A truly well organized course! This is just what you need as a beginner to get started with coding. I have much more confidence now to continue learning.

I highly recommend the SheCodes workshops! I was always very curious about coding, but never really had the time to explore this world, when this course came up on my LinkedIn feed it felt perfect timing! I first went to the free coding class with Matt and in just that 1h I learned so much. The SheCodes Online Workshop is suited for students of all ages and for beginners, it's well-paced, and at the end of each lesson, we have the opportunity to also practice with homework and projects. We are fully supported, if we have any difficulties on the projects we can ask the technical assistants and fellow students, and Matt is a brilliant teacher! After this workshop, I'm thinking to continue my studies in coding!
Learning how to code with SheCodes was an amazing experience! It was only 3 weeks, but time flies! I never knew you could learn so much in just 3 weeks time. I already was an online marketer, and so I already knew very little about coding. But it feels very good that now I can understand what my colleagues are actually saying. I actually have some basic knowledge about programming. However, the technology is always evolving, and it is hard to catch up all the time if there is less opportunities to leverage its skillset. Therefore, the learning through SheCodes' Workshop made me be up to date! It's fun more than anything else!
Matt and the rest of the SheCodes team made what would have taken me months on my own super easy, fast, and enjoyable to learn! Going from zero previous coding experience to understanding HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in three weeks feels like a huge accomplishment, following the videos and practice exercises made learning how to code really interesting and fun! Learning to code originally seemed daunting and like so much to take in, but is now something I really love and am looking forward to continuing!!
I have really enjoyed this workshop, the videos Matt has provided have been informative and easy to understand. The homework required to submit after each week had motivated me into wanting to learn more. This workshop is great for someone who wants to learn to code but can't commit to a full time bootcamp or a set schedule of live lessons. Matt explains everything very clearly for an absolute beginner, while also encouraging you to figure some things out on your own. The challenges after each lesson reinforce what you've learned so you really feel like you understand what you're doing. I'm excited to move on to the next part of the workshop!
I had a great time learning basic skills in HTLM, CSS and JavaScript through SheCodes. The instruction videos are very clear and elaborate and the support network consisting of tutors and students is super helpfull. Though SheCodes is solely online, you really feel the support of your peers. I would highly recommend anyone who's willing to learn to do the workshop. It's 100% worth your time and money! I really enjoyed the SheCodes basics after doing the lessons. I don't mean to sound proud but it was very easy and elementary for me to learn. I really do recommend this course to anyone as Matt is a good teacher he makes coding very very easy. I also enjoyed the challenges too learning JavaScript, HTML, CSS all together. I can't wait to move on to SheCodes Plus after doing the basics.

I joined SheCodes with no coding experience, in fact coding intimidated me but I wanted to change that and that's one of the reasons why I joined the workshop. It's very beginner friendly, I learned a lot and was not overwhelmed at all. I recommend to anyone wanting to learn a new skill.

I love SheCodes - these were amazing 3 weeks learning basic coding in a fun and interactive way. I would like to continue this exciting journey when I graduate from my MBA. I started the SheCodes Workshop without any experience and in three weeks I learned a lot! Completing SheCodes Plus was a challenge to say the least. It took longer than expected with many frustrating moments but was worth absolutely every minute of the time I spent wrecking my brain over my code. I learned a lot and I am looking forward to the next step which is SheCodes React. 🙌🏼
Knowing how to code has always been something I dreamed of. Every time I tried to learn by myself, I had this difficulty of not knowing where to start and how to keep myself motivated. I found that the SheCodes Workshops are well structured and engaging. You also know what is the next thing you can have to learn and have a peace of mind knowing that if you need help, there are people to whom you can reach out easily.
Complete beginner here! I've tried and failed, start and stopped free coding workshops, and felt convinced I would never get the hang of it. I wasn't cut out for coding. Now, I'm sad it's going to be over! I had so much fun learning from Matt, the tools were amazing and the knowledge feels like a huge stepping stone for me! I was itching to get my two little girls to bed every night these past three weeks so that I could get to my challenges! The project was so fun, I finished it early :) I cannot recommend this enough.

Before attending the course i was a little bit nervous to immerse myself into something that is so different and remote from everything i have ever done previously. But after the first lesson my enthusiasm was grown up to 1000%, and i truly believe it's a merit of Matt who has managed to create a great way of teaching which can work for any beginner who really wants to learn. I am so happy i discovered this course!
This course was an eye-opener. I knew nothing about coding before and didn't know how fun it can be. It was also challenging but totally worth it and if you need assistance solving a problem then help is available at any time. So excited to learn more!

I really enjoyed this SheCodes course and think it has been a great introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The teaching videos were very clear and the opportunity to do the challenges straight after each video was a great way to put into practice what you had just learned.

I had a wonderful time during the workshop. I'm a graduate student in Plant Biology, and I was looking for expanding my skillset during the quarantine. Classes were easy to follow, and the support team on Slack very friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn to program, even those without much time on their hands.

Great introductory course, I had a little knowledge of HTML but this has given me more insights into how everything fits together and some tools to keep on learning. The community on slack is great and really helpful.
In the past I had a short adventure with coding while my studies and after that experienced I was sure, coding is not something for me. Few years after that experience I decided to give a chance to SheCodes and I'm extremely happy I did! Each SheCodes lesson is explained very well and it makes the whole learning experience fun :) I highly recommend it to anyone, who wants to learn at least basics of coding.

SheCodes is a great way to start learning how to code with ZERO knowledge. I came with a background in E-Commerce, curious to learn what goes into making a website. My education experience is actually in Social Work, so I was definitely intimidated to go into learning something completely different than my previous education experience. SheCodes makes it easy to learn coding at your own pace. They don't walk you through EVERY little thing, but encourage you to do your own research at times during the course. There is an awesome community that helps you with your questions along the way. I did the 3 week course, and am highly contemplating upgrading to the advanced courses. I would recommend it to anybody who feels that coding can be a little daunting, and doesn't know where to start. It's a great tool for the price.
The course is easy to follow and the instructions were very clear and informative. There is a lot to learn within a short period of time and since it is online it requires a lot of self-discipline.
I always love to learn new skills quickly but efficiently and SheCodes offers exactly that! It went quickly but I understood everything pretty well. Now, I want to pursue my love for coding by taking the next workshop that is offered to me!
SheCodes Plus was just what I was looking for in a coding workshop. It's a great entry into learning vanilla javascript and how to host your own website! The weather project that I worked on over the course of the program really helped cement all of the new techniques I was learning each week. I look forward to learning even more in SheCodes React :)

I have no words to describe how SheCodes made me learn something completely new and from scratch since April. My first SheCodes Workshop was supposed to be in Porto (4-5th April) instead it was a full weekend online and it was awesome! Even far away i felt connected. I wish we could have been together, get to know each other. @Matt, when this is all over lets do a big reunion with live music :) These workshops are time well spent really, always a challenge :) Thanks to all the SheCodes Team for the support! This course provided me with an easy, yet challenging, and accessible way to learn about some web development basics. The schedule of courses/challenges was provided in a way that allowed you to learn a bit at time and then build on your knowledge. It was broken down in a way that made it less overwhelming. What an excellent course!

I went into SheCodes with 0 coding experience. I've had a great time the past three weeks where I've learned and done more than what I thought I was capable of. I strongly recommend this workshop for women who have always been intimidated of coding, don't let that hold you back! At the beginning I could not imagine I was going to find coding fun but I genuinely do now and I can't wait to learn more.
I had never been interested in coding before, but after having attended and completed this first workshop I really feel I would love to learn more. The course is well structured, tailor-made to suit newbies, and easy to fit in a busy schedule. It was also very rewarding to see exercise by exercise how much I was learning. I will definitely be enrolling in another SheCode workshop in the future. In the meanwhile, as Matt says, Happy Coding Everyone!
Coding felt like an unachievable goal with a tsunami of things to learn but SheCodes take you through it stage by stage without looking to the future, which all felt too intimidating, then suddenly you're three weeks down and you've happily done a lot of work without it feeling scary! Although still challenging I'm really looking forward to pursue this further, it's very satisfying work!

I have had so much fun learning the basics of coding in this course! Matt and his team have developed a well-structured course that is easy to follow. I enjoyed this course, but I would've liked to cover more of the theory, rather than just learning tags. However, this is a good introduction to coding and you can quickly make simple pages.
SheCodes has been awesome! The classes are broken into really easy to digest sections which make it easy to learn a bit at a time but also consolidate your learning with challenges and homework at the end of the week. It was also super beginner friendly for someone with no coding background as well - Matt does a great job of explaining everything without using too much jargon or technical language.

I would highly recommend SheCodes to those interested in learning code from zero or are beginners. I had HTML and CSS classes in the past, but I have never explored Javascript in-depth, and this was the perfect introduction course to start understanding the possibility I have.

During this difficult time, continue to learn is one of the best options I have to get through the anxiety related to uncertainty /challenges, I then found SheCodes. SheCodes introductory workshop was very easy for me to follow and reach the weekly objective, I really recommend this as people's attention is constantly switching, the idea of short videos per topics is great and wouldn't make you feel overwhelmed that there are so much tasks following ahead.
