Great to finally have a course that makes learning coding manageable. Without too many hours managed to learn a lot in a short time - perfect for when you are looking to learn coding next to a full time job. Can highly recommend it!

SheCodes was an opportunity to learn more about the different aspects of a product development process. It strengthened my knowledge and encouraged me to pursue my career in tech. I particularly enjoyed the creative aspects of the course.

A nice way to learn a new language! I really enjoyed learning HTML, JavaScript and CSS with Matt. I loved seeing my project building up step by step to the final website. I will definitely use what I have learnt to make another personal project.

I've always wanted to learn how to code. However, most of my friends told me that coding was way too difficult. Luckily I discovered SheCodes and can now prove them wrong 💪 I really enjoyed this workshop as it is very well structured and easy to understand. I particularly liked the fact that after almost every lesson there was a task to be solved 🤓 I totally recommend SheCodes to all women with no coding background! 🤩

This coding workshop is very easy to understand and I really enjoy it! Especially got the deadline to submit homework. (I know you might think is weird but I found that I enjoy this challenge!) I have learned HTML/CSS before but that time I wasn't interested(+busy) to dive deep into it. I totally recommend who has no coding background start learning at SheCodes.
I would Highly recommend this workshop! I wanted to know the basics of programming and now I feel that not only I learned the basics but I could actually apply them in a project that I am proud of. Great online classes, I have learned a lot over the past few months. The video tutorials were very clear and the workload has been very manageable. I found it useful having access to the Slack group and other student's projects when tasks became challenging. Looking forward to learning more.
I wouldn’t recommend the workshop to people who already been through computer science class especially React. On the other hand I highly recommend this workshop for people who want to learn React or take their first steps into programming / development. I had fun during this workshop, it was nice to challenge myself and to try new things, as well as to improve my knowledge. The team is always ready to support you, even with problems that I had created myself by creating the project differently than requested, because I wanted to challenge myself a bit more. Thanks to you all, it was a fun time.
I have had a great time learning how to code with SheCodes. It not only teaches and gives suggested answers to each tutorials, but also allows us to ask questions when we face problems with our coding. Besides, the deadline of each week's homework disciplines me to pass up my project on time as I tend to procrastinate a lot. For me, it was the best decision to sign up for SheCodes.
I really liked the course as Matt explains every step in detail and you have the freedom to watch the lessons whenever and wherever you want. I like the structure of the self-study course and you also get support when you got stuck but you also learn how to look up public developer pages and find own solutions.

10/10 experience! This 3 week course went above and beyond my expectations, having no knowledge at all in relation to HTML, CSS and JS, prior to starting this fast pace course. I would 100% recommend to all women wanting to learn the basics. The support provided by the SheCodes Slack Chat community and technical assistants is just fantastic.
It's tough but totally worth it in the end. I'm excited to learn more in the next workshop!
The SheCodes Plus workshop is great value for money - there's so much to learn and so much to experiment with. I really feel like I know so much more than when I started out. I decided to continue my coding journey with SheCodes after learning a ton in the intro workshop and finding that I really enjoyed it. I'm leaving this workshop feeling accomplished and excited for React!
I've always wanted to learn how to code, so when I saw an ad for these workshops I was immediately excited. The platform and the way the workshops are made, are mostly self explanatory and even if you have questions, there's space to ask them. Next to all of that I loved the community of all the women learning how to code. No questions were invalid and I felt empowered by reading everyone's story.

Within just three weeks, I learned a lot! I always saw codes while dealing with stories at work, but I never understood them. After this workshop, I'm able to understand a little more and further develop an appreciation for coding! I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn something new. The program was easy to follow and people were very helpful!
I have really enjoyed the course; it's very challenging, but support is on hand and Matt's style of teaching is easy to follow. I have found the community supportive and it's allowed me to learn new skills which I've really enjoyed.
I'm very glad I took the entire SheCodes series. I strengthened the skills I already had and I've still learned so much, even though I have taken a few intro coding bootcamps. Honestly, React doesn't seem nearly as intimidating now as before I began the React workshop. In general, there are are quite a few things I'd already run across before while learning JavaScript but I didn't fully grasp them until I took these workshops. Matt walks you through the lessons in a very approachable way and the slack community definitely keeps you from feeling like you are on your own to figure things out. I highly recommend this series to anyone wanting to learn JavaScript and React.
Having absolutely no background in coding I have really learned a lot with SheCodes. Matt explains every step very well and it's really fun to build a page from scratch and add to the functionality with each lesson.

I enjoyed the workshop. My only thing is I am a visual learner so having to look up code that wasn't shown made it difficult for me. However, I was able to go outside of my comfort zone and enjoyed the challenge. Plus I was able to find the items I needed to complete this workshop😊

The SheCodes beginner coding workshop was awesome. I went into it with very little knowledge and came out of it creating a webpage that I was actually proud of. The way HTML, CSS and JavaScript are taught, really made me retain the knowledge. I found it easy to recall what I had learned when having to put it into practice.
I have really enjoyed the SheCodes Plus course; the format of the course made learning enjoyable, and at no point did I feel overwhelmed as lessons were broken down into manageable segments with challenges at the end in order to check understanding. I have always felt supported throughout and am really looking forward to starting the final React workshop!

I really enjoyed this workshop. This is definitely a good introduction to coding, it is the very basic beginnings and really helps you see if you want to take the plunge into learning more. After this, I am wanting more! I loved it, it was very cool and i am excited to continue to develop my coding skills.

I recommend this course to everyone who wants to start coding, no matter in which coding language. Specifically to those who are afraid of coding and think it's too hard to learn! This is certainly a good way to start because making a website (landing page in this case) using HTML, CSS and JS is actually fun and interactive. So you won't be bored and you keep going to achieve the defined small goals during this course. I personally really enjoyed it.

I loved this workshop. I started with little to no knowledge about coding. I found myself looking forward to the lessons each week and playing around with the new tools we learned in my free time. I can't wait to take the next workshop and to continue my coding journey.
I highly recommend SheCodes Plus for anyone who wants to learn how to build a working website from scratch. The fact that the lessons are divided into topics helped me a lot to understand the step-by-step process of building a website that can provide important information such as the current weather. I am very happy that I now have a published website that accurately states the weather in any city in the world.
The video material was super easy to follow. The workshop is the perfect introduction (as well as a refresher if it's been a while!) to HTML, CSS and JS - the information does not overwhelm you and it actually makes you excited to come back to it every week and complete the challenges/homework. The knowledge that you'll gain solely from the workshop may be limited, but it will be a solid foundation and once you get to the final project you'll realize how much you've actually learned as it will be sufficient to get you "in the zone" and allow you to have fun with it :) . The personal advice offered by the instructor is extremely useful as well. Definitely worth every cent. Excited to come back for more soon!
Working through my first SheCodes class, I was excited learning about HTML & CSS, but was scared to learn about Javascript, based on stories I was told. I completed my first class, and then did SheCodes plus, and javascript was almost nothing! I started my SheCodes React, and was terried, but Matt made it easy, and explains everything thoroughlyso you understood why it was that way. If there were more SheCodes courses, I would most definitely be signing up!
Absolutely loved this course! I heard about it through friends of friends working within the FinTech/Tech sphere and through my sister as well who is currently doing the more advance course. Before I started this course, the only coding knowledge I had was from my Myspace days LOL. This course has helped me feel way more confident in the choice to continue my journey into the coding world. Great introductory course. It refreshed my mind with all the CSS, and JS which I had long forgotten! The short-to-the-point lessons followed by a challenge and a solution after you submit your solution really gets you focused and wanting you to keep learning more. I can totally vouch for this anyone willing to gain some foundational knowledge on HTML, CSS, and JS.
After graduating from the SheCodes Introduction to Coding, I went on to SheCodes plus - it's been an overall fantastic learning experience. Matt is a fantastic teacher and Lexi has kept in regular contact checking in, which really adds to the experience. I studied Computer Science at University, but felt I was unable to code, and had zero confidence in myself. It has been a few years since I graduated from university, and I felt ready to step back into the field. I now want to continue my journey, take the next step with SheCodes to learn React, then continue my learning with the aim to begin a career as a software developer.

I really enjoyed the SheCodes introductory workshop! Matt was a great teacher and went through everything step-by-step. I especially enjoyed his humour - it made learning more fun! The challenges and project are also a great way to hold you accountable and practice what you learn along the way. I'm a digital marketing professional and I think what I have learned here will certainly help me in my career. I'm looking forward to continuing my learning and becoming more adept with programming. I absolutely recommend Shecodes! I learned way more than just the basics. The lessons in Shecodes are setup to be user friendly and not intimidating. The coursework is challenging, but you will not be over your head because you can seek support 24/7. I can't wait to continue my coding journey!

At the beginning I was a bit intimidated to be learning something new and different to my current job, however week by week my skills just kept on building up and my confidence just grew. I have always been a bit wary of online courses because I'm pretty old school and love face to face interaction. However the support provided is great and I have managed to do this around my full time job and kid...it also supported my already existent weather obsession!
