I've learned a lot with the SheCodes workshop, mainly because the exercises helped me go through it all with fewer adversities. I've never seen another learning platform being as efficient as this. The tuition cost never ceases to surprise me positively. If you want to learn how to code but don't have much time or a big budget, consider enrolling in a SheCodes program. You won't regret it!

I'm so glad I found SheCodes! Out of all the other online courses and videos I've watched on how to code for beginners, SheCodes has definitely helped me the most! I was able to understand how things are implemented, what works and what doesn't. The online videos are so easy to follow along, and I was learning at a nice pace so there was no rush. My only regret is not finding out about it earlier.
I like the flexible nature of the course and the videos were easy to follow and understand. It was cool to see how much progress I could make in such a short time and it was fun learning too. Would recommend!

This course is fun to take. It gives you an introduction to HTML, CSS, and JAVASCRIPT. The videos are easy to follow, and the learning is interactive because you must submit the challenges before the next lesson. It is a good first step to start web development. I will definitely recommend this to my friend.
Considering my background, I never expected to like or understand coding but this workshop completely changed my perception. SheCodes is truly an amazing project, I had lots of fun learning about coding and it is exciting to see all the little changes you're making in your work in real time. The videos are vey straightforward, you can easily keep up and help via Slack is super fast! I truly enjoyed being able to work at my own pace and take time to apprehend all the new information. Joining this workshop was hands down one of the best decisions I made.

Coming from a different background I thought that I will never be able to enjoy or understand coding. The learning parts were easy to understand, challenges piqued my interest and the solution parts were fun and gave me a-ha/wow moments. I am surprised by how much you learn in such a short time. Before I started this course I had zero experience with building websites. It has been really fun creating something from scratch. I am going to continue with the two other courses.

Super helpful in learning new coding techniques. I had a little trouble keeping up and understanding why certain functions were built the way they were and that wasn't completely explained that well but overall, it's a great start and I look forward to continuing my journey with SheCodes Plus React!
I was always interested in learning how to code, but never thought that I would get the chance. When I first came upon a SheCodes ad, I was immediately intrigued; and when my employer asked me to attend further training during my short-term work, I jumped at the opportunity – and never regretted it. Being totally absorbed in the learning videos and corresponding challenges, hours pass without me realising it. I immensely enjoy putting what I just learned into action and can’t believe how far I’ve already come in such a short period of time. Coding can be challenging, but it is also a lot of fun and extremely rewarding. If you are unsure whether you should sign up for one of the workshops, do it! I'm sure you won't be disappointed! 😉
I really enjoyed this course! I love how each section was broken down and we took it one step at a time. You really don't need any prior experience to understand basic html, css and JS. It is easy to pick up and learn! Thank you so much for putting this workshop together!
I have gotten a lot out of my SheCodes workshop. The mix of teaching, assignments, and feedback has been super useful and has formed the foundation for me to be able to learn in an effective way.

SheCodes is one of the best beginners workshop out there. Matt is an amazing teacher, he takes the time to break things down to you and gives great context regarding each subject. With every lesson there is a challenge for you to test your knowledge and exercise what you've just learnt. Matt has a great team at hand helping you with any issues on the group working platform. I've thoroughly enjoyed learning html, css and javascript - seeing what they can do has been eye-opening.

Even though I spent a significant time among software engineers, I have always thought that coding is for people who are excellent in Math. I am truly relieved and inspired by learning that my bias was wrong. Thanks to the SheCodes team, I have discovered yet another tool for creating and sharing my ideas and content. The learning curve in this workshop was incredible! No question left unanswered thanks to the lovely post challenge solution videos, which are always reassuring after some of the most challenging moments. Feels unreal to have coded all this project when a few weeks ago i had no clue about anything. There are still some areas I would like to improve in my projects but thanks to this workshop I actually feel capable of doing so!
The structure of the lessons are in a logical order and easy to follow. It's impressive how easy I could learn to code basic things within some days & that this "magic field" is not as difficult as I thought. I highly recommend everyone to try this workshop, if you want to get to know a bit more about coding.
I've spent a couple of months searching for a coding workshop before coming across SheCodes. There was a 1 hour workshop offered by SheCodes for FREE which I signed up for and learnt soo much from 🙌 It was from there that I knew that SheCodes was the right workshop for me! The level of detail to the mini-challenges provided for each lesson makes sure you put into practice everything you are learning, and the Slack channel with such an active community is definitely an added bonus 🤩

I think the hardest part was trying to build out HTML & CSS for the weather app. Since you're not utilizing a template. Learning to implement API for real-world data & forecast was super fun and challenging. Would definitely recommend this to get your feet wet with coding.
I couldn't express how happy I am ending this workshop and knowing what I achieved, when I had no knowledge about coding at all. Totally recommend SheCodes for anyone trying to learn how to code! So looking forward for a chance to code on my everyday basis.

SheCodes Plus was a real challenge. I learned a lot and the support from teachers was great. The course material was really good to create a simple project. When I tried to make my project more complex, I found the help I needed through the slack channel.

I would highly recommend SheCodes! I enjoy analytical and puzzle solving tasks, and out of interest took up learning basic code in my free time, where a passion was sparked! I love seeing the immediate products of inputting code correctly vs incorrectly, and fully controlling the output of my work. The SheCodes beginners workshops have been a great kick-start and enabled me to build on and make greater sense of some of my initial knowledge.
I cannot even put into words how this experience has changed my outlook on the direction I want my career to take and what a great boost it has given to my confidence levels. I have always viewed Tech industry as a dark horse that is very exciting but also scary and unreachable at the same time. After learning coding basics from the free class (hey, I thought I have nothing to lose but an hour of my time 😅) and seeing how many women completed the workshops, I thought to myself, "If they can do it, surely so can I!". So I did and absolutely loved it, not only I discovered that coding ideally suits my personality and mindset, but also that I'm pretty much into the design side of things. Matt and the team provide a very safe and supportive learning environment where things are well explained and provide you with plenty of opportunities to practice yourself. All the classes were easy to follow and Matt is a great teacher! He explains in a nice, easy way, and I could definitely start understanding a lot of things that I've always seen people around me talking about - yeah, working in Advertisement and Design and not knowing this, you're a fish out of water! That was quite a ride! Right off the bat, I can say that I’m not mastering React (yet), but I can ensure that these weeks of learning React were a great start to put myself into this learning process. I like how recorded lessons were raw and that Matt showed the whole process (without editing it out) and the challenges he was facing along the way. One thing I’d love to see in the future is more courses for different project types. I guess I’m saying that because I really enjoyed the classes, and I wish I could stay for a bit longer, diving even deeper into coding with the SheCodes team :) Thank You ALL - Matt, SheCodes Team, and all Ladies!

I really enjoyed the process of working on my SheCodes Plus Project. I was able to use all that I learned in my two workshops to make something impressive! This was a great way to commit all that I learned to my memory in a fun and effective way.
I never taught I could even learn coding! But Shescodes and Matt´s detailed lessons are so good that it becomes any easy task. I loved that the videos are all very shorts, and give you the opportunity to practice what you just learned right away. It has been a great workshop and I´m definitely in for the Shecodes Plus. Trust me, coding is FUN!

I have been wanting to learn to code for a couple of years. After struggling to find time for other services, I found success with SheCodes. It's structured to give me something to work on each week.
I applied for this workshop because I was curious to understand how websites are made and how they work and also because I wanted to learn more about programming with JavaScript.
This workshop gave me the opportunity to learn about coding at my own pace and the lessons were easy to follow and understand. I would recommend it to anyone who is curious about what coding entails.
I've had so many "false starts" learning how to code from various different sources and eventually came to the conclusion I just couldn't do it. SheCodes changed that! The clear, bite-size instruction videos, example code snippets, challenges and homework tasks are such a great way to see progress and make it all feel manageable and achievable. I've definitely enjoyed learning with SheCodes. The workshops have been really easy to follow format wise and the end of week homeworks really help to put into action what it is we've learnt. I cannot stop raving about this course! I was so nervous that my terrible maths would stand in the way of my completing it, but I couldn't have been more wrong. Matt explains everything really thoroughly and at a pace that's really easy to keep up with. The only thing I felt perhaps needed a bit more explanation was JavaScript as, at times, the challenges were a bit more advanced than had been explained in the lessons, which got me in a bit of a flap. On the whole though, the best learning experience (online or in-person) I've ever had! Merci beaucoup, Matt! 😉

The past 3 weeks have been so much fun! I never knew coding could be so easy to learn. This course has REALLY subverted my expectation of what coding would be like. I am generally very artsy and love to be creative and this provided me with a wonderful creative outlet, as well as such useful tools for marketing and building websites.
