The workshop was very well structured. Each lesson was challenging but also very engaging and easy to follow. As someone who has never coded before, it was really rewarding to see my final project showcase what I've learned in a short amount of time! ☺️
I learnt a little bit of code when a I was a teenager and this workshop help me to remember all of it. I really enjoyed the challenges and the opportunity to discover another career path. It was challenging in some areas but so satisficing when you make it work! Highly recommend!

I was skeptical at first just because I have tried, many times, to learn something about coding but it seemed nobody could teach me in a simple, fast, clear way. I am SOOO happy I chose SheCodes, I feel so good about It, I couldn't believe I was learning so easily a subject I always found impossibile.
All the content from the workshop is easy to digest and makes the learning process fun. I also appreciate that this course really empowers you to learn and doesn't treat this subject as something out of this world. The way the lessons & challenges are structured couldn't be better, it allows you to really learn and be able to finally create something of your own. I highly recommend it.

It's embarrassing but I was Java developer 10 years ago...😅, and now I am on business side for my professional career. However, the background of "Tech + Business" have become my advantage. The technology is always evolving, and it is hard to catch up all the time if there is less opportunities like my current situation to leverage its skillset. I won't say this round of SheCodes was easy but it is definitely satisfying at the end! Getting to see an app work, that you built and understand how it works, is really exciting. I can't wait to share what I learned and keep tinkering around with APIs.
I had a lot of fun on this! I thoroughly enjoyed this course and learning how to build this app from scratch. The pacing of the lessons allows you to build up on your knowledge and practice new concepts straight away.
This was a great starter course! I learned a lot about the basics of coding & how to pull all the parts of HTML, CSS & JS together.
I recommend the workshops by all my heart! It wasn't that easy to keep up with all deadlines because of crazy Xmas time nevertheless I've managed because it was SO MUCH FUN to finally understand what it is all about 😀 Formula of the course is great and thanks to the small steps method you quickly gain necessary knowledge of tools and skills to create your own basic web page and the best part of it you can continue to learn individually thanks to Matt's tips. He is great teacher, I gradually got addicted to his voice 😀 I'd love to continue this challenging adventure of coding with SheCodes! If all online courses were created like that, I would have end by only learning stuff on the Internet 😉 Chapeau Bas!
I have really enjoyed this course and found it both challenging and rewarding. I found the breakdown of the modules and video tutorials easy to follow and the homework enabled me to put my learnings into practice. I was not sure what to expect when I subscribed to the course. But as soon as I started I absolutely loved it. The composition of the course is great. You'll learn everything step by step and the instructions are very easy to follow. It's awesome what I've learnt in such a short time.

I really enjoyed the course. Matt broke down the process into the small steps technique, which is really effective and I believe the only way to teach people and to make them love at the same time. I like to create and innovate and experience new things and of course learning languages , which method is similar to coding, ( i had to realize!). It did open up new doors for me to create. Great class ! I learned a lot in week 1, I wish there was a bit more coding lessons in week 3.. Week 3 felt more like a recap of the other 2 weeks.
What a journey! I spent many years trying to teach myself how to make a website. I spend countless hours researching how to do this. In the amount of time that I kept trying to make a completely functional site. I became a Financial Educator started building my business from the ground up. I thought I had my life figured out. Once the pandemic hit. Everything changed and I want to embrace that change with all that I have. It's been almost a year now. Thanks to SheCodes the time it took me to learn how to make a site has been so much less. In 3 weeks I'm able to make something functional and beautiful. The skills I have learned could truly take me places while adding to my current career and opportunity is in the air again. I'm excited to continue with the next two courses and I can't wait for what the future has in store for me.

Another great course by SheCodes! Again the pace is challenging, but not impossible to follow, the level of difficulty increases in a way that you feel like you're learning, but don't get overwhelmed. Hello World;) I would like to recommend SheCodes workshops to everyone who is interested in coding! Basic SheCodes course is a great solution for all women who would like to see a kind of a demo version of HTML,CSS and Javascript :) After 3 weeks of learning with Matt, I managed to memorize and I'm able to use basic functions of mentioned languages. It was a lot of fun, too! Matt has a natural teaching talent, lessons are well structured,a student doesn't become overwhelmed at any point of time. Thanks a lot SheCodes team. I had no prior coding experience before joining and this has been a great introduction. I have enjoyed getting to grips with the basics and putting into practice everything I have learnt in the final project.

This workshop is perfect for people like me, who had never had any experience in coding. I really loved it and I learned a lot. The classes are easy to follow and having to do challenges and homework helps you keep track of the subjects you learn.
It was a really enjoyable 3-week. The workshop provided good basic. I definitely spent more than 5 hrs per week coding, trying out additional things. I am looking forward to learning more at SheCodesPlus.

It was a struggle to actually find time to complete this workshop. Not because the workshop was difficult but because real life was mad! Lovely Daniela was always handy to give me extensions on the deadlines 😊 I loved to learn a bit more about coding, although, I must confess, it was a little frustrating to achieve a few things (like retrieving the correct time for the app 🤯 ). On the other hand, when I managed to get hold of how things worked, I did a little victory dance 😅 I would strongly recommend this workshop to everyone wanting to learn coding, even if you don't have any coding background (I'm the perfect example for that!) I have learned a lot during this 3-week workshop. Coding sounds very daunting but once you start doing it, it is a very satisfying work as you can instantly see the result. I would recommend this to anyone like me who is interested in learning and getting into coding but don't have any idea where to start. There are resources on the internet but I like it when it's organised and presented by someone who is experienced in the field to guide and this is the perfect option.
Hi! I had no coding experience prior to SheCodes and I got surprised how much I could learn about it! I always thought coding is super difficult, but thanks to Matt's didactics I was able to build my first website! I also got a lot of support from Matt's team, which gave me more security and motivation! I highly recommend it!

I have always been interested in coding. However, I also thought that it is kind of a mystery and hardly possible to learn without sacrificing years to it. Well, then my friend mentioned SheCodes and all my prejudices fell while watching the free class. These three weeks were so much fun and informative. This workshop was very useful and interesting. It is a fast way to learn and all the lessons are explained in a very clear way. The workshop also allows to do some practice and to get in touch with people from other countries that are attending the same Course.

I have been curious about computer coding for about a year and wanted to give it a go. SheCodes was the perfect introduction to it and the learning experience was enjoyable and enlightening.
It's such a great experience learning code. Matt explains everything that is required per lesson without over complicating it. He does such and amazing job! And honestly, the response time in helping out students is unbelievably quick and always spot on. The whole team is amazing!

I had a lot of fun and learned a ton during this 3 week intro coding class. It was a perfect introduction; I never felt overwhelmed. Now, I'm interested in pursuing one of the longer courses to expand my knowledge and experience.
I’m not new to coding. Had some experience in Java and the Spring framework. Took this course to learn more about the front-end side. This course is very helpful. It teaches me all the front-end basics (HTML, CSS, javascript) in a detailed way. I enjoyed the challenge problems that come after the lesson and the weekly project. These are the parts that kept me interested. The instructor is engaging and makes the course easy to understand. He gave practical advice on using various coding tools. I learned a lot in this course and have built an awesome weather app in the final project.
Learning coding has been a lovely experience. These classes are pretty fun in a way I’ve been always looking forward to jump to the next one. You guys have done an amazing job with this platform. :)
I had been searching for a coding course that was easy to follow and stumbled across SheCodes. I love that SheCodes allows you to work at your own pace. Managing work, family, extra curriculars and life.. I needed flexible deadlines but a course that provided structure. SheCodes provided that and more. Tutorials and challenges are efficient and challenges you to use resources outside of the class to complete your work. I feel great after completing the first course and can't wait to learn more!
I didn't know that coding can be so interesting. You will start first lesson and want to go further no matter what time it is. This workshop is the best way to learn coding. You will see that you are more creative than you think.

The videos are short and simple, and straight after each video you have a challenge or an issue to solve and at the end of it you can learn and play with a project you build from scratch. For the whole duration of the course you join the community on Slack, where you can get advice from peers or tech experts. The course developed by Matt definitely went beyond by expectations!

The React course was a great overview to learn about this JavaScript library. I understand now the logics and feel ready to jump in a more advanced challenge, adding more languages to my toolbox and levelling up everything I learned these past months with SheCodes! Matt has a very practical way to teach things, and the support on the Slack channel has always been on top!
My experience was really interesting. I had lots of fun trying to create things from scratch and learned new skills for my personal and working life. I got stuck several times, but was able eventually to pull through; I felt challenged and stimulated throughout the whole journey!

All my previous coding knowledge was learnt on the job. The SheCodes introductory workshop has filled in some gaps in my knowledge and made me more confident in my coding skills.
I used to think that coding was only for super-intelligent math wizes. Well, guess what?! Wrong! Step by step Matt showed that everybody can learn coding. An IQ of 150 or above is not required ;) I will definitely continue with SheCodes Plus React and ensure myself a future career in programming.
This was honestly sooo much fun, frustrating at times but learning something new is never only easy. The steps were very doable. The small challenges in the beginning really helped me get there and Matt explains things very well. I am stoked about this!
