My feedback is very positive. As a person who never coded before, and that only started learning at the SheCodes Workshop, I found it was easy to keep up with the course schedule for each week (even working on a full time consulting job during the week). The way the course is structured, with classes divided in small videos, each with a corresponding challenge to help you put in practice what you have just learned, makes it easier to learn the concepts and also to keep you motivated to work on your project and reach the end result. I never thought I could build my own weather app, and I made it! I really recommend this course if you have the aim to develop your HTML/CSS/JavaScript skills, and look also for opportunities to learn React.

Definitely enjoyed following this course! The pace was adequate with a good balance between explanatory videos and hands-on coding exercises. After this course, I have a much stronger knowledge of front-end development & workflow, and a good foundation for further learning.

It was a great restart for me! As an engineer I took some coding courses at the university, but the way they were taught was neither attractive nor practical. SheCodes has a practical approach that allows us to test everything we learn and ask questions whenever we need to! I recommend this WS to all girls who feel that web development is something they would like to try, as it is a tool that requires only a computer and the internet. With this kind of skill we can complement something we do on a day-to-day basis with something we can capitalize on remotely.

SheCodes is worth everything you put into it. I had tried to learn to code so many times on my own, but I would ultimately get discouraged or bored because none of the courses provided a well-rounded overview of the basics in such a short amount of time as SheCodes. Seeing how HTML, CSS and JS fit together to make a website lit a spark inside me. Everything seemed to make more sense. I feel empowered to learn more and totally capable of becoming a developer, now that I can see that it's not a question of intelligence, but of putting in the work.

An excellent way to learn to code even without any basic knowledge, since it could be easily turned into an overwhelming experience. Also, the teaching method is very practical and the fact that Matt is an experienced full stack developer is a big bonus, explaining every line of the codes and advising about the dos and don’ts.

A few years ago, speaking English was a skill valued in the market. Currently, it is the minimum required. Of course I don't feel a programmer after the workshop but I feel that I have the tools to start learning by myself! This was a great experience, no regrets at all! I thought that coding was an impossible thing for me to learn, but I was wrong, actually that is very interesting and at SheCodes everything was taught in a very simple and easy way.
Great way to get the fundamentals of programming when you don't have any knowledge of Data Science or related fields. The explanations are clear and deep enough to give you an idea of where you need to go in your own time. The exercises also help you to put into practise all you have learned as you go along as well as the final project!
A great workshop for people who are curious about programing. I already had some knowledge of CSS and HTML and it was still a great learning experience. It is fast-paced, and you might find yourself at a loss a couple of times, but Matt is a great teacher and you end up the workshop with great basics.

I decided to join the SheCodes Workshop because knowing something of coding would help accelerate some processes in my current job and aid the communication with the IT team! I left the workshop convinced that this was the best thing I could have done for my company and myself! The way the workshop is designed is really motivating. You are constantly putting into practice the new learning and getting validation that you can actually make it - it is really empowering! Coding is not a seven-headed monster!

Throughout the weekend we learnt the very basics of how to create a webpage and how to make it interactive with the user, by resorting to HTML, CSS and JavaScript. SheCodes is an amazing workshop! In only 2 days we learnt so much and if before I thought coding was Chinese, now I can google it, understand what is presented and learn so much more!
I really enjoyed the experience and learned a lot with SheCodes! I was very interested in learning about coding but did not know where to start until I knew SheCodes. When I first started the course I knew very little about coding and now I can understand some basic concepts and probably will be learning even more in the future.

Absolutely loved learning coding, still so much to learn but this was the perfect way to start for someone who had no clue about coding! I only wish the 3rd week also had a couple more lessons to keep learning more JS! I have every intention of joining SheCodes+ as I loved the teaching style!!

It was a great refresher course for myself; I studied web development 10 years ago in college but haven't written any code for a few years - the tutorials were thorough and at a great speed, allowing for me to learn at my own pace.
I saw an ad for SheCodes via Instagram and was intrigued by the whole concept and initiative to get more females into tech and coding! As a sociology student, I already had some experience with coding in other programs and languages, so I wasn't all new to the concept of coding, but learned a ton nonetheless! Matt's teaching is delivered in a very pedagogic manner, which makes a whole lot easier for both beginners and people on an intermediate level. Definitely worth it!

This workshop is the best first approach that you can have for coding. In the past I tried to learn some basic things from internet and it´s so dificult compared to the lessons that Matt give! I've really enjoyed the course and feel like I have learnt a lot. The format and materials are great; it's really useful having a challenge after each video to practise what you have learnt. I've tried a lot of other coding courses and haven't felt as motivated to finish them like I have with this course as you are more accountable and the deadlines are tight. The community is great and there's lots of support available if you need it.
Never thought it would be so much fun learning how to build a landing page, I will be recommending SheCodes to everyone with an interest in programming! This course was my first approach to coding. My surprise when I found myself developing a website that may actually work (!) and be useful to others. I learnt tools that will help me in my professional life as medical doctor and teacher. I just want to learn more and to do better.

Matt teaches it simple way, step by step. You quickly learn what you thought it was unthinkable at the outset to achieve in such a short time.
