence and willingness to continue expanding my coding skills. Can't wait to gain new set of coding abilities on SheCodes Plus!

I started the course with a little knowledge, but I learned in three weeks a lot of things about HTML, CSS and JS. The course was very simple and easy to understand. Especially the support team was incredible.They are always ready if I have any question. I truly enjoyed it and I would absolutely recommend SheCodes all ladies who wants to learn how to code. I really enjoyed learning with SheCodes. It gave me the confidence to apply for a Masters in Software Development, which I'm currently undertaking and I'll graduate in Sept 2021. This is a total change of career for me, so I can honestly say completing SheCodes changed my life.

This was challenging but I learnt a lot. It was a big step up from the initial three weeks but now I'm completely hooked and want to continue learning to code. Clearly I have so much to learn!

My SheCodes experience so far has been fantastic. It's the perfect mix of challenging, interesting and very well structured. Before SheCodes, I had tried to self teach myself Python several times, however I could never progress very far and I think the main reason is because I didn't have access to a community that supported one another nor a structured lesson plan to learn the concepts thoroughly. The SheCodes experience is well worth all the hard work and you're bound to find something you like about it. 100% recommend this program!

I loved this course, I found the tutorial really easy to follow and the challenges just difficult enough for an absolute beginner. I feel like I have a good grip of the fundamentals and looking forward to learning more!

This is one of the best courses I've ever had. Getting into React already knowing JS, HTML and CSS was so much fun and a lot easier than I expected. SheCodes methodology is very efficient and smart. Being able to look at code and understand it is something I never thought I would be doing in my life. Can't wait to learn more out in the world!

SheCodes has been a great experience! I just completed the Workshop and am very excited to continue on in the Plus curriculum. I had very little experience in HTML and no experience in CSS or JavaScript when I registered for SheCodes, and now I feel confident in all three! Also, having a platform made up of all women has been super supportive & encouraging especially with tech being a male-dominant industry. If you're looking for a career change, or just want to learn more about coding, there's a workshop for all learners!

The last three weeks have been fantastic - Matt gives a very clear breakdown on the topics and I feel like I've learnt so much in a short amount of time! I am looking forward to starting the next workshop :)

I love SheCodes! I decided to take the SheCodes workshops during Quarantine, and it has been a great way to grow my knowledge of coding and have something productive to do with all of my extra free time indoors. I would HIGHLY recommend these workshops to anyone who has wanted to learn more about coding, the videos are easy to follow, and the homework and projects are easy to complete. No deadline will make you feel overwhelmed, and the Slack communities they have created are all welcoming. All of the women in the slack communities want you to succeed. It's a great place to see women empowering other women! And coming out of the other side of the Plus workshop with an app you built by yourself is one of the BEST feelings! 10/10, 10000000 ⭐️.

I learned far more than I was expecting in the 3 week course. It was very fast paced, but I never felt lost.

It has been a great learning experience! Coding can be intimidating, but with SheCodes it was much easier to understand. It's fun to learn, Matt is a great, attentive instructor and the technical team (and the community, too) is always there to lend a hand. They have answers to all of your questions!

I never thought I would ever take a coding course, but I am extremely glad that I did, especially one from SheCodes. At first, I was a bit overwhelmed by the idea of learning how to code. However, Matt’s unique way of teaching this male-dominated field took that feeling away immediately. His course is well-organised and the topics are explained thoroughly. I was able to absorb the basics of coding (HTML/CSS and JavaScript) in such a short period of time, and the workshop also paved a new path for me. I'm an artist and graphic designer. While looking into extra credit courses available to add to my diploma, I came across SheCodes. I have always wondered if coding was something I would be good at or enjoy. I'm proud to say I now have experience in coding. I, myself, created an online webpage using the coding skills and techniques I learned through SheCodes. As a graphic designer, I now have more insight into how visual and physical design interact and create webpages, websites, and more. Having this background knowledge adds to my value as a graphic designer and artist.

I am really happy with SheCodes workshops! I have never had any coding experience before, and now I am really excited about what is more to learn in this field. I work in marketing and I strongly believe that the knowledge gained thanks to SheCodes will help me to enrich my portfolio. SheCodes Plus course was challenging, but I learn a lot in a short time and had fun while doing that. The course is well structured and provides a good foundation for understanding how to code. I believe this is a big step in my transition to a career as a developer.

I've really enjoyed the videos and challenges SheCodes provides. It has taught me alot and has allowed me to practice applying what I have learnt in the videos. I would highly recommend SheCodes!

Googling certain things outside of the lesson felt necessary for a few of the assignments, but I think that's part of the learning process. Happy with how my final project came out. This is a great lesson for anyone wanting to jump in to coding.

SheCodes workshop has been amazing and insightful. The challenge given after a lesson was my favorite part as it helped me understand the process a lot quicker. Learning HTML, CSS, and Java in a span of 3 weeks was definitely worth the time and effort spent!

SheCodes is amazing! I have always been hesitant to learn how to code, but this program makes it a lot easier. I never had to worry about struggling to find a solution, because there are plenty of instructions and resources provided. Everyone is also super nice, and there is always somebody available to answer your questions. Now, I am finally confident to say that I both understand and enjoy coding.

I'm having lots of fun remembering and learning to code. The lessons are super clear but with lots of information each to improve very fast you knowledge on coding. Literally your imagination is the limit! Can't wait for the Plus Workshop next week. :)

I signed up for the 3 month workshop but I've loved it so far, the three week one has been really fullfilling, I've learned a lot and I found the methods easy to follow, it's pretty easy to understand Matt and I really love the page interface. I'm looking forward to continue.

A very interesting course that has taught many things in a very short time. Most of the explanations are easy to follow and some of them are more challenging. Overall, I have really enjoyed this course. I didn't know I could enjoy coding, but now I am looking forward to learning more and soon start SheCodes React.

SheCodes workshop has been a great experience! I had never coded before and I was scared it would be a nightmare, but SheCodes made me feel excited to learn, with lessons which were easy to follow, enough practice exercises (with explained solutions), while still being challenging.

After completing the SheCodes Workshop I was thrilled to get started with the SheCodes Plus Workshop. It did not disappoint at all! I truly enjoyed learning all the elements of front-end development and felt that each lesson was well crafted and the pace was just right. I am proud of my final project. The structure of the program really allowed me to process and implement each learning. I had some issues sticking with the timeline but they were very understanding and still allowed me to complete the program past the deadlines. Overall the way the classes were taught and logic explained, allowed me to build a strong foundation to pursue coding further! Highly recommend and looking forward to taking the Plus course next.

After my 3 week intro course I was ready to learn more. I have now submitted my final project in SheCodes Plus workshop and I am so proud of my self for how everything turned out. This course is perfect if you don't know anything about coding but you'd love to learn the basics.

I enjoyed the SheCodes Workshop very much. The workshop pace is just right, and you can watch and rewatch the videos at your own time. These topics were initially rather daunting, but this workshop exceeded my expectations. The Challenges at the end of each lesson help reinforce the teachings and allow us to practise. I have been interested in coding for a while (actually, since middle school when we learn how to code with QBasic - yes, so long time ago 😁), so finally I decided to join SheCodes. SheCodes workshop is super well structured and easily explained. After just 3 week course, I was able to create my own one-page website! I highly recommend! ✌👩‍💻

SheCodes Workshop totally exceeded all expectations of what I thought the course would be like, and what I would gain from doing it. The prospect of learning how to code (effectively from scratch!) was daunting at first, but the course format, structure of each lesson, set tasks/challenges and weekly homework projects made my coding journey not only fun and digestible, but also extremely rewarding. Being able to receive personal feedback as well as learn and take inspiration from other coders on the Slack channel was a real bonus, and it has been great to be part of the community! Learning about vanilla JavaScript has finally demystified the "complexities". Before this course, I was very confused about how JavaScript worked. I knew that it is incredibly powerful and in fact powered most of the internet or websites. But I just didn't how it worked. This course gave me the wonderful gift of finally understanding and loving JavaScript and having a ton of fun with it. I finally understand that it is a language of functions and you create those functions to bring features to life. And incredibly so, learning JavaScript empowers you in understand other languages as well. It's truly incredible. Once again thank you to the whole SheCodes Team and Matt for this wonderful journey and all their support. These 3 weeks have been challenging but interesting. Every course had me engaged, and the classes kept pulling at my curiosity about the power behind coding. I am excited about the upcoming workshops and all there is to learn.

I was terrible at programming in high school, so I didn't have much confidence in myself to do well at this course. The videos and challenges were well-structured and easy to follow, and I'm surprised both at how much I learned and how well I ultimately did. The course was a lot more satisfying and fun than expected, and I'm glad I did it!

I have really enjoyed learning how to build a weather app from scratch. Matt has been a great teacher and I am pleasantly surprised at how much I have learnt!

I've had some experience with HTML in the past, but this workshop really put it in a way that was very easy to understand. CSS and JavaScript were new to me, and I learned a lot within this first workshop. I'm really looking forward to learning even more with SheCodes+ and SheCodes React.

I have tried to learn programming for a long time, I just didn't know how or where to start. I tried various free courses but I never finished them because I didn't actually feel like I was learning. With SheCodes I feel like I have learned and I have what I need to start something amazing. Thanks to this module I was able to implement a reactive page allowing me to interact with different APIs. This has also given me the opportunity to learn how to interact with APIs and how integrations work. Great module! I'll continue with the next one, willing to improve and reach a turning point for my education.

It is a great course. I don't work or want to work in this area, but I felt that the basic knowledge was important. In the end, I have learned more than I was expecting and had a lot of fun in the process.

The SheCodes Plus workshop is well explained and practical. There is a nice combination of video's and practicing. You learn by working on your own project. I didn't expect to be able to make weather app in such a short time! The last lessons enable you to start another nice project on your own, after finishing the workshop.

I wanted to learn some basics of coding so I could make changes to my own website!

I had an interest in learning how to code but I thought it was going to be hard for me to learn. SheCodes made it easy to understand, and enjoyable to learn. I always felt like if I was stuck on something, help was right there. Matt explained each assignment/homework so that it wasn't difficult. He made everything do much easier to understand. I'm looking forward to using the skills I have gained from SheCodes!

SheCodes is a great place to start learning code. I was a skeptical at first because my young mind doesn't do well with people telling me exactly what I should be doing and not giving me the freedom of making my own projects or learning on my own. Matt's lesson give you very clear knowledge and so much room to learn things in your own way and at your own pace. I hope everyone can learn as much as I did. Can't wait to go out and learn more! 😋

I'm so glad that I had the determination to initiate this course! It's been years ago since I felt curious about coding but never felt it was the right moment and I dind't know where to start. Like most people, I had the idea that it was a difficult and innaccessible subject, plus, my area of study is not related to it (psychology). But this course is so well structured and the lessons are so clear that it made me realize it is possible to understand the basic principles and enjoy it. In summary, I think I've learnt something really worthy and as my limiting beliefs faded I feel encouraged to continue my journey in the world of programming!

I really enjoyed these few weeks coding with you! As Matt says in the free coding class you can learn to code on your own for free on Internet, but here you have exercises, materials and video lessons already prepared for you. All you need to know is how to schedule your time :) Great workshop!

I am glad that I decided to take this workshop. It's really cool how easy and fun the learning process was. But at the same time, we had complicated homework and projects. I only took three week's workshop, but it gave me an understanding of Front-End Development.

This is a fantastic course for anyone wanting to learn to code, even if you are a complete beginner like myself! The course context is well presented and broken down in small bite-size chunks. The challenges and weekly homework tasks are not only one of the best ways to test what you have learnt but also make learning to code fun and interactive. Definitely, would recommend SheCodes.
