SheCodes has been an awesome experience for me. I didn't know if I would be able to learn how to code before I took this course. It hasn't just taught me how to code but to enjoy coding. I am looking forward to learning more in future courses!

I’ve worked in the IT field for years as a Help Desk and System Admin tech. Taking this course definitely relit my fire for the technical field! I am excited to learn more so that I may be able to fully transition to the coding field.

When I completed SheCodes' other offerings, I promised I'd be first in line to sign up if a new course was ever launched. So, of course I jumped at the chance to be an early participant in the new Responsive Design program! Not only did Matt's instructions help me reinforce my previous knowledge of HTML and CSS, but with Matt and João's guidance I learned out to built an attractive multipage website that is optimized for multiple devices and screen sizes. I learned so much practical knowledge, and the final project was a blast! I can't wait to continue my responsive design practice and promising now yet again that if another SheCodes class becomes available, I will be first to sign up!

Great workshop. Learned a lot in a short amount of time, but also encouraged to go beyond the lessons. Looking forward to the next workshop.

Great intro - from not really knowing anything I can now make fun interactive HTML docs. I'm looking forward to learning more about these and other languages, and how to host pages!

SheCodes Plus workshop is definitely much more challenging and demanding compared to the previous SheCodes Basic. Working step by step every week on your weather app, trying to understand more deep and complex Javascript you soon realize how amazing programming is 🤩 Thank you very much for this experience! I am very excited to move on and learn React 👩🏼‍💻 You are building a working weather app but at the same time is amazing that you finish your project with I had a wonderful experience with SheCodes. After completing the first workshop, I went onto SheCodes Plus and learned so much more! I would recommend these workshops to anyone interested in learning to code because they're well organized and broken down into digestible sections. Not to mention the support you can receive via Slack is super helpful. Excited to move on to the next workshop and begin learning React!

A fascinating and brilliantly put together course, I can't say enough good things about this sequence of courses. I am a fashion designer and I decided to change my career after getting introduced to Web Development via research and acquaintances. I find myself in an entry-level position in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript5. I have learned a lot of design patterns and principles that helped me to apply coding on my daily basis and it will be easier for me to get deeper into programming language after that. I am very glad that I got knowledge of coding languages through SheCodes. Even though I've been working with front and back-end developers for over 10 years, I've always had an extreme and irrational fear of learning to code. But with my deep love for UI and UX design and project management, I knew that I would be a better UX designer and manager if I knew how to code and after the last couple of weeks, I can totally see how my deeper understanding of code has had a positive effect on my work. I feel empowered and I'll be coming back for more @shecodes!

This has been a great learning experience - the classes are very well structured and explained and I would highly recommend this course!

After working in retail for many years, my husband and I were in a car accident that left him permanently disabled. When life deals a bad hand, there aren't a lot of options but to push harder or give up. I decided to push harder and changed careers. I needed something that could provide for us and our young son. But I didn't have a degree. So, I began pursuing IT certifications. I passed the A+ and landed a job at a Helpdesk. I've been there for about 18 months and am now pursuing a degree in Cyber Security. However, the leap from Helpdesk to Security is impossible without experience, certifications, and degrees. I started working with sites to learn ethical hacking, but they required coding experience, which I did not have -- dead end. While studying for the Security+, I saw an ad for SheCodes on YouTube. It sounded too good to be true, so I did some digging. Sure enough, it was legit and had awesome ratings! Then, I nervously asked my husband, "Do you mind if I pay for an online coding class that may or may be a scam??" haha And he said yes! That leads me to now! I just finished the final project and feel SO much more confident. I have programming classes required for my major, which I start next week, and now I'm prepared to take them on. I have even gone so far as to reach out and start networking with jobs in app development, system operations, and internal security. If there is someone out there who isn't sure, I would say this: Grab life by the reins and MAKE IT HAPPEN! SheCodes is a perfect place to start! Matt is an excellent teacher, and the structure is well laid out and very easy to learn. Go out there and get it, girl, because you deserve this!

First time trying coding. Started with the Basic workshop. SheCodes crew made it into a really nice learning platform. I discovered how much fun it is for me to learn coding and how much I can enjoy the frustration it can bring.😄 Loved it. Can't wait to continue with the following workshops.

Building a weather forecast app from scratch was a challenging yet a very interesting assignment. I see that I have still a lot to learn and I'm eager to continue with my next workshop. Really excited! Thank you for the lessons. :)

I am extremely satisfied with this workshop! Coding can be very intimidating for absolute beginners but through Matt's great pedagogy and clarity (said from a teacher :p), short but efficient lessons, and regular practice, it is quite mind blowing what one can do within just three weeks of learning! All the new notions are broken down into single blocks of learning to grasp the essential meanings, demonstrated in videos with explanations and documentation too. We then get familiar with these new notions to finally apply them into various tasks. It is a very progressive and fun process. Thank you so much. I am very much looking forward to the next training!

I always thought coding was too difficult for me to learn, but luckily I was wrong. I absolutely loved learning the basics of HTML, CSS & Javascript. I have loved doing the 3 week Coding workshop! I was brand new to coding and just wanted to learn the basics to see how I got on; I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the course! The videos are really clear and easy to follow and you get all the support you need every step of the way. I wanted to learn how to code to start my own blog. 3 weeks ago I didn't know a thing about coding, but after taking SheCodes I have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to write basic code. Matt Delac is a great instructor. He has made learning how to code easy, fun, and practical. I feel very fortunate to have come across SheCodes and enroll in the courses.

I really enjoyed these 3 weeks of coding! I knew nothing about HTML, CSS or Java Script, and still I was able to build my first "web page". The classes were really easy to follow and I am excited to continue learning how to code - even though my job has nothing to do with it. What an exciting journey!

This beginner course was amazing! I never thought I could learn so much in three weeks having tried other types of courses before (without success). It's really easy to follow all of the classes and the challenges along the way helps you put into practice everything you've learned. I fully recommend it.

This is the perfect course for beginner coders. Learning the basics takes time and patience and I felt really supported by Matt's tutorials, the Slack group and trusty ol' Google. I could fit it around my working schedule and it gave me a small sense of achievement each time I passed a lesson. It has gotten me excited to see what else I can learn in coding and what the possibilities are.

I've learn soo much with SheCodes and Now Im starting my own business with jewelry!! and making my own website! Definitely take this course it will come in handy and its fun to design and have your own vision:)

Some tricky and challenging coding, but Matt does a good job of explaining and walking through examples. Really enjoyed adding real live data into the app - feels a bit like a Frankenstein moment - and great to learn the workflow, not just the granular detail of the coding.

Absolutely enjoyed it!!! So easy to follow with zero experience. I've already recommended this to a ton of my friends deciding what they are going to do after the military. I've been showing them my progress and they are interested. I can't wait to learn even more in the next workshop.

This course was very well structured, I had SO much fun and It was completely possible to achieve parallel to my full-time job as an Architect. I had some previous coding background (but this previous learning experience was really painful and I hated it, I think because I couldn't understand it). I can just say that during this course I finally found the "love" for coding and I'm ready to continue the following courses until I become a "pro" in Front End-Development. Do not hesitate to try it, really, I think anyone could enjoy this! Happy Coding! :)

SheCodes has been an amazing resource on my journey into front-end development. The course isn't without its frustrations, as with learning anything new, but the reward of building my own weather app, the fantastic help given by the team, and the clear tutorials published by Matt have made the last 8 weeks truly worthwhile. I can't wait to continue...

I have enjoyed this course very much, at the final challenge I kept getting angry at myself as I kind of want to do things that I havent learned yet, so this has me very motivated to continue learning to code :)

I really liked this workshop! The lessons seem short but when you notice is full of information, Matt also explains in an easy way to understand. I have to say also good work support team. This workshop is good for you to learn the basics and to see if you like it or not.

I absolutely loved doing this course! It's broken down into digestible chunks which makes it really easy to follow and learn. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to learn a new skill or improve on their basic knowledge of coding.

Every week offers a new challenge to learn and adapt to the languages of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Its program is a flow into the next step, that way you create what was just learned. Smart feedback loop. I feel confident enough to move forward into the Plus and React programs. Another Big bonus is the community that we connect with on Slack to find solutions while participating in each lesson.

This was a great three week course. It's a great opportunity to learn at your own pace. The video lessons and tutorials are so easy to digest and follow. While you don't get the benefit of being in class together, having Slack to check in with fellow classmates and request assistance is a great tool.

SheCodes was honestly more fun that I thought it would be! Matt's videos are easy to follow with bite size pieces of information and learning. I have always been interested in learning how to code and SheCodes makes it easy to approach a complex topic.

More than a strong pedagogical training, this introduction is the first step to a new passionate, and infinite world of learnings and discoverings. HRBP, it helped me to adopt a new technologic mindset and logic and I'm thirsty for strengthening these new competencies! Thanks, Matt for this new adventure!

After 11 years of gap, I started updating my knowledge about computers by doing some free courses, I was frustrated as there is no particular way. While doing these tutorials, I came across SheCodes workshop which matched my expectation to pursue my goal to become a front -end developer. SheCodes courses are well designed and easy to learn. In terms of easy to learn, the courses has not only learning tutorials but also some short challenges and solutions. I have completed SheCodes Plus and React courses and recently I join Responsive course. Through this I understand current Tech world about website-application design and development. This was my first proper coding workshop and I have to say its was brilliant. I really enjoyed learning and creating a page from scratch, and I will definitely be looking into improving my skills and knowledge further.

SheCodes wasn't the first time I tried coding. But it was the first time I had fun coding. It was easy to into, great challenges. I'm going to continue learning thanks to this great intro!

I would definitely recommend SheCodes. I didn't have any experience in coding, but yet with the instructional videos and information it was quite easy (and fun!) to complete the challenges. Matt is a good teacher, he has a good pace and his enthusiasm is pleasant to listen to and learn from. The first workshop has definitely sparked my interest in coding.

This course is incredibly useful and it's great to see the progress in building the app. It was challenging and fun at the same time. React is much easier to use and understand than VanillaJS, so I felt less overwhelmed in terms of notions and learnings. The lessons are well-structured and the Slack community is supportive in the case you feel stuck.

SheCodes workshop has been an amazing and also intense experience. I would recommend this experience to everyone who is interested in learning a new skill!

This course really challenged me compared to the previous two courses but I'm proud I made it through and I learned so much about React. The classes are easy to follow and I'm very happy that Slack is there is I ever get stuck on coding! :)

This workshop was awesome! I really enjoyed being able to expand my skills by learning React. I also liked being able to apply these skills to the already familiar project of the weather app. Having a community through the Slack was great in order to connect with others and ask questions.

I would highly recommend this course! It was very well structured, easy to understand and most importantly, a lot of fun! I'm impressed how much I was able to learn in this short amount of time and it was great to apply those new skills in the final project. I really enjoyed this course and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn Frontend development skills. It is easy to follow and well explained and most of all, it is a lot of fun.

JS is pretty challenging, but all of a sudden - it just clicks! Matt runs through an entire project from start to finish in week 6 of SheCodesPlus - which is amazing as everything you've learned previously is all put together with a better understanding as you've been using each section bit by bit. Love it!

While I had some prior experience with the material, it was amazing how the videos and interactive challenges helped me relearn and retain the information. Matts videos made learning fun and there is always help available through Slack. I am very excited to move to SheCodes Plus to continue with learning!

I chose this class because of how Matt breaks down every little piece of information - it makes it so easy to learn and gives me confidence along the way!
